Great thrift store - clean, super friendly staff (all volunteers), and the products are excellent. I shop there for my three toddlers and have found clothes with the tag still on for $.75, and super cute toys. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by!

Here you'll find all sorts of second hand stuff. Once in a while you might find some new items. They sell shoes, clothing, furniture, home decor, books, toys, fabric and lots more. Items are very reasonably priced. If you've never been to the Bargain Box give it a try, never know what treasures you'll find.

I love this place and I love the ladies up front. I have literally been to this place hundreds of times in the last ten years. Everyone has always been courteous and kind even during closing time. That said I had the MOST awful experience today. At 1:45 PM I was in the back looking around by the tablecloths and a lady with shoulder length brown hair about 5 feet tall in her 50s said her name was Denise or Vernice I couldn't understand her, told me they were closing to take my things up front. She was the most vile and unfriendly person I have met. I said okay and kept looking around. There were at least four other ladies perusing at the same time. She literally yelled at me that she was a volunteer and wanted to go home for me to stop trying to get to the back of the store and go up front. I told her the line was long up front and I would go up there in a few minutes. (My daughter in law was in line with our things). This woman went berzerko and again started to tell me to get myself up front and she didn't care that the line was long that she was a volunteer and did not want to be there all day. I asked her why she wasn't saying anything to the other ladies around me. She looked at me blank. I asked her if she was picking on me because I was Hispanic? She stuttered something and I went up front to get on line. She disappeared in the back and from the time I got on line until I left she did not show her face. If she does not want to be kind and courteous she should NOT be volunteering. If she is going to be prejudice and cruelty she should stay home until she is ready to grow up and stop hating.

The Bargain Box is a charity, not a "place of business". All goods are donated, all workers are unpaid volunteers, and all proceeds are used to fund community service activities, such as the York County Food Closet. I have never experienced anything but very courteous behavior from the staff. Prices are very low and much of the inventory is of high quality.

This thrift store is clean and has a great selection of items. Most of the items are priced well for a thrift store and it appears that they offer sales on categories of items that have started to pile up. The staff are all volunteers, but they work hard, pay attention to customers and seem to really care about their work here. I do wish they were open a bit later which is my only complaint, but overall a must-visit shop while in the area.

Seems we always find an item or several things we want and/or need. Merchandise is well organized and clean. If something is in less than pristine condition, it's marked "as is". The people who work here are friendly, helpful and professional.

Very rude people! Never been treated so badly at a place of business before. It was my first time there and wasn't aware they closed at 2 today. I was given attitude for basically shopping still. Some advice to you all that work there...maybe being nice to people will bring back new customers who have no idea of your rules! I will never be back and I will let everyone I know to not go either.

Best price with pretty good variety items! They don't sell dollar store items for more than a dollar like some thrift stores in this area. Some people donate high quality items here. Plus, all the money you pay go to help people in need!!

I always find great little items for really cheap. The hours are horrible for working people. You only have a short time on Sat to shop. Still love getting up early Sat and checking out the deals.

They are a resale shop, they sell only used items. Great prices...bought a pair of mens jeans this morning for $2.00, in very good condition, something for everyone for every room!
