I wanted a 10 ft trailer for kayaks. Now I don't have to put on top of the car. Was concerned that I might not be able to put it on the car by myself. I was shocked. I was able to do it all by myself. Drove it home, practiced backing it..Not bad for an old lady..the staff was amazing. I actually had fun getting this trailer. They had so many varieties of trailers, truck toppers, so many different storage sheds..tons of accessories. It was so had not purchasing things for the trailer.. I did get a new spare tire..better prepared.

Just got a new Leer 180 cap for my 2022 Chevy Colorado couldn't be more happy how it looks. The men that installed it were top notch and the sales people took excellent care of us also. I would recommend giving Leonard a chance to show you some Truck shells if you're looking to put one on yours.

I am from out of town, someone cut my 4 flat on my trailer. I came in looking for a heavy duty replacement. Did not want one of the thin cheap ones from box stores. I showed the end to the guy at the counter. He went to the back brought me a pigtail and handed it to me. Just what i needed. This place has earned all my trailer needs going forward. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing help from out of state.

Justin is just the best! We live in Virginia but travel to Ohio frequently and always pass Leonard. When we were looking for a horse trailer online, we found a perfect one there. Justin grabbed the reins and made sure we found the right one. And we did at a great price too! He followed up on everything we asked of him and even called us after his kid’s ball game one eve to be sure we were happy!

We had to bring the work truck by to see if the truck bed cover could be repaired. We stopped by and were immediately assisted by the great team at Leonard. They had us in and out in less than 15 minutes. In the past we’ve stopped by for help with previous bed covers and are always well looked after. The folks here are polite, professional and so helpful. I would highly recommend Leonard’s.

I wish I could give this company negative stars. I wouldn’t advise anyone to ever to business with them. I purchased a shed in early October and was promised a delivery date 5 times. Each time I was promised the shed was on site. Finally I went to their location and put eyes on my building to ensure it was there. I had to travel for work and my wife took off the next day to ensure the delivery went smooth. Leonard did not contact us all day and out delivery time came and left. My wife called over and over again to finally get someone 10 minutes before they closed. They told her the delivery guy had gone home for the day and we wouldn’t be getting our shed. We immediately demanded a full refund only to have the same results. We were promised a check 4 different times and still have yet to receive any money back. Please do not do business with this company. They don’t communicate and don’t have a clue what’s going on with their own company.

I stopped by dedicated to buy a trailer on the spot. The salesman, Blair, joked about "how many trailers I was looking to buy". When I asked how long the trailer had been on the lot, he told me it had been about 10 months. There was obvious surface rust and I asked him about a damaged fender well which he acted as though he had just discovered himself. I told him I would buy at a discounted price and he said he would talk to his boss and to give him a call in the morning.I called this morning and they had taken the price from $999 to $949.It seems as if they don't care for their sale. $50 discount for a damaged and rusted trailer is a joke. When I commented that they would have to come down more for the sale, they were content with letting it rust even further, hoping to sell it to someone else without them noticing the damages.I'll eat a box of nails before I think about going there again.*In response to the comment below, I took my business to Trailer World just across the Coleman. They were friendly, informative, and they weren't trying to sell damaged trailers.

The Leonard Team are professional, experienced, and my experience with them was exceptional. I originally purchased a barn building over 15 years ago that needed the doors replaced. They not only had new doors built at their factory, they installed the doors with expert knowledge and care. They had to rebuild the opening before installing the doors. Their employee, "Rick" and his grandson, "Alex" are more than employees - they were master carpenters and 'did the job' right. I'm forever grateful! Thank you!

Ultimately displeased, will not recommend and will not return. Purchased a Leer top for my truck. It came in on time and looks great. Had problem with the installation. They could not get the dome light to work, I discovered later it was miss wired. Installer left muddy footprints in the bed. Shavings from where it looks like they had to drill the top were all over the carpet trim. Was told they needed to order a new junction box and never followed up with the replacement. Never. I kept calling and getting the run around. It has been over 3 months. Also didn't trim the rear window seal and it kept letting caught when the window was closed. Didn't realize it needed to be trimmed until I asked a forum online.

Only took 2 months to receive a fender for my trailer. Ordered on July 12,2018 and finely got it today September 6, 2018. Sales staff have been caught in lies an manager didn’t want to get involved or help. Regional manger has said anything from first,fenders in my truck, to have to get from another store and finely waiting on them to be delivered to his store in Richmond. Have waited for regional manger to show up at store,when he stated he would be there an not show up. Have a lot of documentation and text messages to prove poor customer service, that regional manager agrees with but still giving false info. RM texted don’t make my trailer anymore hard to get parts. That’s funny only getting fender an had several new trailers on lot with same size fenders as mine. I measured them. Might not make trailer but still make fender which I ordered. He told me store manager would be there when having fender finely installed. Doug never showed. RM stated would replace both fenders because of there screw ups. Never happened. Only replaced one which I’m fine with. The repair man at location is only person there that has good customer service. Need to bring old manger back (Fred) to teach them customer service. They need to learn what integrity means.

I was so pleased with the service received at Leonard Buildings & Truck Accessories in Yorktown, VA. I purchased a bed cover for my husband's truck a couple of years ago. He loved it. Fast forward June 2019 someone crashed into the back of my husband's truck and the cover was no longer secure. The Micar Collision Center in Chesapeake, VA was only concerned with the bumper and tail gate. All they cared about as well as USAA was that it would close and lock but it was no longer lining up and secure from rain and theft. We could actually place our hand between the latch and the bed. Anyone could easily gain access to the bed's contents. Unfortunately, Micar and USAA were unconcerned and wanted us to accept it that way. There was no way we should accept a repair that didn't fully restore the truck to the condition prior to the accident. Mr. Richard and his granddaughter at Leonard as well as the gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful, kind, warm and professional in helping me get my husband's truck restored back to the way it was before the accident. Customer service and just plain kindness are very appreciated. We will definitely keep them in mind for all of our future needs for his truck or maybe a shed. Please don't hesitate to do business with these folks.

The shed is great but I’ve been waiting on them to deliver the ramp so I can actually use the shed. It’s been a month and I get no updates from them other than “it’ll be next week”. I call them weekly to check in but they never call me to update. I’ll upgrade this review to 3 stars once I actually get my ramp but customer service is seriously lacking here.

The absolute worst customer service my family has ever dealt with. We purchased a storage shed and when they came to install the unit, it was far from leveled, facing the wrong direction AND they broke a small piece in the bottom corner trying to move it in our yard. After they were told it was done wrong (even though it was obvious the thing wasn't leveled) they left and said they would be back to fix it later that day. After giving us their word that someone would come to fix it the next day then again a few days after that no one showed up. We went to the store one last time and told them if they didn't come the next day then we don't want the shed anymore, they can just take it back. Finally, the next day, someone showed up to level the shed and position it in the right direction after over a week! They still have not fixed the bottom corner that was broken upon installation. The WORST customer service ever, we will NEVER deal with this company again. Absolutely ridiculous!

I needed latch and adjustment nuts to hold bed cover in place for cover that was given to me. The gents found excessary latch and adjustment nuts that would fit as well as rail adjusters that are used with my nissan to hold cover in place. When i decided to buy a carport i searched online and saw many non local companies with all about the same out of pocket cost, i decided to try to stay local because i thought it would just be faster and much easier.. well turns out i was wrong.. i am now waiting for my 15th week on a 6-8 week install date and i was notified today that im being postponed another week.
