I took my car in for a basic tire change after I got a nail in the tread. It took about two hours and the guy absolutely destroyed my rim. Brand new 2022 Maserati, the rim is destroyed for a basic tire change.The guy acted like he didn’t do it… but the guy at the front knew. I will never go here again.

Came in for an alignment, and left with dents on my rear passenger door panel. The dent and scratches seemed to be from careless opening of the door. I just bought the car and the damages were not there before i dropped it off. The alignment specs were good, however I'm very disappointed with how the car was treated. I never give the mechanics a hard time in my life. However i am very disappointed with the unprofessional care of my vehicle. I brought the issue up with the front desk guy and he told me it was "bird doo doo". Yeah ok buddy must be a bird that drops some heavy dungIn addition, my front passenger wheel well panel trim popped off after driving it 5 minutes down the road. Now the panel doesn't sit flush with the vehicle anymore where as it did before. I bought the lifetime alignment service with them. I regret it now seeing how they treated my vehicle. If you have a new vehicle i DO NOT recommend taking it here for anything.

We have been here twice now and intend to come back for all of our car needs. Edson at the front desk welcomed us with excellent customer service, he was kind and thorough each time. The waiting area was a great spot while we waited for our car, and the service was quick and painless. Thanks for being awesome!

To tell you the truth 5 stars doesn't even compare to what they should be.. I would give them 1000 stars if I could. I had an unexpected flat tire and made an appt with them at 6 even though they closed at 8. They were able to get all 4 tires on the spot for me, they also did my alignment. and state inspection! Like wow and everything was done perfectly! They have the best staff around (Edson did an amazing Job and has the best customer service I have seen) I would def recommend going to them for your vehicle needs and I will def be back!!! Thank you for all you have done for me and my Family!!!

I experienced an accident involving my vehicle caused by two technicians. The individual driving the other vehicle, whom I believe is named Evan, did not apologize and responded with a shrug and a chuckle. On a positive note, Kris at the front desk and the manager displayed kindness and professionalism throughout the incident.

Edson and Erol provided great customer service on a day that I was particularly stressed about my car. Edson also educated me on the various issues that would need to be addressed. Great team. I wanted to take the time to bring attention to the extraordinary customer service and care I always receive at this location. The manager Chris has been a professional and personable ray of light since my very first experience over a year ago. He has such great rapport with his team and the attitude amongst the entire staff is to do their best to ensure customers are satisfied! The manager Victor is also very helpful and continuously helps facilitate tasks for operations to run smoothly and values the opinion of the employees along with care for the customers . I have worked with the technician Dominic who has serviced my car routinely and helped it remain in good condition. I can’t thank them enough for helping me keep my car serviced as our vehicle is a valued asset and can only be as good as those who help us maintain it. I also have worked with the technician Juan who is very skillful and professional as well and amazing ! This is an OUTSTANDING place of service and the team is phenomenal!!! They always take care of me and my old roadrunner! Over 230k still running like day 1 🚗 the service advisors and staff make sure they review all options to repair and price points with no pressure just friendly advice. Very knowledgeable across all makes and models I'd trust them with a Lamborghini if I had one!!! 😊They do take appointments but I have walked in and the mechanics work fast and accurate!! They always get it right the first time and I appreciate everyone making me feel valued and welcomed. Pricing is VERY reasonable, call your dealership then call pep boys Manassas bet it's more affordable And with same or better warranty (I've never had to use they are on point)😉 no fancy waiting room but it's clean the porter is on his job too but fresh coffee, free wifi, tv, and 711 etc a quick walk. 5 stars 🤩

Had a tire that got a nail(not repairable). Called to verify if i had road hazard cooverage and was told I had basic install. Went ahead and asked if the tire was in stock and front desk would not check. I proceeded to take my car in, fairly confident I did purchase road Hazard to see in person. I asked for a copy of the old receipt and what do you know road Hazard was there! Edson then proceeded to tell me I did not pay for road Hazard but he would pro-rate the tire. If the paperwork says the customer has it, then they have it. Fast forward to today's pickup, I noticed they did not change the tpms valve as policy requires, they removed it off the ticket. Thought it was all said and done, then noticed the price didn't change. Got home and looked at yesterday's invoice from the estimate, and Edson changed the tire install price from $15.01 to $27.00!! I asked Edson what road hazard covers and he confirmed it cover balance and install of the tire for life, so why am I being charged for install again? All in all, service from Edson was not great and I can definitely tell I was lied to during my experience. Not a great representation of the company and not a personable manager. This company has gone downhill drastically. ANYONE WHO TAKES THEIR CAR IN, DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PRICES AND VERIFY TPMS REBUILDS HAVE BEEN DONE! THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE IF TPMS IS NOT REBUILT!

Extremely disappointed! The advertised deal was buy 2 tires, get 2 free, totaling $586 for all four. However, post-installation, they demanded $795. It took me five hours and now I’m asking them to remove the tires as I no longer want them.Another unfortunate experience occurred when I arrived on my scheduled appointment last Wednesday, expecting a full service. However, after spending two hours there, they only managed to install three tires and apologized for being short one tire. Consequently, they reinstalled my old tires and rescheduled the completion for the following day. When I returned the next day, the same issue persisted, resulting in this frustrating situation.And now After your store removed their tires from my rims, they failed to rebalance them with my old tires. Now, the vehicle shakes significantly and produces a lot of noise. Who will take responsibility for this issue? Should I spend an additional 5 hours and more money rectifying this problem caused by your dishonest staff?

Good service. They were able to see me without an appointment. They did leave the interior of my car messy (had done something inside my glove box and didn't put the stuff back inside of it!) But overall a good experience!

The worst experience of my life. Literally left in TEARS. Scheduled a tire installation appointment for 3:30pm. I showed up for my scheduled appointment time, to which I wasn't even attended to until 3:45pm. They finally took my keys and told me if would be 2.5hrs for my tire installation to be done (which seemed weird to me in the first place). Called my husband to pick me up so I didn't have to wait in the shop. We came back THREE HOURS LATER and to my dismay, my car still wasn't ready. When we inquired, we were told that my specific tires weren't in stock and they had to get the tires from another shop. Okay, so why wasn't this confirmed with me before? Not a single phone call explaining the situation to me and asking me if I wanted to wait or come back another day. Instead I come back the three hours later and they tell me to "hang tight". By this point I was curious. Finally at 8pm I was making my way home. What a disappointing and stressful experience. I will not be returning.

They will scratch your rim on the outside and ding your rim on the inside when putting on a $275 tire. Would not recommend this location. You will spend your money and double the time in fixing a flat if you take it here. They sent a guy to fix the outside but they don't fix the inside. Buyer beware.

I went in to get 2 new tires, and the service was fast and at a good price. However, ever since I got it home, my tire pressure light keeps coming on, even though the tires look fine. I wonder if when replacing the two tires, they didn't install the tire pressure gages properly.

Nick is cool, honest and easy to work with. The other guy at front desk will try to upsell like crazy on issues not needed. The shady service assosciate Saw Nick recommend changing brake pads and he came out 1 minute after Nick left, talking about i needed to rotors too, otherwise they wont accept reponsibility on any brake issues of they just changed the pads. I asked him if pads are caught in time do rotors always go as well (i already knew the answer to this) he laughed and said EVERYTIME pads are replaced rotors need to be as well (not true). When explaining i need to save the money and not do the rotors again he laughed, "its on you then". Also hood no longer holds on its own since bringing back. Simple 100 dollar alignment and oil change turned into a potential 800 dollar bill, again Nick was great but the other gentlemen made me feel like he just was trying to take me for all he could.

The service advisors and employees were all professional. I am unhappy with Pep Boys Corporate for the way they advertise their tire sale. The sale was advertised as buy 2 get 2 free in addition to a discount on the tires. The tires were marked on their website from $189 to $95 in addition to the BOGO. After I was asked to pay I was given a receipt to look over and it looked incorrect. Upon further conversation with the manager it is correct in their eyes and is poorly advertised.

This building is poorly managed. You have to checkout in the back where the tires are. They have two checkout lanes that are not in use towards the front of the store. This store is filthy. Displays are dusty. The chairs customers sit in daily are not sanitized or wiped down in the middle of a pandemic..You have auto techs pants halfway down on their behinds. Blasting hip hop music in the shop where the customers can hear it. Totally unacceptable. THE PRICES ARE NOT ACCURATE AT ALL. Tags show one price then ring up another. What is going on with this store/shop.

DO NOT get your wheels and tires serviced at either Pep Boys' locations in Manassas and Germantown. They incorrectly mounted/balanced my set of wheels and tires onto my brand new 2022 vehicle. After the installation, my car had a new vibration in the steering wheel that was never there prior. After returning from a doctor's appointment I all of sudden get a flat tire on I-495. When the wheel was taking off, there was no visual damage to the tire or wheel. When I took it to my local mechanic they examined the tire and could not understand what caused the tire to go flat as well. Upon further investigation, by checking my other 3 wheels, they noticed that Pep Boys' mechanics had improperly mounted my tire onto the wheels breaking the bead and over stretching the tire. They scratched up my rims in the process on backside, the mechanics at my local shop notice that another tire needed to be replaced. Due to their negligence I'm out 2 brand new tires with less than 500 miles on them. What if the mechanics didn't spot this error?? My front tire could have easy blown out on the interstate causing either myself or others to get hurt!!! I don't trust Pep Boys and will NEVER get my vehicle serviced there again!! And this isn't everything!!! There's more... I don't have enough time and space to explain all the other things that went wrong with Pep Boys in Germantown and Manassas!!

Amazing service!!! From the moment I called Victor was there to treat you like family. They took me in on short notice, we’re fully transparent and upfront in terms of what they were doing both inspection and repair wise, as well as when it came to cost. Even going out of their way to include coupons and promotions I wasn’t even aware about before walking in the door. Will definitely be returning!
