I am so glad I found this place. It's a 40 minute drive 1 way for me and worth it! Our pup gets structured play and socialization. When he needs grooming they do a great job as well. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Of the places I've boarded my dogs, this one is definitely the best! I tried another place before because it was a bit cheaper, and my dog was so anxious and ready to leave. At D.O.G.'s Daycare and Spa ALL the dogs I've had stay there have just been super happy and were very well taken care of. Needless to say, I have remained a customer of D.O.G.'s because I do feel comfortable leaving my dogs with them. I drive out of my way to board my dogs here. I highly recommend their services!

Love this place! We are new to the area and our babies needed a grooming. I made an appointment for daycare and grooming. Unfortunately, I mistakenly took them on the wrong day. The staff still took excellent care of them and let them have tons of fun in daycare. Definitely recommend them!

My dogs had there first stay @ D.O.G's Daycare this past weekend. The Staff was very friendly. They even gave me a call just to let me know how my fur babies 1st day went.When I picked up on Monday, my Dogs appeared very happy and content. Like they had a good stay.I will definitely be using them my all my Dogs needs.

We love D.O.G.’S! Our dog has a blast every time he goes. They treat him like he’s family and we always feel so comfortable leaving him there for daycare or overnight boarding. We cannot say enough great things. 10/10 recommend!

They are so friendly and Zoey loved going there. What I liked the most is if we have to border her overnight or for a longer time, she won't be stuck in the kennel the whole time. She can go out and interact with the other dogs.

Friendly staff and plenty of services. My dogs come home happy and clean or groomed when we select the optional services. On weekends you must drop off from your car AT 6:30am and pickup from your car AT 4:00pm which might be inconvenient for some. This is an edit to my previous review. Owner makes valid points in her response so I upgraded my rating and removed my personal opinions regarding the weekend hours. Aaron.

Such an awesome place for my dogs! They come home tired whether it’s from boarding or daycare and you can tell how excited they are when they walk through the door first thing in the morning. Prices are very reasonable and the way they react to the staff tells me all I need to know about how well they’re taken care of. I get to see cute videos and pictures on their Facebook page when they’re away and they go above and beyond to make sure they communicate any issues your pets may be having. My dogs had some loose stool during their stay and they called me about the issue and we worked together to get a game plan going, within a few days it had cleared up (if it didn’t they did offer to take them to the vet if it got to that point). I know when they have upset stomachs at home it includes A LOT of baths and they both came home clean (very excited mom). You’ll meet all of the staff at some point during your pets visits and they’re all personable and welcoming. I couldn’t ask for more!

By far the best experience for my dog and myself. Atmosphere is very calm and professional. Stacey treats my dog as one of her own and very particular with her grooming. I am always at ease knowing he is in her care and she communicates with me throughout the day of how he is doing and our expected pick up time. She doesn’t just groom him but she takes her time with specific cuts and standards of his breed. It’s truly a different experience compared to other places I have been. When I pick up never once has he seemed stressed but that his time was enjoyable and handsome as ever!!! Thank you all for taking care of my baby.

I hate leaving bad reviews but, I felt this was important. The cut on my dogs was fine. My issue was with the owner? Manager? Not sure who she was because she didn’t introduce herself (I was a new client) or even smile! She wasn’t wearing a mask, even though they said they do and she was plain old rude! I was very nice and tried to talk to her but, she wanted nothing to do with me. I’m looking for another grooming shop sadly. Customer service is very important.

We've used dogs since March 2020 when we rescued our pitbull Bailey. She loves going to doggy daycare and we have boarded her a couple times. Grooming services are great and our girl always comes home looking + smelling her best. Great service and most of all our pup loves it and is always super excited when we pull up.

We have gone there quite a few times with our two golden retrievers. Stacy does a beautiful job, they are all very nice and professional. I think the prices are good in comparison to other groomers. The property is safe from the front gate to the run. It is clean and well ran. I couldn't be happier! If I was not impressed, I would never drive across the James River Bridge, but it's worth it to me!

Libby Belle, our family’s pitbull, is our whole world. Since our children grew up and left home, Libby is the only company my wife and I have. To say she is spoiled would be the understatement of the century!!! Libby is naturally a precocious and very active four year old pup! That being said, my dog is NEVER… I repeat, NEVER… as content, happy, stimulated, and exuberant as when she has had a day of daycare at D.O.G.’s!!! She comes home each time with a smile that couldn’t be wiped off her face if you tried! The very mention of going to “Daycare” makes her literally wiggle her butt and jump in circles. There are very few businesses that I would trust with my family’s best friend…D.O.G.’s is at the very top of that list!!!

I contacted this place while in transition to moving back to the area and was pleasantly surprised how much Vicki communicated about rates, necessary documents etc. upon arrival she greeted me with a smile and professionalism. My dog is a Tripawd Lab Mix rescue who is in love with this place. She comes home happy but tired( so we know she is playing hard). My pup loves everyone but when she lays on her back to get rubs I know she loves her care takers. She doesn’t do that without comfortability of her surroundings. She is so excited to come play I can hardly get her to listen to proper commands and behave. I am always worried about her well being because of her traumatic start, but I have confidence in just the last month and a half we have been coming place is the right choice. Thank you D. O. G. S.

We love the convenience of bathing our pup in safe, clean environment and then having her nails trimmed. It used to be a stressful experience for us when we did it ourselves as she would fuss and pull away. The groomer's are professionals and very kind so Zoe is put at ease right away.

Both of my dogs just LOVE to go to D.O.G.S! They get groomed there (I have a Bichon and a Shih Tzu Yorkie mix...the are just beautiful!) and they have boarded there. Usually if our dogs go somewhere they are apprehensive when we get there, but when they get to DOGS, they are so excited and happy!

We have used this place several times. The staff is nice, flexible, and the hours are convenient. The first time we used them our one dog got horrible diarrhea we had to take her to the vet for meds because it didn't resolve on it's own. The second time we boarded our dogs our one dog ended up with a horrible eye infection. We had to take her to the vet for meds once again to treat whatever was going on. We boarded our dogs two more times no issues. This last time we boarded our dogs Aug 2017, the staff waited until the day, the moment my husband walked in the door and dropped them off and said "people have been calling reporting their dogs have kennel cough after boarding here". Had we known that ahead of time we WOULD NOT have boarded them there, I would have found someone else to watch them. Two hours before we were getting on the road to drive cross country left us with no other options. What other options do you have with this type of notice? We ended up boarding our dogs for a week and the day after we got home one of our dogs was showing signs n symptoms of kennel cough. Once again we had to take our dog to the vet for meds. Luckily it's not kennel cough, it's a string of canine influenza but it cost $100 in vet costs. Morale of the story... 3 strikes DOG day spa is out!!
