Got a grip load of snacks for a movie night here. So worth it!!! The store is well maintained and fully stocked with everyday grocery needs to snacks. Employees were very nice too.Highly recommended dropping in. There's also a great little bakery next door as well.

Solid international grocery store. I am able to get all sorts of things rather if it comes from Asia or South America. Best international store that actually has great selections for multiple countries. The hidden gem of this place is their fish market. It has a huge selection, that will never disappoints. I am always buy a 1 or 2 of shrimp or fish.

Loved this place so much! I’m already planing my next visit. It has everything my boyfriend and I were looking for to make ramen from home. We also were able to score some great spices. I even got Pepsi that’s so much better than Pepsi made here. The staff was super helpful and hilarious. Definitely check this place out

This place is where to get fresh seafood!! It has many kinds of food variety and the prices are good. Also found Aunt Carol’s sauce on the seafood case. You want to pick up a bottle. It’s a sauce you’re going to keep in your kitchen.

Everything you ever wanted in Asian food!Silken tofu was excellent. It's in a plastic roll and much better than regular tofu.Rice cookers to lots of veggies and green coconuts. Amazing, reasonable place.

Best Intel market in the world. Very busy. Tons of products. Carribean, Hispanic, Asian, African, they got it. They specialize in Asian. Best exotic produce in town. LOTS of seafood plus meat. Employees always nice and helpful.

This place is solid. If you are a person who likes to cook the foods of different cultures, then this is a place you want to visit. They carry a very generous selection of fresh produce, meat, and fish. Each aisle has a variety of international ingredients to satisfy most home cooks. The only downside to the shopping experience is then having too much inventory. It's not always easy getting from aisle to aisle because their is so much inventory. If they would carry less, the experience would be better.

The seafood options and the grocery are good but the store timing is not reliable. As per the website they are supposed to close the store at 9PM. But they declare closed at 850 PM which is not acceptable.

One of the Hispanic ladies working there called me a wetto when talkng to the other Hispanic person bagging my groceries. Which is a dergatory term for white people. It translates to White illegal immigrant which is kinda funny because INS would have a field day if it went there.

This is a great international market, with ingredients for anything from Thai to Mexican food. This includes fresh ingredients as opposed to just bottled mixes. The people are good and helpful. You can also get specialized cooking equipment, such as dolsot or steamers.

The selection is good and the produce is fresh. Layout is a little confusing and the aisles are a little small, but this place has SO MANY different products, cuisines, and options it's definitely worth walking around in circles to find what you need.

Will do the trick for international goods, but you constantly feel like you are being watched and often times the produce is not very good. The added bakery and adjacent restaurant boost this place up, but consider going to the smaller and more well-maintained Jung Ha right across the street.

If you're looking for any type ethnic foods, this is the place.Always finding some new and different things to try here.The only reason there is no 5 star happening from me is the fact I hate seafood and they have a fish market in the back of the store.The smell is not for me but doesn't seem to bother anyone else I shop with as they all enjoy seafood.Be warned though - the smell is strong (offensive if you don't like fish)Other than that, this is the place to get anything you need for Asian, Hispanic, Indian, and even European food items and the prices are very comparable.

I love that I can find ingredients and snacks that follows my family's traditional Hawai'an, Japanese, and Filipino cuisine, but the friendliness of the staff is hit or miss. You never know if the cashier will just toss your things into bags haphazardly or be kind enough to answer questions.If you're okay with that risk, this is the place to go for authentic ingredients for our more traditional cuisine.

Great place to visit for international ingredients, fresh affordable produce, beautiful cuts of meat, and super fresh seafood. If you are looking for ingredients unique to Asian, South American, Spanish, or Middle Eastern cuisine they have it here. Prices are reasonable and the quality of the fresh items (seafood, meat, and produce) are better than most grocery stores.

Huge selection of Asian and other international food choices. I always find what I'm looking for, and I always get some fresh produce and fish. My only wish would be if they could list every item they have in their Newport News website so I could place an order and just go pick up the items. The staff are always able to tell me what isle to go to, when I'm searching for specific items to use when I'm making sushi or Thai food. They are always busy, even the day I went when it was pouring rain! Love this place and the helpful staff. Be adventurous and give this grocery store a visit.

My wife and I are always on the lookout for good grocery stores. Whenever we're in the area, we'll stop either at Grand Mart or E Mart. E Mart has a great seafood section, and a pretty good produce section as well. Loads of fruits to choose from!

It was very nice, clean, and a HUGE VARIETY! Foods from all over the world, INCLUDING DRAGONFRUIT! The picture is of just a few things we got, the pricing is also quite a bit better than at anime conventions! So if you want mochi, dried seaweed, a Ramune drink, etc. for your trip to an anime convention, here is the place to get it!

I love this place. Looking for foods you can't find at a traditional grocery store this is the place. Look out for the time warp. Went in at 9 the other day and it was 11 when I came out. Great produce section, great meat section, great seafood section. You can even find things like beef hard or kidneys if you're looking for meats you would normally find. Also the international snack sections are dangerous. I want to try them all. Some of the prices are a little high on some items but they're imported items so I'm sure that adds to their cost. The smell takes a little getting used to but they basically has a full-blown fish market in the back so that's understandable. You can actually see them bringing out whole fish and cleaning and flaying and prepping right behind the counter.

Love the meats & products, the cashiers have attitudes , they get upset if you ask for a extra plastic bag. Seriously we are the paying customer, you get a paycheck because of US. You don't own the store learn to stay in your lane & try to be pleasant. If you don't like your job or people then quit. Only one nice clerk the Philippine Lady.

2023 -08-10 I was looking for small watermelons, honeydews and cantaloupes. E Mart only had big watermelons. But I saw they had a good selection of produce. I will go there again.
