The roasted redskin peanuts are absolutely the best quality peanuts available. We have been buying these for at least 10 years and will continue to buy them as long as they are available. I do wish the shipping cost was lower, as this obliges that we make the trek to Wakefield to buy them in person.

Stopped in while traveling through the area. The retail store was very clean and offered a nice variety of special treats. Bought several different types of peanuts, but have only tried the salt ‘n pepper style. They are delicious.

Today 9/13/2023 I had my cargo trailer pop off my trailer hitch in front of their store on 460. Before I could figure out how to fix my trailer( which had me stranded in the right travel lane with no shoulder to pull off on) The people at Wakefield came out to direct traffic around me.(probably saved my life today) They helped me right my trailer, called Napa auto for the correct ball. Great and genuine people. The world needs more folks like them. Also bought some great Cajun peanuts and the spicy bar mix

Love this place!! We buy raw peanuts in the shell to feed the squirrels on our property. Their prices are the best around by far. Also have lots of canned peanuts in assorted flavors. Peanut brittle is the best I've ever had!!

Best peanuts and cashews available! I have ordered shelled to roast myself, and love mixing unsalted with the salt and pepper for a great mix. Highly recommend and willing to have them shipped because they are that delicious.

I came here hoping for some hot/Cajun roasted in-shell peanuts. They have the canned shelled peanuts in many flavors. The genuine Wakefield peanut co in-shell were only sailed and unsalted. I ended up grabbing a 5lb bag of salted and have no regrets. These are of very good quality, taste and size. This bag won't last me and my son very long. Will most certainly be back for more.

This is a town of peanuts, peanuts and more peanuts. No less than 5 places selling peanuts within a 5-mile range. The Wakefield Peanut Company is one of our favorites when we come to this area. They have free samples of all the nuts they sell.

We had a very good little stop here. My wife was in the mood to have some peanuts and being from this area, we already knew this was the place to get the best ones. So, we stopped in and browsed around and bought a 5 lb bag of peanuts. So yummy!! We'll definitely be back! Thanks guys!

We love the Wakefield Peanut Company! We drive there from Newport News to buy bulk raw peanuts in the shell to feed our backyard squirrels. We also get some for ourselves! They have a great selection of nuts of all kinds! The service is always friendly and efficient!

I did not go inside but my significant other did. I was gifted some of the gourmet peanuts a few years ago & they are my favorite in the area so he picks them up for me when he is nearby or for a special surprise. This last canister, although still wonderfully crunchy is a tad salty. I find myself rubbing some off before eating them. I usually purchase unsalted or dry roasted peanuts because that seems to be the only time the level of salt is balanced for me. That was until I discovered these, so this batch was slightly disappointing. I haven't given up on them yet, you can't beat that crunch & I'm sure their other varieties are just as good.

It's a small little peanut shop with a nice variety of flavored and non flavored peanuts, cashews and almonds. Best of all it's prices are more reasonable than other area competitors. Today I got Tequila Lime flavored peanuts.
