The cashier was being extra difficult when I was using an LRO account. I gave her the work number, place, company name and, my name and after that she said I have to give her an email address and I said I never used one before on any of my other trips so, I called my manager and the cashier lied and said I didn't have all the info to give her after I had just given it to her smh.

$40 shovel, blade breaks. Says Kobalt and/or their “K” logo on it at least 3 times between the blade and handle. Also has a lifetime warranty, so I try to exchange it for another shovel (and to purchase $300+ of other items). I get that it says I need the receipt, but come on, it’s clearly your shovel and your app doesn’t hold receipts past two years. Corporate can search back 5 years, but I need the shovel today, not next month. So I try to exchange it anyways, but I’m immediately given a hassle and asked questions to the point they can’t return it because I could have bought it already damaged from a flea market. I don’t have time to go to flea markets, let alone argue over this. Besides it sounds like this is a common occurrence if that’s their excuse and so they must have a lot of damaged Kobalt products. I used to spend roughly $10-20k a year here, but not anymore. That’s cool, I’ll just go spend my money at the orange store from now on.

Lots of stuff and a huge parking lot. The people that work here are very nice. But if you need to find a floor person to help you with a specialty item or to find out where something is located, that's a problem.There is usually only one cash register open. So prepare to do self checkout. That's not a problem unless you have a big cart with lots of construction materials on it that's awkward to navigate through the self checkout. Otherwise be prepared to wait.

It's Lowe's. They have most of what you need, including Christmas Trees in September. There are, however, NO humans to take your money, so when given the opportunity, I tend to use Home Depot.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the help and patience of Katie, Jessica, and Ben at the Lowes on Sheila Lane. I had a washer and dryer delivered on 2/10 after 2 weeks of being without them. Upon delivery, it was discovered that the associate selected the incorrect cord and due to deliveries being behind, the crew was unable to return with the correct cord. Katie took the time to listen to my situation and try her hardest to have the crew return as soon as possible. I spoke with Jessica in reference to obtaining the correct cord and connecting it myself. She was very supportive. I also spoke with Ben briefly ensuring the I connected everything correctly. These 3 individuals made a situation that could have been awful, very pleasant.

I am writing so that no one will have to go through what I went through in ordering cabinets from Lowe's. I placed my order on December 22nd and it was to have been delivered on January 5th. However, no delivery occurred and no contact between Lowe's in myself occurred either. I finally got delivery on January 7th. At that time it was discovered one of the cabinets was damaged beyond use. The replacement for that cabinet was just delivered, and that one was damaged as well. Please know, that I have spoken with numerous Lowe's employees and I'm extremely happy with their customer service professionalism and attitude. However, lowe's is using a third party delivery company and they are terrible. From now on any major purposes purchases that need delivery will be made at Home Depot.Billy SwannSo apparently someone at Lowe's replied to my complaint. They suggested that I call the number below and they would look into it. Just another example of how inept Lowe's has become. I called the number and it was basic customer service, voicemail system. As a further example, my countertop order was to be delivered at the beginning of February. I was in Lowe's yesterday and inquired us to status. I was told the order was going to be delivered today. No one, absolutely no one, contacted me. As of right now the order is supposed to be delivered this afternoon. I am highly suspicious of the condition that it will arrive in. I will report back once it has been delivered.

Checkout is so slow here you can leave, find your items at Walmart next door instead, pay, and you’ll still beat the person that was in front of you at Lowe’s out the parking lot. Just unacceptable levels of incompetence and neglect.

Bought paint for my outdoor shed. Guy switched brands for better color outcome without yelling me. Price was higher but I did like the look on my shed. Prefer to know beforehand though if choosing to do this to avoid that shock at the register feeling.

I always hate having to go here. The employees know nothing about what they sell. I could not believe that in a home improvement store I could not find an employee who had a tape measure. So, I could measure the studs to make sure they were 8 feet, because all the studs were mixed up together. So unorganized.

The paint department in this store is ridiculous. I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes. There were 3 associates in the department at the time and NONE of them saw me at the counter in front of the paint department. At one point I was the only one in the section and the THREE ASSOCIATES still refused to help ONE. CUSTOMER! You all lost a customer permanently because of the people in the picture. I am a painter so imagine how much money you all will have lost in the future. Fire them and do better.

This review is for the employees and general manager at this store. I have had great customer service experiences from the team at this store. Mia and Rith were very helpful. They and the other store members that assisted me were knowledgeable and friendly. This is not the store that is closest to home but it's the one I prefer. My rating was based on the service and personal attention I got from the staff.

I’m not satisfied with the service I received today, there was this guy with a beard his name starts with an “R” he looked hispanic, the issue i had is that a Dakota girl and this guy were talking inappropriate, I heard them saying intimate things that shouldn’t be said in your job, if you have a relationship with your coworker keep it for you but keep it professional not talk about how good he does it to you and what you guys will do tonight that is NOT OK! Respect your customers.

What a shame that such a great store has such poor quality employees working there, the associate Arturo was there but didn’t help at all, constantly checking his phone, didn’t even know where the things I was looking for where located, had to literally ask him to pay me attention while he was on his phone. I won’t ever go back to this store. I hope corporate sees this and takes action.

My partner and I went with Lowe's to replace all of our windows, but decided we wanted to do it in stages. Our contact was Stephen Belcher and he made it very clear that earning our business was not a priority since we weren't buying all of our windows upfront or on credit.The first round of windows we ordered took 2-3 months to arrive and during that period the only time we received information on where things were at was when we reached out to him. When we'd hear back the updates would be along the lines of "Spoke with the installer earlier this week and he will be calling you sometime." – reaching out to us proactively never seemed to occur to Steve.Now we've decided to use someone else to finish the job since the experience with Lowe's was so lackluster. If you have all of the funds needed for your project or are willing to take on debt via their credit offerings, you will probably be fine. If you are looking for an ongoing relationship to help fix your home over time, good luck getting Lowe's to help take care of your project.

The customer service was terrible! Standing next in line, the contractor side, an employee complains under his breath about blocking the isle while the cashier is yelling to hurry up because I didn't want to block the isle. Also, I needed a cart, which was hard to find in the store. Then the only one I could find was broken. Ha, as I looked at the others that customers were using, they were broken too. Hilarious! But this store isn't the only one that offers bad service. I as well as others have recieved bad service. Almost all the Lowe's stores have bad service. Home Depot, here I come.

man I love walking inside of Lowes and seeing the huge selection and variety of STUFF. from Lumber to trash can liners. I went to purchase moving 📦 boxes and of course everything for moving was all in the same isle. on my way out they had a sale on ZEP(.49c) Cleaning supplies. I grabbed a bottle to use for cleaning the apartment after moving out and to wipe down in the new one before moving in

I ordered a grill June 2023 and elected to have it delivered on July 3rd. I received a call the morning of July 3rd from the store notifying me that the grill was not in stock and I wouldn’t be receiving my grill. After calling every other Lowe’s in Richmond I discovered that, although this particular grill showed up in every stores system as in stock, it was in fact not in stock. I called the store on Sheila lane back and they told me they had a floor model but it had a cracked ceramic plate. I declined their offer and ordered another grill to be delivered as soon as possible, which was July 14th. The grill arrived today fully assembled with a cracked ceramic plate.

I had help with a employee getting items from top of the shelf; I bought 2 toilets, asked for help to get in my car. I waited over 20 minutes, before a passerby assisted me. Representative (cashier) didn't know how to get someone to help at my vehicle. I'll try Home Depot next time.

Had just what I needed and actually found staff just around the corner from me multiple times who pointed me exactly to where I needed to go. As an aside, there’s an old guy here (didn’t catch his name) who needs to just retire. Maybe he was having an off night, but I watched him be mean to multiple customers.One was another older gentleman who he kept telling he couldn’t help him look for pipes in the plumbing aisle. He didn’t know how to look on the pipes to see how big they were. Instead of being helpful, the employee said “well you’re the one who brought the pipes in, how do you expect me to read them?”Just after that, a family came through the aisle with 3 young kids. The parents were obviously discussing something while the kids stuck close by but were a bit loud. At first he yells directly at the kids and says “these two old geezers can’t hear each other.” Once he was done with pipe guy, he told them to put stuff back that they were carrying, assuming they took it off the shelves and didn’t put it back. He then looped back multiple times and told the kids to stop running, which they weren’t. The dad finally noticed what was going on and scoffed that they weren’t running or doing anything wrong, which again they were not. They were being kids in a big empty store, but not disrespectful or unsafe by any means.They left my aisle but eventually I heard them in the next aisle over arguing with the old man again. Dude just could not let it go. I went over there and told him to stop bothering them with nonsense. It’s a store, not a church; they’re little kids, stop expecting them to act like adults. He complained again that they were leaving things on the ground everywhere but I pointed out that both aisles they had been in were clear. He eventually dropped it but only after I confronted him over his ridiculousness. A bummer that an otherwise positive experience with this store was overshadowed by such appalling lack of customer service or social awareness.

I ordered a shower door for installation well over a month ago. The door is fully paid for and their installation contractor has ignored my messages and calls. Jerry stood me up for 4 hours without notice. Lowes needs to hire out to people who will perform the work and not screw over their customers.
