I have lived in Amherst County for 60 years now. Country Corner Market seems like its been here just as long. Use to stop in when I was younger, headed to Monocan Park (fishing), Blue Ridge Parkway (Peaks of Otter, Natural Bridge), Lynchburg Reservoir (camping), now I live on River Road so it's very convenient.The atmosphere is old small southern hospitality at its best. The staff and owner actually greet their customers when they enter the store. When you do enter the smell of fish fried chicken, potato wedges, just good food, makes you mouth water! It's a little pricey, however, it is off the beaten path, and prices are crazy right now everywhere! (2022) They still cut you meat selections for you, how YOU want it cut, they have fresh area raised veggies, meat, eggs, they have a little bit of anything else you may need. Being disabled now, very difficult to walk, the "bagboy" will take my bags to truck, or if onlý need gas he'll pump it for me! Cashiers are all very nice and concerned about the quality of customer service they provide. As a lifetime resident, I give Country Corner Market and its employees and owner a big 👍and 5⭐

Always a pleasant experience. Great workers, great MTO food. The great part of living in the country is great town stores like this one. They have most of the things you ever need. Not to be confused with want... you have Amazon for that. But everything you could need. Fair prices too!July 1, 2023Still a favorite place to get sandwich. Made fresh not greasy I'd say the only thing is it leaves you waiting another one! Gas prices were good as well.

Doing some remodeling, and the registry seem to be slow. But I like what I see as in cleaning up the store. Look forward to seeing the store cleaned up and the remodeling complete.

Super friendly cashier's, one of the few good old fashioned country store's left. Store has a little bit everything. Excellent fried chicken, great warm inviting atmosphere, and they sell South Pedlars ATV passes. Love to stop by every time I go to ride.

This place has changed drastically.. I don’t recommend ordering food here anymore I called in a fresh chicken order when I came to pick it up I paid for it and while waiting I noticed she was mixing fresh chicken with old chicken that had been sitting a while I asked why all of the chicken wasn’t fresh like I requested and she said her boss wouldn’t let her fry more… that to me was very deceitful and kind of gross so I asked for my money back and won’t be eating there again.

This is a great store for a quick stop. They have almost everything a grocery store has and they have fresh cut, locally farm raised never frozen steaks that I get here a lot!However, the picture Google has for this store is wrong so don't go by the picture.

This is a GREAT spot! Convenient on the way to Monacan Park boat launch for lunch items. Always fresh, always local! Their meats are some of the best around! I always buy their ribeyes, NY strips, and filets. Locally sourced meats, unbeatable price, astounding quality. I actually drive out from Lynchburg to shop for meats here. Highly recommend!

This place is GREAT!!! I like there meat dept: Good prices and old school butcher! They will cut anything you buy , the way you want! (CHECK IT OUT!)For got to mention there have real good fried chicken in the deli!!!!

Country store that carries all the basic supplies. Saves a longer trip to Madison Heights if you just need a few items. Their deli has great fried chicken.

Just stopped in for a few miscellaniouse items but was pleased at the neatness of the store the food that was prepared out on display looked very appealing and though I didn't purchase any I'm sure I'll remember that the next time I'm in the area.a pleasant experience.keep up the good work...

One stop shop for country items. DVD rentals, fried chicken and laundry detergent. I would recommend this place to other people. They have things you wouldn't expect them to carry.

This is a really nice store to stop at before you go fishing at Elon or just riding around they have a little of everything in there and the people working in there are super friendly so I would recommend this place
