Had our first visit, but not our last, to DHC last weekend. Very cute little store that is locally owned by a woman and she has two adopted greyhounds… can’t get much better than this!!!We picked up several chew sticks (my dogs love their coffee wood chews) and treats. Her prices were very reasonable and she’s expanding the store to have a dog wash area so that will be great for local dogs.

Having this small business in the neighborhood is so nice! The owner is very helpful helping you find what you may need. Love stopping in for treats, toys or new supplements for my pup. Everything is high quality. Excited for them to have a dog wash station!

This store was so cute!! It has all the freeze-dried treats you don’t ever see in stores like Petco/Petsmart (like rabbit ears, green lipped mussels, bison liver/heart, etc.). The store was a decent mix of dog and cat stuff (probably about 60/40 dog to cat stuff). The owner was super sweet and was open to suggestions on what their store should have in stock.

This has got to be the COOLEST pet store in town, by far! I just moved to the area and my Bernese mountain dog, Atlas, of course needed a new spot to get food, treats, and toys - dog house cat was the first place on the list and it did not disappoint! Not only is the owner, Ashley so sweet, accommodating, and helpful, Atlas LOVED her. If you’re in the Richmond area, you’ve got to stop by and if you’re not, maybe book a flight cuz this place is just that good!

The owner is always very very helpful, kind and makes things so convenient. I get all my pet food and supplies from her. I am picky when it comes to what I will feed my cat, and my expectations have always been met. She knows what she’s doing, and I love getting to know and supporting all the local businesses Richmond has to offer.

Awesome dog and cat supply store! Ruffwear, Chicken Chips to name a few things I like to buy and many goodies my fur babies love! Knowledgeable owner who is really nice and makes sure to stock the food I need! Doesn't push things on me like other stores. Support this local business!

Since the Dog Boutique closed in Stony Point, we now have a new place for Coca’s special things. I would rate a 5 if ice cream was in stock all the time. Otherwise, owner is nice and has lots of products.

Dog House Cat is a great and much needed addition for Richmond pets and their humans. The owner has carefully considered the selection of products and is very open to ideas for future products. As a cat owner it is nice to half a place to go that isn’t catered 90% to dogs and 10% to cats. I can’t wait to see what else is to come! Highly recommend for fun and aesthetically pleasing pet products!
