Got my 2 wild child cats spayed and rabies shots for 200.00$. There was a very long line for pick up as they had over-scheduled for the day. So we didn't get animals back til after 1800.

I got my dog spayed here. They have really affordable spay and neuter services here. Pick up and drop off were smooth and simple. I dropped my dog off early in the day and picked her up in the afternoon. The one thing I didn't like is that they put a permanent green tattoo just below the incision on my dog's belly. And they did not warn me about this at all before the procedure. I would have loved to request that they not do this, because my dogs fur is very short and now she just has a weird green tattoo on her stomach forever that I did not consent to. (It's on her stomach above the large brown spots in the photo.) Even if the tattoo is somehow company policy, they should at least warn owners beforehand.

My daughter and son in law adopted 2 young girls this year Venus and Whitford ( who now Winnie) and they are awesome.. better to adopt then shop.

Got our pet in and out within 2 hours! Scheduling was quick and painless and he recovered swiftly! Staff were very sweet to him as well 🐶

We got our amazing pup from them. I was afraid the adoption process would take awhile but it didn’t. We did application one night and the next day got a call to set up appointment. We fell in love with poppy and got to take her home that day. We are very happy with SPCA of Augusta County. Thank you for our fur baby.

Very bad experience. We went to unfortunately surrender a kitten and the woman that helped us was super rude and short. She wouldn’t even let us in the building to fill out the paperwork. It wasn’t exactly a joyous occasion for us and they just made it worse. Awful.

Great place to get an animal that you want to have in your home! They also have a spay and neuter clinic, and you can get vaccines there as well. Look them up online my Bruno came from there 5 years ago and I love having him in my house.

If you're going for spay/neuter, call that clinic directly. They're great. Cat's cradle can offer an additional discount if you get a referral sent to this SPCA.This SPCA's general line has a rude person that answers the phone and makes stuff up about the spay/neuter services.

I have been visiting the shelter on a regular basis (meaning at least every two months) for around 3 years and It has always been a clean and friendly environment . I have only run into one rude female staff member and she was not there long . I think my favorite thing about visiting this shelter is seeing dogs from over crowded out of state facilities finding homes in our local area . The furry kids here are so clean and healthy it really is a great place.I hope to be able to adopt soon !

Highest praise for the dedicated staff at the spay/neuter clinic. Not only do they provide excellent surgical services, they are so loving to the animals, and so kind to the owners!I will never forget seeing one of the techs, who had worked a very long day, patiently and tenderly holding a feral cat until she awoke from anesthesia.How lucky we are to have this clinic!

The clinic spayed my little rescue jrt for a very small price. They did a great job, and were gentle and kind to her. She is a puppy mill pup and was terrified of people.My sister also had her dog spayed there and it was a great experience for her too. We were very impressed with the clinic. They genuinely CARE!

Nice clean place, wife went to get a puppy took 3 and half hours for them to be approved and ready to go and told have to wait a week + they will call when its clipped and ready. Staff was nice and place is very clean and as comfortable as can be for what it is. It's $175 a bit more then other Spca places. We got our previous dog in 2006 here it got old and passed, that was about the same experience except it cost half and the wait to approve was only about 20min. Get the approval streamlined and it will be a much more enjoyable experience.

Took my baby to get neutered today, all spay and nueter clinic staff are very nice and very patient. Excellent service, a wide variety of options to choose from when your pet is having a procedure. Very low priced considering the original vet i was going to take him to wanted 300. I've been in the shelter before and all staff members but one are very nice and easy going.

We recently adopted a wonderful Jack Russell female. Her name is Bella. She is the perfect companion to our dachsund, Minnie. This shelter is well staffed with caring folks. The facility is super clean! Please come see them when you're ready to adopt a new family member. I'm sure you will be impressed.

DO NOT GO HERE!! My boyfriend and I had a VERY bad experience with this place. My boyfriend found a dog he wanted to adopt and gift to me for the Christmas holiday. He paid for the dog and was told the dog would be ready in a week. They never mentioned they were a “first come first serve” place ESPECIALLY since you are paying for the dog initially how can someone come get the dog you paid for? Makes no sense. So due to him missing their phone call they gave the dog away. Of course they refunded him, but the way that they operate should’ve been explained from the beginning. Thank goodness I am not a kid who was set on a dog and I expected to have it.....b/c I would be beyond hurt. It is still very upsetting especially when you prepare for a dog to come home with you and it’s just given away. Also my boyfriend stated the lady at the front desk was not remorseful AT ALL. We will never recommend this place. Get a better staff and a better system.Example: Like do NOT advertise the dog until they are TOTALLY dewormed then the dog would be ready immediately. There would be no in between time for someone else to snatch them.😒

They are the best option for Spay and Neuters!!! Very low cost, very professional, they get rid of fleas for $10, very nice people, the incisions are MUCH smaller [like 1/2 to quarter] the size of spay incisions from a vet that will cost 3x as much. They do it all day every day so you know they know what they are going.

I have a group of feral cats that started 4 years ago from someone dropping off a pregnant cat. 12 cats later we have a large group of cats to take care of. It was suggested to take the cats to this SPCA location for fixing/rabies shots, etc. The people that work at the spay/neuter clinic are great. They are very friendly & helpful. It would be difficult to take a animal to a regular vet after seeing the difference in prices. It was astonishing to say the least. Please check out this facility & see for yourself. The drop off & pick up are a bit different but well worth it.
