I worked for Dollar General for six years, and it is wonderful to visit store locations like this one in my travels to find someone behind the counter with the same values we had when I worked the DG. A very kind woman welcomed us in the door. She allowed us to borrow the restroom key before buying anything. And she wished us well on the way out. I would visit again.

The store wasn't too bad. It was a quick stop to exchange a pair of pants that I purchased from a Dollar General in Richmond, Virginia. Thankfully this store had the size that I needed. Very quick and friendly service.

Very clean and neat. Always has great customer service no matter the time you go in. Also knows regular customers by name.

I just stood in a line that was 20 people long for at least 15 mins with 1 register open while two other employees sat in the office room. Both this store and the one in ch court house are the worst stores ive ever been in because i can tell dg wont hire enough people or pay them enough even tho dg makes millions on the garbage they sell...greed!...I will not shop dg again

You have to wait for the cashier to come out of hiding or from putting up stock to ring your items up. I imagine many items walk out the door unpaid. When you finally get a person to check out your items, if another associate is there, they complain about the management.

Love going in Dollar General in Pamplin!! The workers in the store are "Always" so friendly and helpful and I love that!!😁😁 I'm a Happy customer!

The employee's are rude, and the debit machine always takes 20 extra off my card with purchase.. gotta call every time I go there to have it put back on my card
