Stopped by the local Dollar General looking for a swim vest for my son. I know it was going to be a long shot, but I had to take a chance they would have it in stock. SCORE! Walked around for a few minutes before getting to the kids swim accessories isle, and there it was a swim vest for a toddler. I was SO happy! The store was well stocked, and the employees were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a little bit of any/everything check out your local Dollar General, I’m sure they have what you need.

It's the cleanest dollar general I've ever been inside. Only a few restocking boxes left out but you can easily walk up & down aisles. Service isn't fast but this is a small town and everyone seemed to strike up a conversation with the cashier.

Easy access for wheelchair easy to see from the street has your basic household goods school or office supplies clothing junk food beer and sodas makeup and hair supplies it has miscellaneous items quick get in and get out shopping not sure if it has a public restroom

I pass a few DG as we head to our place at the river just so I can shop this particular one. I've told others at the river of how nice this store is and the feed back I get back is always great. This looks like a larger store than most. It is always nice and neat. My husband went in with me tonight and couldn't believe how orderly, clean, well lite,and so organized. Everything was in it's place. Even the clothing, toy and seasonal lanes were neat. The items for sale outside were organized and neat. Can't believe that a store this size can remain this way on each visit. If the employees can take care of this store the way they do(take pride evidently in what they do and appreciate their job) because the stores in Prince George, Disputanta, Waverly to name a few are totally opposite. Clothes on the floor ,hanging partially on racks, laying in other dept..Inventory in lanes. Dept. Partially empty.To be honest items on floors and looks like someone has taken a stick and messed up the merchandise. Not clean, unorganized!If this store can keep it as nice as they do why can't others????? Really like shopping DG but I've seen some thirft shops neater than the other stores I mentioned.Congrats to all the employees at this store!!!

I went to the Dollar General in Salida. There was a cashier who had one arm in a sling. She was very sarcastic. And when I told her about it she just brushed me off like she didn't give a damn what I thought. If she doesn't like her job she should quit.

It's a dollar store, seen one seen them all. Staff is friendly and helpful and there is stuff to buy.. can't really complain about a normal trip the the local DG

They don't pay well enough to hire people that care about stocking things. Always very chaotic in the isles and may or may not be able to find something you need. God help you if you do because you will inevitably have to wait for the single cashier to ring up the seven people ahead of you.

Both men's and women's bathroom are out of order line with over ten people and only one person working. How do the employees use the bathroom this should be unacceptable for any company
