this is easily my favorite target i have ever been to. this target is huge, with not only the normal aspects and sections of target, but they also have the grocery part! they have expanded their store a lot over the past year or so and the selection they offer now is impeccable. i go to this store often and it is always clean and organized, and the staff is extremely helpful and sweet.

In general I always enjoy shopping at this particular Target store. It doesn't have as large a selection as some other Targets but it is usually way less crowded and always clean. The customer service desk is knowlegeable and returns are very quick and easy. My issue lately is that when I have gone there the self check out is closed. This is very frustrating when not many lanes are open in general and you are stuck still in line waiting for just a few items when before I would already be leaving. I asked the cashier in my lane but he said he did not know what was going on but was also frustrated by the self check out being closed. Certainly not his fault. I will continue to shop at Target I'm sure but if this is a new permanent change I will think twice before shopping in store. ( Although my last 2 online purchases have been several days late)

Self check out is never available anymore in the mornings, so I have to use a regular checkout line. Tell me why these guys won't even bag my groceries for me. If I have to use a line and interact with someone who is being paid to work, why do I have to bag my own things?! This isn't Aldi.

I don't come here often but when I do FORTUNATELY I can find the items I need. I always recommend using the Target app to find stuff in the store. Yes it's a little more effort but it's a great self-service options for those in the reviews that have had a hard time with the staff here.

Bought some AirPods here, and the workers had to get them from the back. They were so efficient and quick to get them that it took <5 minutes at the most. I was honestly shocked at how fast he came back— He nearly scared me!

Easy ordering on line and easy pickup at the store. Contact with the store associate was very nice. She retrieved my order quickly and I was out of the store in less than 10 minutes.

Newly renovated store, very clean & organized even during renovations. Now has a grocery section with popular items. Fewer manned registers, however, but adequate space for waiting in line @ self checkout. Renovations make store seem new & modern. Sh

I have been a customer of target since I was around 7 or 8. However target feels more like Walmart now. Due to customer experience I would not return for anything more that just toys for my daughter. If you care anything about your shopping experience I would say this location is not desirable.

This place is a MESS during construction. Impossible to find anything and the employees seem overworked. Skip it and go to a different Target.

I love Target as I’m sure many do. The one by my house always has what I come in looking for. And I did a return and I know part of what makes returns easy is having your receipt which I had. So the process took 2 min and then I was done. I was in and out in no time.

Went shopping at this Target and I couldn't find anything that I needed. I found this amazing employee her name was Janet. She went above and beyond to make sure I was set with everything I needed. Now everytime I go to this Target I look for her when I need help. She's helpful and friendly definitely a plus. She also helped with my son that was crying the whole time I was there. By the time I left the store my son wasn't crying.

I agree with the previous comment about drive up orders. I sat in my car for quite a while before calling to find out they don’t bring out orders during thunderstorms. However, at the time there was no thunder or rain, just a slight threat. If the weather was that bad I wouldn’t have even bothered to come out myself, let alone expect someone to bring bags out to my car. They have just redone the parking spaces and a notice under the numbers that drive up may be unavailable during inclement weather would suffice. Or even better, they could state that information on the notification when the order is ready because I would not have chosen drive up if I wanted to go inside!

Brie politely explained my options when my online order had been canceled because I fail to pick the item up by the cutoff date. She not only guided me through the process but her enthusiasm and positive attitude was enriching. A positive attitude is something every employer looks for! Brie definitely showed her great attitude isn't limited to the interview room or to her superiors but when obstacles, challenges or situations arise In the workplace she is positively and enthusiastically capable of navigating through the process!

When there are thunder/lightning storms I understand that it is a liability to allow employees to go outside to bring drive up items to customers. However, the system does not allow for employees to call customers to inform them. I sat outside in my car for close to 30 minutes. This is not Walmart but I felt like it was total Walmart behavior to have a customer sit outside for that long and not have a way to communicate with us. The system must be fixed.

Went to pick up my order, I had ordered a cleaner and a dog toy which were put in the same bag. The cleaner than spilled everywhere in my car and all over the toy. When I called the store they refused to issue a refund over the phone even though it was their mistake. Very disappointed with the customer service and now I’m out the money, the products and have to clean the cleaner out of my car.

The best customer service. Dutchess was extremely helpful and super sweet :). Also I have to add Amanda at the Starbucks is phenomenal ❤️🙌🏾!!!! Mrs Jean was also very sweet and had great service!!!

I felt like I was shopping at Kmart. The store was a mess with clothes on the floor and stuff everywhere. Empty stock boxes cluttered the aisle. I nearly fell after tripping over clothes on the floor. The guy at self checkout was terrific though, and I managed to find some things that I needed.

Worst target I've ever been to. First off disorganized and messy. The flooring is coming up in one section and multiple areas of wide open space with no product. To make matters worse one self checkout line open and self checkout is the only other option. That line is to the back of the store. I've never been in a target that looks this run down and raggedy. I'm walking out and 2 workers are sitting g at the front while I wait in line for 10 min. This store branch won't be open long

Deceitful marketing practices! I was there 2 weeks ago and the price of Tazo Chai tea was $2.89. Normally it is $2.99. Today's price was $3.09. If they had simply raised the price, no problem. I understand that prices go up. HOWEVER, they raised the price and added a sticker that says 'new lower price.' That is a LIE!Updated 6/6/18 - And they continue to LIE! A month later (6/6/18) the price is up to $3.29 and the shelf tag says "new lower prices."

This has been my favorite target for quite some time. Although they’re going through changes, I still enjoy visiting this location. However, today I had an encounter with an employee, who I’m assuming is the manager, that was so uncalled for. This woman was an older black lady with very curly hair. I was looking for something that was claimed to be in stock on the app, I approached her to ask about the item and she snaps at me immediately. She says “you can’t use the website. Look at our store.. do it look like-“ and that’s where I just told her nevermind, I didn’t need her assistance since I was bothering her so much by asking a simple question about their stock. Everyone else is so nice, but she has changed my perspective during this visit with such a disgusting attitude.

Went in for flea treatment for the dog. They were out of everything except for 90 lb and up. Zero open registers, only self checkout. I left empty-handed.

I went to this target location a couple days ago and one of the employees (not wearing a name tag unfortunately but she was a woman in her 50s-60s) was extremely rude to me. I was looking for a specific product and when I went on the aisle there were boxes strewn all over the place. I was looking around trying to find what I needed and the employee came bounding down the aisle and made a rude comment about me digging in the boxes (which in reality I had not laid a hand on.) I told her I wasn’t looking through them, and told her what I was trying to find. She rolled her eyes at me and said “mmmmhmmmm” sarcastically and then walked away. Her attitude was uncalled for and made me not want to visit this location again. Richmond has plenty of better targets with more pleasant customer service.
