We stopped in for breakfast while at the Inn. Tea selection is just Stash so didn’t bother. Staff were friendly. Servings were good sized for a breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast with egg. The eggs are made in some kind of form that just makes a big disk, which was funny, but worked! Tasted good, not what I would call gourmet, but a good solid breakfast option. Nice seating options.

Friendly staff. Good ice coffee and cozy atmosphere. Restroom is outside of the coffee shop. Most recent visit April 2019. We visited this place again for breakfast and the simple bagels and Greek yogurt were great. Very friendly staff as always. Nice atmosphere in the weekday morning.

No food after 3pm.It’s definitely not clear that you’re only supposed to order outside food from certain places and not others . Happy to follow the rules if I knew about them ahead of time. it’s not obvious that marketplace is affiliated only with certain restaurants and not others.Anyways the server shamed us and made us feel very unwelcome on trivia night. I’m 8 months pregnant and just wanted some pizza, didn’t really care from where. But the way we were talked to/treated makes me not want to come back

Great location and ambiance. On a nice day, outdoor seating is the only way to go. They have bakery items, hot sandwiches, salads, charcuterie, wine, cocktails, and a decent beer list. I felt the lunch menu was limited and service was a little slow, though it was a busy day and restaurants are still adjusting to the new COVID guidelines. The whole village area seems very pet-friendly, in fact it was pet-popular on this day. It's good to see people out and about again!Olympic Otter

Food was terrible and service was mediocre. The grilled cheese was just barely warmed bread with cold cheese on it and the BLT lacked the B and the T. Not worth it.

Can’t say enough about their BLT with pickled onions. Great selection of pastries and Free WIFI. If you’re around at night definitely check out there to $2 buck shuck night. Freshest oysters so so yummy

Cool market place with an espresso bar (breakfast sandwiches, etc). A regular bar (mixed drinks), a wine bar and a bottle shop for liquor and spirits. One stop shop! Seating inside and out (with patio heaters).

Got coffee to go here. Really cool vibes to this place. Coffee was solid (they use Pegasus). I think their flavorings balance was a bit off (seemed like too little in my 16oz but too much in the 8oz) but that's minor. Solid service and well-staffed so our drinks came out quickly, which I know is tough for businesses these days. I would go back on a future visit to the island though, for sure.

Relaxed gathering place with coffee, bakery, sandwiches & beer venders. Superb coffee!

Notionally interesting restaurant structure with several choices of food type. Arrangement of menus is really inconvenient for everything but the coffee shop, as you order in front of the coffee shop and can't see the other menus. Their taproom was somewhat understaffed and service was slow, even though there weren't many people there. The food was fairly expensive, but mostly pretty good. Their avocado toast could use some refinement.Kid-friendliness: Outside seating, fairly informal.

Good crew and good food. This is their line at 9am for their donuts. Enough said.

I am a local and visit Marketplace almost daily, no other options around this side of the island, and the food on this place is getting worse and worse by day which is a shame. All the bread and pastries are "from" Macrina, which used to be a great bakery, but no longer. Macrina expanded and they "carefully" source their products. Basically the Starbucks equivalent for baked goods.A bagel with cream cheese is about $6+, and the bagels are consistently 2-3 days OLD. Really?! Macrina's truck delivers every day and they can't serve you a fresh $6+ bagel? The egg sandwiches, frittatas used to have real eggs now, the "eggs" are some kind egg patty you get out of a box, and taste nothing like eggs. Some of the staff are great and friendly, some other do not give a dam and dismissive. If you are visiting, do yourself a favor, go to Coquette (downtown), get yourself a real pastry, or sandwich in a real baguette, baked here in the in the island daily, by the owner.

Love walking through this little town. A few nice, higher end shops and several eateries.

Every week my wife and I share a 1st rate BLT at the Marketplace, plus a mocha for me, tea for wife, and if we have room, a scone.

Upon the entrance of this magnificent establishment of Pleasant Beach village, the Marketplace is the most marvelous coffee shop in all the world. From the outside beautiful native plants decorate and surround the colorful dining area where guests of all the most importance relax and feast on the delicious cuisine created within the gallery. Once you have entered the expansive dining hall the smell of freshly ground exotic coffee beans blended with the newly made sweet donuts for a perfect aroma. Among this great hall lays an assortment of various seating arrangements with people greatly enjoying meals and refreshments. Of course, any reasonable individual must visit this exquisite place for of course this it is the best in all of the land.

Just moved here recently and this became my new coffee place immediately. Everyone there was nice and the house drip coffee is good and at a good price. They have a good coffee loyalty program and I already enjoyed my first free drink on New Years Eve. I stopped over for a beer later that evening , ( amazing pints) and ended up staying until they closed. I really did not know anyone in town yet and I was really made to feel at home. Talked to many nice locals and heard some very nice music from Kara Hesse who was the featured performer. It was a very nice evening, nice crowd, lots of families having fun and very glad this establishment is right by me !

Huge and tasty sandwiches in a relaxed low key atmosphere. Had a tuna and a BLT and we were stuffed. Plus it's right in historic Lynnwood Center, and a short drive to Fort Ward waterfront park. Also serves tasty looking breakfast items. Very friendly staff.

Our favorite place to hang. Excellent beer and wine. Awesome food available till 3. After 3 try the charcuterie plate or fruit and cheese, both are wonderful and generous. You can space out well both inside and out. Staff is also a lot of fun.

This place is absolutely rancid. Went in there at 12:00 with my 2 year old daughter, and it was the worst most miserable experience of my life. I ordered my food around lunch time and waited a whole hour to get my less than subpar garbage sandwich. My daughter was not potty trained, and she urinated all over the floor while waiting because the waiter would not respond to my questions on where the restroom was. It is laughable how god awful this establishment is. Never coming back ( *thumbs down )

Has been our weekend coffee and breakfast spot for years! Now we can rarely find a seat and the lines are longer, with slower food delivery. We love the staff and products and will always make time to stop in with our kids for treats.

Every conceivable option for food and drinks is available inside or outside here, especially since they feature the menu of The Beach House restaurant upstairs. The staff is always kind but Max and Dustin really stand out.The restaurant is inviting, offers dining indoors and out, and is clean. Don't miss it.

I was excited to see the sign for donuts so we waited in line with high hopes. The chocolate donut had excellent frosting, but the $3.50 donut was bad. In fact, Safeway makes much better donuts. Next time, I may try the coffee, but we will avoid the donuts!

Wonderful atmosphere. Delicious food, I just wish they would stick to their advertised hours. After driving all the way to Bainbridge Island and finding out they decides to close an hour early is disappointing. 7 to 4 should mean 7 am to 4 pm.otherwise one of our favourite places.
