If you're looking for an excellent customer experience and some of the nicest ukes out there, you've found it. I've ordered twice from Mim's Ukes, and both times my purchases well exceeded my expectations. Instruments arrived quickly with no shipping problems, and were expertly set up so that I could start playing them right out of the box. I'll definitely be back for more ukes when my budget allows - AND make sure you donate a few bucks to Mim's animal rescue! An amazing human selling gorgeous instruments and making the world a better place. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!I have made two purchases with Mim and her customer service is second to none. She goes the extra mile to ensure we (her customers) are happy. I bought my Ohana TK70R from her back in 2018 and it’s still my #1 ukulele. The setup is perfect and I’m super particular so my standards are pretty high.My second purchase was an Ohana double tenor sized gig bag. Her price was the best I could find and she sent it out the next day.It’s very apparent she loves what she does and cares a great deal about making her customers happy. Again…I cannot recommend Mim’s Ukes more highly.

Mim is one of the best people I know, and a fantastic ukulele dealer. Her setups are world-renowed for good reason, and she gives every instrument she sells her setup, be it a $100 ukulele or a $2,000. She's literally known around the world for her set-up for a reason, because it's the best set-up you will ever get! And, surprisingly, this is a FREE service that she provides, because she actually cares about her customers and wants to ensure quality and easy playability, so that you get the most out of your ukulele purchase. Most dealers/stores either drop ship, or you have to pay an additional fee to receive a proper set-up. I'm in Canada, so unfortunately Mim is not local for me, but I like to support buying from her because she's a small business owner, a very reputable ukulele dealer, and I know when I place my order that I don't have to worry, because I will receive perfection. I only wish she was closer, so I could save on shipping lol!

I feel very lucky to have met Mim, first as a uke dealer, and then as a friend. I have enjoyed shopping with Mim at festivals over the years, but my favorite memory is visiting her shop in VA. Drove from Wisconsin. What a beautiful setting and store. Mim met us at the crack of dawn and had pulled several ukes bases on previous emails I sent her. I controlled myself and only bought one. I had Mim ship it because of my travels. We picked a date and guess what showed up at my house that day? Great uke, plays very nicely. Fun store, great service, great uke set up. Next time Mim gets a red soprano Risa LP, expect it to be shipped to Wisconsin.

At first sight I am looking straight at one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever seen, walls full of Quality ukuleles. A dream come true and I get to try a few too. Even better.
