Words cannot express how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING these people are. I have a two year old daughter who has sensory processing disorder and is on the spectrum and with their input they introduced us to and sold us an incredible puppy that fit our needs and has bonded PERFECTLY with my daughter (and me 😊) and will be trained to eventually be her service/emotional support dog. Now mind you I haven't had a puppy since I was 12 and am now 41 so it's familiar but still new ALL over again! Emily and the staff have been there for me and have taken COUNTLESS phone calls in late evening and EVEN ON CHRISTMAS MORNING to guide me and give me advice on questions I had. ABSOLUTEY UNHEARD of from ANY pet store I have EVER KNOWN! I went back to visit and buy food a few minutes before the closed with BOTH my 2 yr old baby (who was in the midst of a sensory meltdown) and my new baby, Bella, our BEAUTIFUL, BRILLIANT, WELL BEHAVED, 11 week old golden retriever who has thee best temperament and the were SO PATIENT, SO KIND as my daughter screamed and even carried the food to car for me because boy did I have my hands full! Please PLEASE listen to me when I say... if you are looking for a new addition to your family in the form of a furry friend (or even one with wings , scales 🦎, or gills 🐠) THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO GO! I honestly haven't met decent, kind, caring people with such a HUGE passion for not only animals but humans as well, EVER in my entire life. Thank you Pets-N-Pals for your expertise and professionalism, your dedication and compassion and for providing my daughter and I with our PERFECT COMPANION! (and no i wasn't paid to write this review or given a free chew toy for the puppy 😄) FIVE STARS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD!! ❤️

So pleased! I’ve always rescued grown dogs, you know, “adopt don’t buy”. That changed for me recently when I was unable to find a small breed dog at my local shelter. (I’m an older woman and can’t handle a big dog.) They wouldn’t agree to call me or put me on a waiting list for a small dog. They said, “First come, first served”. So the day I got to our local shelter at 12:02pm (2 minutes after they opened) for a posted mini-dachshund to find him already adopted, I was over it.That afternoon, my daughter and I drove to Pets-N-Pals. I was introduced to several cuties and fell in love with a floofy Cavapom!Emily was very helpful and Little Bear (formerly Toni) is a perfect little companion for me. Super friendly with visitors. And so smart! Two weeks and he’s already pad trained, going independently. He’s also learned “sit” and “leave it”! Well socialized, it’s clear his breeder cared about his pups!I recommend Pets-N-Pals for anyone wanting a healthy, happy fur-baby. Thanks!

I drove 9 1/2 hours from Indiana to get my sweet little Bichapoo! This pet shop isn’t your average pet shop. You are treated like family from the time you come in to the time you leave and even when your home with your new fur baby! They have called and checked up on us making sure we are all doing good!! I cant’t express how great I felt when I started my process of picking up my little girl! They talk to me over the phone for about 30 mins before I even got to the store about all the fur babies they had and how the process works. I was so impressed I had to go! After arriving at the store they got me settled in and we looked at so many fur babies and they talk to me about all they puppies so I’d make sure I got the puppy that was going to be the right fit for me and my family! And we got the right little girl for sure!!! She is so loving and sweet! She is a puppy so she still likes to pee on the floor sometimes and that’s ok!! She learning so fast though! She will sit, give high fives and even dance!!! She has 2 cats to play with and they love her so much that they even sleep with her! She has 4 acres to explore and she been loving that! She loves car rides and even walks! She even went shopping at boot barn! I could go on for ever about my baby and how the store is so wonderful!! You just gotta go and see them to understand that customer service is a priority for them and they want you to be sure and happy with whatever your buying! Where do I begin. I literally walked in the store just to look in on the puppies. Next thing you know I'm leving with a whole fur baby. Tiana was amazing. She was definitely heaven sent she must've known that my fur baby and I needed each other. Thank you so much and your truly appreciated.

I meant to write this review months ago! We purchased Sawyer back in October. He is the most lovable puppy EVER!! Thank you to everyone (Tiana, Jess and Annie) at Pets-N-Pals you all are AWESOME!!! The best customer service I've experienced in a long time.Sawyer is growing, spoiled and has brought extra love to our family. We cannot bring him anywhere without people stopping us to talk to him.Here are photos of him one when he was still at Pets-N-Pals before we brought him home and just over the weekend after his grooming.Thank you everyone at Pets-N-Pals! We will bring Sawyer in to see you all! :)

Just got our new baby boy “Mack” from Pets-N-Pals 3/2/24 and we couldn’t be happier! We found our 8 week old silver lab on their Facebook page and I ended up taking a 6 hour round trip to bring this boy home where he belongs! The store and staff are outstanding and have followed up with me a number of times to ensure our puppy is settling in good with us! I highly recommend any pet lover to take a visit! A big shout out to Pets-N-Pals and a huge thank you to their staff for their time and help!

If you’re thinking of getting a pet from them you should definitely do it. Good customer service, they were very friendly and their store was very clean. I got my mini labradoodle from them and I went to the vet and they said she is very healthy. They helped me select the basic things I will need as a new dog owner. Their pets are sociable and so sweet. After getting my pet from them they still checked up on me and the dog to see if the dog was doing well and adapting to the new environment. They also helped me with some suggestions cause as a first time pet owner I know nothing about animals. This is one of the best places to get your pets.

We had the best experience at pets-n-pals while meeting and then adopting our new fur baby a corgi pup: Pickles! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Answered all of our questions! They even have puppy kits! Highly recommend those with all the supplies needed for new puppy parents! We continue to go back now for puppy supplies! I can’t say enough great things about our experience at Pets-N-Pals!!

Pets-N-Pals was a great place to get our puppy from and we had a great experience! They were very thorough with everything and they followed up with us multiple times, a couple weeks after bringing our puppy home. They really cared about where their puppies went home to, which says a lot. They were very helpful with follow-up questions we had. We are super happy with our puppy and haven't had any health problems with her at all. She is a great dog! Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a new puppy to join your family!

I am in love with my puppy. OK, it was a 5 hour round trip for me to get to Pets N Pals, but they were totally worth it. I talked with multiple people before I got there, and what they did was get to know me so they could find me a puppy who fit my lifestyle and personality.As a result, my puppy and I are a good match for each other: he is perfectly happy in a condo and there is enough space for him when he gets the zoomies. He also has a laid back personality which matches my/my neighbors's needs. They even tried to find me a dog who would match my musical hobbies (yes, music soothes him!).They even sent me home with a puppy pack to help him settle in and keep interested in food during the transfer to a new home, such a stressful time for puppies, and check in to see if he is settling in successfully.My little puppy is a regular member of the clean plate club, he is a James Taylor fan, he is a very chill little man, and settles near me when I play guitar.

We got a healthy chocolate lab puppy. Wonderful staff, clean facility, and our pup adjusted very well immediately! They gave us all the paperwork we needed and answered all of our questions. Photos are from Bear’s first night home. He loves to play with the kids!

My wife and son went to this store in Staunton, VA and picked up a puppy at the start of the pandemic. Little did I know this dog would capture the hearts of everyone in the house. The BEST breed by far is a Shih-poo, and we are the very proud owners of “Toby.” And we love him to death!

Where do I begin with his wonderful company. I’ve been coming here for a little over two years for all of my pet needs. I recently bought a boa and needed several items to get everything set up the way I wanted. Tianna is always helping me and providing me with the best customer service.Overall, all of the girls are amazing. It’s sad that I don’t know all of their names but I know the owner and she is phenomenal. She is constantly going out of her way to make sure she meets all your needs before you leave the store. You would think all the workers were related somehow with how well they get along and how well they work with each other and with customers.This is a one stop shop for any of your pets. They have all kinds of animals here, including birds, reptiles, fish, DOGS (really cool dogs).I recommend him I would give them more than five stars if I could they are phenomenal.

What a gem i found in Pets-N-Pals. The Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. They helped my family find the perfect fur baby. Their passion for animals is apparent. I loved how they have followed up with us to ensure our new puppy is adjusting well and thriving. I will gladly make the hour and a half drive when I'm ready to start my aquarium.

We love our Shorkie Phillip! He is such a sweet puppy, he has been very easy to train and socialize because they do such a good job doing that at Pets N Pals. He came microchipped and up to date with all his vaccines :) A great experience!

I loved my overall experience. The owner was very helpful throughout my whole process in finding the perfect dog for me. I went to get 1 dog and we came out with 3! The dogs are very happy. Mack, Brody & Sammie (Now named Kobe) are all so happy in their new home.

We adopted sweet Joey a week ago and could not be happier with our experience! Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful from the first phone call to after bringing him home. He is the perfect addition to our family and I would not hesitate to adopt any type of pet from Pets N Pals!So we returned to Pets n Pals this year to purchase 2 baby Guinea pig’s. They are so sweet and the cutest personalities!We returned again a couple of months after that and took home another cavachon! We love him so much!

As a first-time dog owner, I can say my experience with Pets-N-Pals made me feel at ease due to how amazing they were.  I’ve been in search for a male Maltese or Maltipoo for years but unfortunately was unlucky, especially during the pandemic.  I discovered Pets-N-Pals while conducting my one millionth search for that breed.  I called to inquire about a Maltese named Maximus, I saw.  In the picture he was just what I envisioned.  I noticed he was there for quite some time and inquired as to why.  Emily, the manager, told me he was very hyper and that could be the reason he was unable to find a home at the time.  While I was on the phone with her she told me there was a Teddy Bear (Shih-Tzu mixed with a Bichon Frise) that would be a great fit for me.  Me, thinking I knew what I wanted, told her, “No, I want my Maltese/Maltipoo.”I drove to see Maximus and he was extremely hyper; though he was the exact breed I’ve wanted for years; he unfortunately wasn’t a match for my lifestyle and personality.  Bethany, the General Manager, had me try to make a connection with a Cavapoo.  He was cute but again, I didn’t feel a connection.  Here comes Emily suggesting for me to hold the Teddy Bear.  I told her I wasn’t interested, and I’d rather wait for a Maltese or Maltipoo.  So she comes out with this puppy and again suggests I hold her.  I reluctantly held her and immediately felt a connection and in love.  Next thing I knew, I’m a whole puppy owner to a beautiful Teddy Bear puppy I named NouNou (formerly known as Petunia).  My family were never pet owners and never wanted them; let me tell you, everyone has fallen in love with NouNou!  If you’re having a bad day, she just strolls in and immediately brightens up your day.Emily and Bethany were phenomenal!  Emily was very knowledgeable and patient with my inquiries and concerns; and trust me, as a first-time puppy owner, I had so many questions and called the store countless times.  I’d like to say Emily is a great matchmaker!  For her to know over phone calls that a Teddy Bear would be the perfect fit for me is truly amazing.  Working with the entire staff was rather pleasant.  You can feel the love in there amongst the staff.  Another thing I noticed was the store was well kept and didn’t have any bad odors.  I’ve been to other pet stores where it had unpleasant odors.The one thing that was a con for me was they don’t do email.  I’m huge on email so I can reference back and because I work a lot and don’t have time to be on the phone.  So having to call them with my inquiries versus emailing was a con for me.  But they mentioned to me it’s mostly due to the high volume of messages they’ll receive and not enough time to answer.  They do call and text you a few days after your purchase to see how you’re doing and how the puppy is getting acclimated to the new environment.  They answer all your questions with patience and compassion.  Overall, I had a great experience with them and highly recommend them.UPDATE-Just wanted to share pictures of my baby girl I got from Pets-N-Pals <3

This was my first experience adopting a new baby because I was given a few pets in the past...however, this was the best ever.... The staff was patient, each one of them and very friendly. I knew what I wanted and they accommodated the best way possible. The store was clean and pleasing to the eyes. No bad smell or nothing of what you may expect walking into a pet store. I am very happy and look forward to associating with them again.

This is the best pet/pet supply store I’ve ever been to. They have anything you could need for your pets, from dogs, cats, fish, ferrets, reptiles & hermit crabs. Not to mention a good selection of pets as well!! Even if you’re not in the market to buy, you will be so entertained looking around and can hang with the store cat!!!!! The staff were all super friendly and patient. Our new puppy, Max, was well taken care of and they let us spend the time with him to get to know him. I was surprised and pleased with their follow up after we brought him home to make sure everything was going well. I would recommend getting a puppy from this shop.
