This is the BEST vet in all of NOVA. Dr.Marchese and her team truly wants the best for your pet and for your family. When my dog became fatally ill, they did everything in their power to ensure that he was not in pain and that my family was comforted during this hard time. For my cats, they have provided the most honest, genuine care. Even if it is a drop off appointment, I know my pets are given attention, love, and comfort while in their care. I will never take my pets anywhere else! Katie at the front desk is also fantastic and never fails to greet you with a smile and check up on your animal after seeing them in the office! I would given them a thousand stars if I could!

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff at Piedmont Pets! They were amazing when my 18 year old Shih Tzu got sick. They helped make a horrible experience just a bit better. They were kind, sensitive to my needs, and most importantly respectful to my little old lady. It was that experience, that has me trusting them with my Rottweiler puppy. Every single person, the veterinarians, the vet techs, and the front office staff are so great! I highly recommend them. Always get great quality service at a fair price. Can't recommend them enough!

We love Piedmont Pets, Our Pets are very well taken care of down to the last detail. The staff especially Amy, Cheyanne, Jessica, and Blake as well as Kim and Wes they have all been there for our pets and us when we lost our Bella Bulldog. You and your pet are more than an account when the staff calls to check on you. It meant a lot to us. We recommend the family service this vet offers to their clients. You don't find that at every office.

Horrible customer service. I just paid almost $1000 dollars for our current vet to sedate, examine and x ray our Great Dane and diagnosed her with a torn ligament but they can’t do the surgery. I called Piedmont vets to get a quote and the front office staff told me I had to pay an office visit to come in and be seen by them before they would give me a price. When I asked her if she could just give me a roundabout estimate of what that normally costs before I decide where I want to take her to be seen and spend even more money on something that’s already diagnosed with all the images, she hung up on me! So unprofessional I’m soooooo glad we aren’t clients there and never will be. Also all the other vets in the area I’ve call have happily given me a price range estimation of cost for their surgery fees. What a joke!

Update: its been a couple of years since the last review (below). My little girle crossed the rainbow bridge and they were so kind and caring. They even took care of me as i was inconsolable at the time. I now have 2 male dogs (another first) which they take equally good care and I will always appreciate their great staff and their love of the animals brought to them. Petey and Duke are always in great hands.(Old review) The staff here are just lovely and love the animals they take care of. I take my dogs there not only for the great pricing, but for the intense care they give! They are going to have to expand soon! It was a full house! I didn't mind, they gave me some great coffee and my little girl a couple of treats and we waited in the lovely waiting room until it was our turn. I don't think you can do better than Piedmont Pets Veterinary...we love them!

We've gone here for the health of all of our cats over the past 23 years and have had great doctors and veterinary technician giving our furbabies the best care. They could not have been more sensitive in handling end-of-life arrangements and have sent us condolence cards after each pet passed.Our family currently has kitties number 5, 6, and 7 getting their checkups, shots, and anything else they need from the doctors, veterinary technicians, and office professionals at Piedmont Pets. We would not go anywhere else for our pets.

All of the vet techs are so gentle and attentive. The practice is accommodating to your animal’s needs (ex: I don’t feel comfortable sitting in a waiting room with our current dog). Finally, we had a very hard situation with our last dog, who we loved dearly, and we relied on the vet to help guide us. We were sad to let our sweet girl go but felt supported and taken care of by the clinic. Thank you!

Beginning to end, we had a great experience. The scheduling request online was painless and I got a return call next day. The appointment time I requested was available. The front desk staff was personable and friendly (wish I got her name, Robin maybe). The vet tech was a gem. And, as always, Dr. Jill is just the best. She answered all of my questions and gave great advice about our girl’s allergies. She and her support staff is the reason we’ll always come to Piedmont!

It was nearing time for our appointment and I could not get our 14 month old cat into her travel carrier. She was FEISTY and fighting it. The receptionist was so sweet and helpful when I called to explain. We live just five minutes away so I said I would try and get her in the car and drive over, but would appreciate help when I got there. Upon arrival she came out and met me at my car, had arranged a room through the side door so we got the cat in that way. The vet and vet tech spent alot of patient time getting the cat in the crate (which turns out was too small, she had outgrown) at the end of the appointment. They were both very gentle and kind with our adopted cat, who was very scared and had not been to the vet before. Overall, a great first experience with this practice.

Very knowledgeable staff, vet has already solved a few recurring problems we had with our dogs. The tech who cuts nails can really get them low, which makes my dogs walk silently on the hardwood which is all one can ask for.

I'm updating my review (still ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!) because we've been bringing our pets for 6 years now and haven't even thought of finding a different office. Piedmont Pets is the best!Everyone's always friendly and try their hardest to see each pet as soon as possible -things happen! I've always felt very comfortable bringing all of our pets here.We usually see Dr Grams, but all of the vets are very nice.It's just as hard finding a new vet as it is finding a doctor for yourself. I lucked out finding Dr Grams (& Amy!) at Piedmont Pets. He takes the time to listen and offers great advice and solutions. The staff is very courteous and the fees are very fair

Piedmont Vet .. ...smh they are worried about money first, rather than an animals well being/ life. My Lil guy Benjee 7 months old who I've had since he was 6weeks old he was born with a rotation of his patella (Yorkie)he had a seizure, his 2nd & a week apart. So, I had took him there.(his vet also) They took him back....after a while the doc came in and spoke and told us all of what they did and what it could be.Than, the bill of course....I knew I had to pay something and I was thinking maybe around $2 to $300 to the most. Boy, was I in shock! An almost $900 dollar bill for 15 min(I know that doesn't matter) just saying....and even charged for oxygen! Mind u my Lil dude is almost 5lbs. They also charged for the meds they gave him $38 or $48 ( mind u he isn't even 5lbs) somewhere in between there. (Understandable)Any how, I explained to them that I couldn't pay the full amount that day and could I at least pay half and I also didn't need him to stay for the day....( so that they could keep an eye on him). Long story short they would NOT give my baby a prescription for seizure meds like she recommended! How CRUEL and NO COMPASSION or CARE......I Understand that they want and need their money but, to do that to a LIVING SOUL and make them suffer how could someone be in that line of work, how can someone be trusted with animals who would do such and have NO conscious about that decision afterwards????!!!!!! This world is filled with GREED, HATE & no COMPASSION based on a FALSE system. This is what we have come to in this "SOCIETY" It's all about the money.......well, let's just see what the universe thinks. If anyone know of any veterinarians who are compassionate about what they do and CARE would YOU PLEASE let me know OR WHERE TO TURN TO ... also this isn't my only incident with them#animalslover #animalsmatter #animalshavefeelingstoo

There are some new faces at Piedmont Pets now. I haven't memorized names yet but am pleased with everyone I interacted with. The team are all friendly and work together to make my fur babies visits there as fun as possible. Never had a bad experience there.

Our 10 week old puppy got into sugar free gum and we arrived on the doorstep of Piedmont Pets - the closest vet - a bit frantic! They received us in the midst of a busy clinic morning, roomed us within minutes and treated our puppy efficiently, expertly and with great! kindness. Thankfully, the puppy did great! Dr Grams, Amy and all the staff at Piedmont were just great! Very professional and very personal.

My puppy is a patient of Dr. Grams & he has been amazing with both her and me! I am a first time puppy owner and have had a great deal of questions. He has patiently answered them all, never seeming like he was in a hurry to leave the room. His assistants have been the same way. They are all wonderful with Lily as well. Fantastic staff! Very friendly and positive. From the moment you walk thru the door you and your furry loved one are welcomed with a smile and treated just like family. Very courteous and efficient. I especially value the time they take to explain everything and answer all of my questions. The appointment reminders for current and future appointments (shots, dental etc) are also very helpful. They always "go the extra mile". And this is why Piedmont Pets has been my furry loved ones Veterinary Care for 20+ years.

My boyfriend and I bring our new puppy, Autumn here. She has been there since she was 11 weeks and they have been amazing with her. She has been getting shots for the past month now and they really know how to keep her occupied and comfortable. Amy is wonderful and so compassionate. Setting appointments are extremely easy and they definitely work around our busy schedule!

I was very impressed with this facility and the staff. I took my adult rescue dog Boone here for the first time today. Over the years, I've seen vets in other towns & even other states. This is by far the best office I've been to. Very clean, tastefully decorated, and the staff is happy and friendly. I watched the front desk interactions with other clients as well, and the ladies up front seem to be genuinely caring to everyone. I wish I knew all of the staff names to give them a shout out. I saw Dr. Grams and Blake was the vet tech. They're very educated and kind. Boone loves his new toy and I truly appreciate the free samples/goodie bag. Thanks!PS: when reading reviews & making a decision on where to take your pet, sort them by date. It seems that the negative reviews are very old, and since then there is new staff / owners.

We’ve been going to Piedmont Pets for years and years. We love the practice. Dr. Lutz retired a few years ago, but we are quite happy with the new veterinarian we are now seeing there, Dr. Grams. We have three Cairn terriers (2 yrs, 7 yrs, 12 yrs), so Dr. Grams has had to deal with the problems and issues that occur at all stages of life for a dog. We really have had some issues lately and we are so impressed with his care. Also, Amy, the vet tech is just super. Very knowledgeable and helpful as well. I know we will be going to this practice for many more years to come.

Caring staff, new vets in the office. We switched our pets to Piedmont from another larger, local vet practice. One of the things I like best about Piedmont Pets is the staff answers the phone and gives messages to the vets and techs in a timely manner. And the vets, they even call you back personally! I have seen all 3 of the doctors and they have all treated my cats and dog with the highest care and respect. Very fairly priced. Never pushy about treatments, foods, tests to make $$. Just honest, caring people you can trust your fur babies with.

Our pets have been cared for by each of the vets from time to time over the last 6 years. We now have a new dog who was seen by Dr. Grams with Blake assisting. They we both very gentle and answered all our questions. The vets and the staff are all so kind and happy to meet new pets! I doubt that you will find professional pet care by experts better trained and knowledgeable than those at Piedmont Pets.
