The staff is wonderful here! Very helpful and always smiling! They helped me transition my cat to a new food they recommended along with raw goat milk to help with some issues he was having. I'm very happy they have located to Stoney Point Shopping Center!

As someone who owned and operated a private dog training facility with retail store, it's always a pleasure to step into a well-organized, very well stocked pet retail space. I was greeted immediately on entry and the sales associate, on hearing it was first time in the store, immediately came out from behind the counter, asked me about my dogs and what I was looking for. When I said I was browsing, she took the time to show me around, share her own favorite products and ask me questions about my dogs and made some great recommendations. A different team member was at the register and was equally accommodating and informative. Also, definitely will come use these self serve bathing tubs. They're fabulous.

The staff are always very friendly, make great recommendations (they helped me find a new food for my dog), and are great about telling me about available discounts. The young woman who helped me was remarkably knowledgeable about my options for freeze-dried dog food. She carefully explained the benefits of the various ingredients in one brand. I highly recommend her as a salesperson who can help a customer make an informed decision.

The team at this Stony Point location are all-stars! I walked in one entire minute before closing (on a Sunday) and left with a hearty bag full of treats for my 10-week old Rottweiler. We look forward to making this establishment part of our new routine.

The employees are welcoming and the store is very well maintained. The dog washing area is the main draw for me. Everything you need to wash your dog is supplied. The only drawback is the towels. The towels are very small and don't really help in drying your dog off.

I love Dog Krazy! Especially the Stony Point location. There's always a super friendly staff and they offer great hours. I always pick up a bunch of natural chews, food toppers and treats whenever I pop in, and their dog food selection is top tier. Their toys are cute and unique and go way beyond what bigger chain stores have to offer. They also support local shelters and dog/cat orgs!

Love this place! The staff is always super helpful and very knowledgeable. I have 4 dogs that all have at least 1 allergy. They have been super helpful through the process of finding their allergies and getting them the food they need as well as supplements and grooming products for sensitive skin. I will always recommend Dog Krazy!

New management/location is a great improvement. I need to give my dog special formula food which the store carries. Freezer is always stocked with his fresh food and a wide variety of flavors. Also lots of yummy snacks for him. Staff is extremely helpful and caring. HIghly recommend shopping here.

First time here. First time owning a guinea pig as well. Erin took great care of him and the entire store was so sweet and nice to myself, my son, and our little Fred! Absolutely coming back! I live in Ashland so this is a hike, but a well worth it hike! Thank you so much for making my Fred's very first grooming such a great experience! I wish I could put the video on here! He was absolutely loving the blow dryer!!! Purple towel was before his spa day got started! Bow is after at the all done mark! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thanks Dog Krazy and thank you Erin!!!!

The store layout is nice with wide lanes and easy to locate sections. Their cat section is well stocked with great cat food brands and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

Nice place but.. they make me wash my own dog. Kidding. That's what I sought them out for. I bathe him twice a week because he's between a boarding facility and dog sitter 3 days a week. Peeeewwww. Great service offered. I'd have to kick him out of the house with that B.O. if you guys weren't there. Thank you! The staff are always happy and pleasant.. Knowledgeable. All your pet needs should be met. Oh, they do offer full grooming services of you don't care to or have time to do it yourself. I forgot her name, forgive me...colorful hair? Awesome. She cut him for me when I couldn't get home to his regular groomer. Really appreciated that. He was a hot mess! I bathed him. She cut him. Go team! Great place! They gets all my money, honey. Nothing but the best for my Boi.

Stopped shopping there. about a year or so ago I made a grooming appointment while in the store, literally got the text confirming it in front of the cashier. My dog is very reactive and anxious getting groomed, he has to be medicated, the cashier assured me that they have 1 groomer who can handle reactive dogs. Showed up the day of my appointment, with my heavily medicated dog, was completely ignored by all staff (had to interrupt the cashiers morning gossip to ask who to give my dog to) and magically the system "updated" and cancelled my appointment, and the groomer had another appointment at the same time. When I pointed out that I made my appointment first and physically got to the store first and they should reschedule the other (ie- first come first serve), especially since my dog had to be medicated, the girl looked at me like I had 10 heads. She said that particular groomer didnt have another opening for almost 2 months! I asked if they could do any discounts on my next app since, again, their fault and "they dont do that". So not only did they waste my time, but they also wasted my dogs meds. Moral of the story, its a cute little shop to buy pet goods (although most of their stock is cheaper online, or at other big pet store chains)but I would not reccomend grooming services.

We love Dog Krazy so much! They have been incredibly helpful with both of our dogs. Some great examples:Our youngest dog struggled with bad rashes and ear infections constantly. We would get antibiotics from the vet, but the issues would almost immediately return. The employees at Dog Krazy helped us figure out that our dog had some food allergies (poultry and rice!). Once we switched up her diet, her skin issues and ear infections went away and have not returned!Our older dog started having an irritated throat that wasn't going away for quite some time. The vet recommended some different medications, but I asked the Dog Krazy employees when I was picking up food one day. They recommended marshmallow extract. I was skeptical at first, but after a day of following the bottle instructions his cough went away completely.Our older dog also has a dental disease and had most of his teeth removed when he was quite young. He loved to chew and we didn't know how to help with this when he has few teeth. The Dog Krazy employees recommended dog ice cream - he now enjoys these nightly and the licking calms him just like his bones used to!They also have a wonderful selection of dog food, treats, toys, toppers, etc. Thank you, Dog Krazy!

Staff is also knowledgeable and friendly as wellEdit:Good selection of dog treats but i booked 3 of my dogs for grooming a week in advance was told on the phone it would take 2 and half hours. Came back 3 hours later and none of the dogs were done. 2 needed an additional hour and the smallest and oldest dog was not touched at all. It would take an additional 3 hours to get her done while she was locked in a kennel. How do u have ONE groomer for 3 dogs? We weren’t walk ins, they knew in advance it would be 3 dogs at the same time. Utterly ridiculous. If i wanted my dog to be locked ip in a kennel for 6 hours, id take her to petco or petsmart. Not coming back.AO

Dog Krazy is a gem of a store. Discovered them first on Cary Street but was thrilled to find the closer store at Stoney Point! They have the only fluffy dog toys I have ever bought that my dog couldn't tear up in a very short time. I have come back to get more as gifts, and every dog that got one had them for a long time! But they pack so many other useful, high-quality items in the store, and the friendly staff gives sound advice on whatever you need and can recommend some things you'll wonder how you ever managed without. This is my go-to place for my dogs, the shelter dogs I foster, and for wonderful gifts for my dog-loving friends. I can't say enough good about this place!

I was on my way to Trader Joe's when I saw Dog Krazy. I went to look at dog harnesses. The staff member was very professional and knowledgeable about the harnesses. I didn't purchase a harness, however I walked out with a Valentine's Day treat for my fur baby! I signed up to receive emails and I was given a 20% off coupon to use towards a future purchase. I highly recommend this store for your animal's needs.
