I don’t even know with what to begin!!!!Yesterday I talked to employees and customers service employee if I can buy this card prepaid and pay billsYes yes you can do thatNext thing I know spending hours with insurance company and everything is ok only problem they do not expect that card I got from KrogerI went to atm no moneyI went back to Kroger and the lady was telling me she is the manager and she can’t do anything and gave me 75 centsWhat in the world??Oooo she also said go buy groceriesCan you imagine???That is disgusting customer service I ever seen in my lifeI left my card with 100 $ and 75 cents she gave me I don’t freaking know for what???Shame on you people

This Kroger is the worst. I only come here because it’s closest, but from now on I’m going to the Ridgefield location. They never want to have a cashier open. They always try and send you to self check out even with a cart full of stuff. The place always stinks. The employees are rude. Trust me and just go to Ridgefield. They complain they are short staffed but if they actually hired enough workers to work then it would relieve the pressure and people wouldn’t call out. They aren’t short staffed they just aren’t hiring the help it takes to run a store smh they also sold me rotten meat and then when I tried to return it they would not give me my full refund back. Shop elsewhere.

This place needs to be torn down and start from scratch - including the employees. They are pretty useless (if you can find one) with the exception of the older employees who have been at this location forever. Store is filthy. Teenage employees are too busy looking at their phones. All too lazy to help you find something. Poorly stocked - just bought some hamburger that had expired 5 days prior. Unsanitary at best.

I hate this store so much. It's the only one that I go to that doesn't update the sale tags on Wednesday mornings, so every single tag in the store has the wrong price on it when I go on Wednesday afternoons, and then I get a major headache trying to figure out on my phone how much things cost and whether the cereal I'm looking at on my phone is the same one on the shelf. The crazy thing is that the other Krogers can manage to update their tags earlier in the sale.

bro, i get off work late every night and need groceries sometimes. god forbid i come in 30 minutes before their hilariously early closing time of 10 PM. every other employee you pass by will remind you of what time it is. don't even get me started on the employees that smoke cigarettes 15 feet outside of the store entrance. the customer service desk is closed a whole hour before store closing as well, it is kind of absurd.at least Josh is a nice guy though!

Ever since the remodel this location has really gone down hill. The store looks very clustered and normally I find it messy(stuff on the floor, shelves stocked poorly). The workers are usually very rude, normally the older ones while the younger ones look like it’s their first day. You can’t find anything anymore, I had to walk to the ice cream aisle to get trash bags when all cleaning supplies used to be in one aisle. They have a lot of people come to this location, I don’t know why the higher ups wanted to do such a drastic change, I’ve heard so many customers say they can’t find anything. I’ve started shopping at the food lion down the road because of this, at least I can find my groceries there and not have an almost 2 hour shopping trip…

Baskets were disgusting, carts weren't much better. The aisle with oils had a rancid odor making it unbearable. The Kroger brand deli meats were hanging and excreting juices dripping on the others. It felt gross in there overall

This location is consistently out of stock in every category throughout the store. Regardless of the day of the week there are always gaping holes on the shelves. I’ve never visited another Kroger in OH, WV, or VA that has this much OOS. Not worth waisting a visit to only find that this store only has 1/2 of the items on your shopping list.

Unfortunately for me, because it is so close to my home, it's where I run to pick up things when I need them quickly.This review is based on multiple visits over the past several months.Shelves are often not well stocked (even of items other stores have - so this isn't always driven by industry shortages), and sometimes in complete disarray. Clearly, they don't have enough people to stock and care for the shelves.Unattended stocking carts sit around the store, often blocking paths.Went in on one occasion to purchase flowers, and there were tons of dead flowers throughout the floral department (notably a display of dead sunflowers just inside the entrance door).I always use self-checkout anyway, but there is rarely more than 1 regular lane open. (In my experience, the self-checkout goes pretty fast.)The entrance doors on one side are broken. The one door has been broken and blocked for some time, and this week the other door was bungy-corded open.I encountered a former employee working at a different nearby business who said she had to leave because it was such a toxic work environment.It was never a store I enjoyed, but it has gotten so much worse.

They're always very friendly and Kroger's and course you're really busy but nowadays you can't get any help anyway so that's not their fault I don't think but the drugs and drug store is very helpful

I only came to this Kroger because it's halfway between the nursing home where my mom is and home. This is not my usual store but I came to save money and time; this was not the most pleasant visit because the floor is unattractive, shelves poorly stocked and some departments had carts blocking pathways. I just felt a little uncomfortable shopping here. They need to give this store a complete makeover; don't know if I want to shop here again.

Employees are nice and helpful. Couple critiques would be their produce is lackluster and or old in many cases. They refuse to employ more than one person at checkout. Very frequently the self checkout is overwhelmed with people backing up into the aisles, every now and then and employee that gives a toss will come open up another lane to clear up the traffic jam but don't count on it. Also, I find this a huge put off, they allow vagrants to beg for money outside their door in the parking lot. What is really irritating is these people begging for money in the Kroger parking lot appear to be professional beggars. Freshly cut hair, perfectly good clothing and carrying an iPhone. GTFOH

One of the many Kroger’s around. If you want anything from here you have to go in the morning. Did my first and last pick up order from here for 9am-10am and once I got here was told to come back an hour later. Came back an hour later and they told me to come back around 2:30!?!?! They called at 1:00, and said it was ready, so I left at 1:30 and waited an ADDITIONAL 30 minutes. It was 1 person working the pick up area. Had to go inside and get my pick up order. Came home and checked off my receipt and was missing items. Don’t do a pick up order. Just go inside the store because it is quicker. 3 stars because I understand being understaffed

Very understaffed and hardly any lanes open. I had an unfortunate encounter with an older man working behind the deli counter (cat called). I wonder if it's the same one that Mel Grimm is describing in an earlier review. If so, I cannot believe he's worked there for so long. I doubt me complaining about him got him fired, either. I go here because it is nearby but I just keep my head down and don't speak to any employees. I would give it 3 stars if it weren't for my experience with that one male employee.

Store is great, good service, friendly staff, but the self-checkout machines are the worst. If a real person is working the register, i’ll choose that, even if a self-checkout is open.

This place has consistently been one of the absolute worst grocery stores in the Richmond area. It’s dirty, the employees are incredibly rude and argumentative and unnecessarily belittling. I would recommend literally any other grocery store in the area. Even most Dollar General stores provide higher quality service. This place is absolutely disgusting. The only good employee they’ve ever had was Sean. He went above and beyond to be helpful and out of his way to be kind to everyone single customer who walked through the doors. He deserved much better than this garbage location.

I haven't been to a Kroger in years but when I received coupons in the mail this week, some for free items, I thought I'd check it out. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of brands and my regular go to things in addition to all the sales. I love they have a fresh seafood and meat department too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there were only 2 full service lanes open but it was faster than I expected and the check out clerk and bagger were great! Definitely coming back to do my weekly shopping.

Omar with the online check list is so sweet! Makes conversation as he is putting your groceries away and always makes sure to tell you to have a great rest of your day!! He seems to always be the one doing our click list. Nothing but great things to say!

They don't keep the smaller shopping carts stocked within the store. Boxes and carts of freight all over the floor; fire code violation. Since Martin's shut down, this store has quit trying to be great. Rarely have enough cash registers open during the evening rush between 4 and 6 PM. It's like shopping at Walmart. There are some friendly employees; however, many could care less about helping a customer.

Although I am often very happy with this store and it's products I have unfortunately run into a slight annoyance that in my opinion makes no sense. The customer service and returns don't open until an hour after the store opens. Now that may not be an issue for many of the shoppers here, but for those of us on a tight schedule this can cause quite an annoyance. I gave this location 3 out of 5 stars because like I previously mentioned, It makes no sense to have a store open for an hour without any customer service for returns or whatever else one may need.

They've done a great job with the remodel. Kroger has found a way to pack this tiny store with even more great food options.The home made pizza by the deli is quite test and affordable. They seem to be stocking the shelves better these days too at this location.

Nice store, great location. A bit too busy for folks with physical disabilities like myself, since the line wait can be quite high, but in general it does carry everything minus the pharmacy and gas station. There is no pharmacy nor gas pumps at this location.

My Fiance went here to pick up catfish for frying there wasn't much left so the associate checked in the back for any more "fresh fish" that he had happened to pulled out of the freezer. He fried the fish and let me tell you they were not fresh at all I ate a piece and both tasted and smelled the ammonia horribly. I am pregnant thank god i noticed it right away because this could have gone very wrong. You're management really needs to do some quality control in the seafood department ASAP!!

Several KROGER brand items have been out of stock at least 3 weeks at a time. Management is dismal as to an item's location and availability. Don't call in to see if an item is in stock unless you want to waste 10 minutes of your life. Electric carts are RARELY charged properly and you have to injur yourself to get to one .Overall I rate this storeAND pharmacy a 1. Very poor.
