Beware of bait and switch. Been to this location twice and both times advertised sales were not honored. First time sign advertised pork chops and sign was in front of chops. Would not honor because it was intended for the pork loin. ???? 2nd time sign for St. Louis style ribs. Would not honor because the ribs intended were not on the floor even though sign is in front of St Luis ribs. Was told wrong ones. Asked why sign is up them and got a shrug of shoulders. Ended up removing from order both times. Take pictures prove yourself. Still will not honor but at pay you don’t get blinded by the switch

I love shopping at Food Lion. They have a better cut of meats along with their produce than Wal-mart. Now a days you need any help with groceries Food Lion has their MVP still and we saved about $45.00 today.

Store personnel are generally friendly but in 3 of trips to the deli to get fresh sliced lunch meats, the folks were rude and not very helpful. They appeared to be bored with their jobs and not people oriented. One time I was told that I had to wait until the lady came back from her outside smoke break. Really??? Even though I live nearby, I prefer to spend the gas and travel to Harrisonburg where I can get better service and a smile.

Excellent customer service! Nice, clean store. Well organized and easy to navigate. Well stocked, and plenty of team members to help. Since I did not know the store well, the helpful staff was a huge bonus. I highly recommend this store for a quick stop, with no long lines or delays getting in/out.

Clean, decent selection of vegetables, friendly customer service, reasonable prices. Stopped in for some groceries, and was pleasantly surprised with the produce selection they had available. Another added bonus was the reasonably priced wine/beer. The cashier that helped me was polite and quick. The only drawback was the lack of meats available (ribeyes, boneless/skinless chicken thighs).

This store is my fav to get veggies and other grocery staples.the store is always clean, we'll stocked and the employees are very helpful. Several times I have needed assistance to put my groceries in my car. The cashier paged a stock person to assist me. No matter how busy they are, they are helpful to those who need outside assistance.We have super Walmart across the street, however I get the best quality food and service at Food Lion.

Inside is clean and well-stocked. Could easily find what we needed. Staff was friendly and it seemed like a comfortable atmosphere. One of the nicer Food Lions in the Rockingham area, in my opinion. And a very welcome alternative to Walmart, when you only need a few groceries.

Today my wife shopped at Timberville food Lion in Virginia in jamesway plaza.One of the cashiers Michael, was on the express lane, treated an elderly lady in front of her with great respect. Then when it was my wife's turn to be checked out he gave my wife the greeting of the day and helped her load her groceries... Some of the employees of this establishment should take pointers from Michael, Maybe even the manager.Good job Michael will continue to come back because of you.

Their prices are pretty comparable to the Walmart across the street, and the meat and produce are much better. They also recently got a pretty good craft beer section. The cashiers are always friendly, but sometimes some of them could make it a little less obvious that they don't want to be there.

It's a little bit expensive, but the grocery is fresh, you can find a lot organic things!!The staff is very friendly. They offered a card to get good offers and coupons for your next visits!!!! They have a good and comfortable parking lot

Great Staff. Helpful. Tidy. Pricing decent. In need of more Artisian, organic, and International foods. Too basic. Deli lacks sadly. Could use an Olive Bar, gourmet cheeses. Smell from the cooker not attractive in the store. Produce section limited in Organics. Display could use updating. Wine selection is generic. Food Lion could benefit from a Splash of Design & Supply Upgrade. We still support hometown store.

Prices are a tad high. Check produce well, it's either half rotten of not ripe. The meats department is the best around!! If you shop here try the blueberry turnovers. They have a great selection of food and a great mvp app. Also a good wine selection. All around it's a good place.

My visit to Timberville Food Lion on 1/5/2019 was pleasant as it always is. I like Food Lion better than Wal-Mart because it's so much easier to navigate and get in and out of. Very clean too. Cashier Daniel is always very friendly.

I like Food Lion. They have good BOGO specials that bring the prices lower than even Walmart. They have the BEST prices on soda when it’s on sale (coke 6 packs bottles 5/$10!!! Wow!) Their people are always friendly and helpful when you all them a question, which is ALWAYS nice (that’s hard to get at any Walmart that I’ve been to.)

Glad I stopped in this store! They had the brand of Cononut Almond milk I love and is very hard for me to find usually. The produce was fresh and well maintained. The store was clean and the staff nice. I was also able to find the Coke Life, with the Stevia and cane sugar I like, it was in the 6 pak of glass bottles but at least they had it.

Great customer service, quality products, not overcrowded so it's easy to get in and get what you need and get out if you're in a hurry. But, if you have the time to take, there's plenty of choices to think about when planning your next menu. Conveniently located just outside of Broadway.

Haven't been to food lion in a long time. The store has been remodeled and it looks great I found so many items and to mention the selection of fresh produce and meats I was amazed they are doing a great job keep it up food lion I will be back 😁

Food Lion is a clean grocery store and does wonders, considering just down the road is a Walmart. For the items you can't find in your local Wally World, just take a hop, skip, and a jump over to Food Lion and do your shopping there. I, understand they have remodeled since I was in there the last time.

Noticed I was charged twice the other evening after shopping.. Got in touch with the manager and they had no issue with taking my information and refunding me. Great staff and clean environment, will continue my business!
