I took my 18 month old lab here for a bath and nail trim. He's very nervous and hates baths. I bathed him at home once and we had to re attach the toilet seat. Then we tried the bathing area at tractor supply. It was a distaster. Believe me when I say that the price for a bath and nail trim at this groomer was worth every penny and then some. They deserve all the accolades. He came home with no shedding and the best smell and so shiny and fluffy. I'm amazed at what a great job they did. They did a furminator treatment on him and I swear he lost 10 pounds in undercoat. I'm thrilled with them and with the job they did.

The staff at Papaw's Pet Paradise is very experienced. The owner groomed my dog and I couldn't believe the attention to detail and how patient she was with a 14 month old puppy. Very cute, sparkling clean shop, too!

Would give negative five stars if possible!!!!We have been loyal customers for almost 11 years.... Until today!!My two dogs had their usual grooming appointment scheduled for today AND I added a third puppy (my mom's new dog) when I made the appointment.....So to recap that's loyal customer for almost 11 years with two dogs getting groomed at least four times a year just added a third dog that would have needed grooming four times a year minimum as well.....I called to let them know I was running late today...They didn't answer when I called the first timeThe lady called me back and when I proceeded to tell her that we were on the way (I live in Franklin county pet Paradise is located in Bedford county almost to Vinton) she very rudely interrupted me and said oh no you will have to reschedule for another day.....Side note..(I called at 5 after 9:00.... drop off ended at 9:00 I was going to be there at 9:15... she called me back at 9:08 )Since I had all three dogs with me and we were already almost there I politely asked if she could do two out of the three dogs or maybe even one.....She once again very rudely said no that she "had a walk-in" Labrador and already filled my spot....Now if I had an appointment for three dogs and she had a walk in for one dog wouldn't that mean she could still take two or maybe even one??....Long story short I will never return again!!!Our three dogs have found a new groomer!!Good riddance pet paradise you never were really good at what you do anyway

But then again you could quickly google that sour patch kids and swedish fish do in fact come from the same company (Cadbury) making a slight error likely. I'm certain I'm not the first one this has happened to but I felt I could get a little karma off it

Be careful. I took one of my dogs to another groomer after PP and they could not believe how messed up my dogs coat was.It has nothing to do with ME but how poorly groomers cut a dogs coat NOT me. The groomer that did a beautiful cut shows me how it should be done and not how I was settling for sub-par cuts.

What was a great place to take your animal is now a place that talks about their customers behind their backs. If you go in don't talk to them or they will be telling people you are rude and asking for a grooming when all you asked for was toenails clipped
