Good prices, clean bathrooms, some selection of Simple Mills and other GF brands. I was surprised to find Cape Cod potato chips, Harmless Harvest Coconut Water. The store was check, well lit and the staff friendly. They had enough registers open when I was there. The Gluten Free options are in at least 3 separate areas in the store making it a little difficult to find. Good selection of fresh produce as well.

The Waynesboro location is so clean, well organized & fully stocked. The staff were so helpful when I couldn't find what I was looking for. The produce section is one of the best I've shopped in. I will be back!

This location is very clean and welcoming. Although I don't shop Food Lion very much nowadays because the prices on lots of merchandise are not as inviting as the days of old, they ALWAYS have freshest Lamb Chops and great sales!

Whoever the manager was on Saturday 11/18 around 4pm she needs to step down from her position. She was the most rude, incompetent, hateful manager I’ve ever seen or had the chance to meet. We tried to buy a turkey, it was marked for $7 and some change, we get up to the register she’s running and she says $56, we mentioned it’s marked for $7, she grumbles well that’s mismarked, we’ll go back there and fix it then! All of them were marked like that, I then asked where the other turkeys were at she didn’t even make eye contact with me and just shooed me away, oh back in the case, um no they’re not. I found them finally and went to another register and she gave me the most horrid look like I killed her family. She was not helpful, her attitude was unacceptable and unnecessary, if she doesn’t like her job in customer service then step down and find another job where you can be by yourself and the fact she manages the other workers makes me feel sorry for them, they deserve better than that. You cannot expect a “leader” like that to run a shift professionally and proficiently, I wouldn’t blame the workers for leaving there, toxic work environment.

The bakery/ deli is my favorite part of the store. The cake person does an excellent job with my children birthday cakes. Recently she did a jurassic world cake. The store is very clean and workers are so friendly. Great work foodlion on hopeman. You guys rock

I love Food Lion. Been shopping there since I was child when I went with my Mother. MBP deals are great. I mostly go there now for Instacart and the deals are still pretty awesome in comparison to other retail grocery stores.

Great location. Reasonably priced goods, closer than Walmart, and decent selection. Their deals are normally good as well, especially on meat. I love the manager specials and the soft drink markdowns they have on occasion.

The store was very clean. Nice selection of meats. This was the 3rd store I had been to looking for a nice steak. Finally found one. Numerous sales going on. The staff were a credit to their profession. Everyone was courteous and professional. The 2 ladies working in the deli were great.

Meats are fresh and have great quality. Every time I come here the aisles are always presentable and floors are clean. Glass doors are always smudge free which makes product easy to see. Pricing is always clearly posted

Had a great experience. I was confused about all the different types of tea bags....cold brew,I iced tea, black tea, etc.a kind gentleman who worked there took the time to help me. I really appreciate the extra care that Food Lion employees give to their customers. And the prices are very reasonable as well. Thank you.

Like every other grocery store... they cant stock what they cant get. AND if other people would be a little more considerate and NOT take every last item on the shelf there might be something left for the seniors, handicap, etc. There is NO reason to wipe the shelves out

Appreciate the decent selection of gluten free items that have. The designated gluten free section is small but, but there is a good amount also mixed in with the regular items. It's nice to be able to get gluten free teriyaki sauce and instant pho.

I can remember the days, not all that long ago, when Food Lion was the last place I'd want to shop. I'm happy to say that's all changed. Both the Waynesboro and Fishersville VA locations are very nice, well-stocked, with helpful staff. I use them mainly for their selection of ethnic foods, better than the other chains.

I bought a package of chicken and it was leaking at the counter checkout. I checked it when I got home and the chicken package had been broken. I returned the package but couldn't find the receipt, but they gave me my money back and a coupon for the same chicken. Great service which I appreciated. The shift manger was Jennifer Root-Brown. Thanks to your employed.

Not a top of the line store. Does not claim to be. Has most of what you need. Only see choice meats. Fine usually but like the choice of true butcher not the spot. Other than that I use these stores weekly.

My only complaint when I come here is that the cashier's use far too many bags when bagging everything. Something I'll get a bag with just one item in it. Seems like a huge waste of bags to me when you can combine much more items and use less.Outside of that I typically have no issues finding what I need here.
