One of the most interesting markets I've ever been to. So much on display. Soaps and tonics to clothing and decor. A very kind lady running the place was quick to offer suggestions of where to go next. Much of what's offered here is handmade from various local vendors and small businesses. Most people will surely find something of interest to them.

Fun and eclectic store with a lot of neat artisan items and some great clothing too. Friendly staff and a clean and warm store. Local craft beers available too! A great stop on the Blue Ridge Pkwy.

Nice place to visit very clean with lots of cool stuff from gifts to furniture. Many things to shop like lamps, clothing, quilts, herbal lotions and soaps. Beverages coffee and sodas along with a few other snacks that are available. Nice clean restrooms open to the public as well. A little pricey on some items though but a fun place to visit.

Great stop to stretch your legs if you’ve been on the Parkway. Local art, jewelry, clothing, coffee and cold drinks /snacks. Take a rest on the rocking chairs and watch the traffic pass by while sipping a beverage.

Very nice store that you must visit. We have made this one of our must stop and see places when we visit the Blue Ridge Parkway. Local artisans have their wares here. They also have Himalayan coffee that is just great.

A great store in meadows of dan. Handmade quilts, clothes, unique gifts, locally brewed beer and many more items to buy. A great place to shop and also buy a beer and porch sit on the wonderful gliders and rockers.

Loved this store. Loaded with very unusual items.. jewelery, clothing, local artists works. Highly recommend stopping in...you will jot be disappointed. Meadow of Dan is a beautiful area to visit.

This is a fantastic place to shop for local artisan items as well as hard to find items.The staff here is fantastic and wonderful quick to answer any questions about the area for tourists. It's a highly recommended stop.

I love this place. We live in the area and it gets a lot of tourists coming from the parkway. It is full of beautiful handmade items from local artisans. You can find quilts, wood pieces, clothing jewelry etc. Prices are not inflated and the staff is always accommodating and friendly.

I'm from Lynchburg Virginia. When I found this GEM! Nestle Around the Blue Ridge parkway. I was just in Love with all the Unique items and locally-made items. It was worth my trip! Got all 4 of my children's and my 3 grandaughters Christmas there! That's how your do too! Love it there!!!

Enjoyed the store, but the owner wasn't friendly at all. When asking about the artist that supplies some of their arts and crafts she was really standoffish. Prices are reasonable. Very pretty homemade crafts and arts. I have found some of the same things in other shops with better prices. Over all if you enjoy arts and crafts than you will enjoy the corner store.

This is an AWESOME store! My husband and I stopped in there Friday on the way to Roanoke and bought a beautiful Turkish lamp. We went an hour out of our way today on the way back home to purchase a print and a couple other things. Their merchandise is made by local artist and so unique. The owner and staff were very friendly. We are actually planning another trip up there in a couple of weeks to purchase another lamp (they sold the other one I wanted over the weekend) and a couple of rocking chairs. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

This is by far the is the best little corner store I have been to personally. It is loaded with all kinds of local handmade items. Omish made porch furniture, clothing, jewelry, soaps,lotions, lamps, quilts, and the list goes on. 95% of everything is handmade. This is a wonderful place to pick out a unique gift for a friend or family member. You can be guaranteed that the gift you pick out will not be the everyday run of the mill gift. This place is truly awsome and the owner is super sweet and knowledgeable. Be sure not to miss this place while you are passing by or in Meadows of Dan. Don't forget to get a bit to eat at the dinner next to the corner store and check out the poor farmers market on your way out for some fresh produce. Support locally owned business. I wish there were more places like these around.
