We take our two rat terriers and a little terrier mix I've recently acquired who is not very trusting of people in general. The groomers are patient and give him breaks when he gets too anxious and nippy. He has to wear a cone for their safety because I cannot trust him yet. They are very kind and gentle grinding his nails despite him being a very challenging dog presently. I appreciate their willingness to work with us because he's impossible for me to clip his nails alone. It has been a good experience every time we've been to Lucky Dog. Their prices are good and dogs in their store always look happy. Thank You!UPDATE: After several more visits, still very happy with staff and care they take trimming my dogs nails. Great local business.

It was a great place. Such Friendly staff.To my surprise they let the dogs walk around instead of caging them. +++Tucker my Golden-Doodle looked marvelous & "happy". I'm sure part of that was being able to walk around and make friends. (One of his most favorite things do)I loved him meeting me at the counter when I picked him up. 😍 All around supper place.... I will go back and suggest everyone to check them out and see for themselves what a great place to take your fur-baby.🐕🐾🐩🐾

I brought my 9 month old Black Lab here for her first professional grooming, and I could not be happier with the service. Rachel was the groomer that took care of my puppy, and she did a fantastic job. She made sure it was a really great and positive experience for her, took amazing care of her and did a great job grooming her. Will definitely be back and ask for Rachel again.

We took our new puppy for his first ever grooming. Poor thing was not able to see anything. We left him there for a couple of hours and called to check on him and they told us he was behaving well until we got back and the groomer came to us and was like he was absolutely terrible to cut. She said he hated the sound of clippers and didn't like the sensation of comb. But regardless of all that she was able to trim him. She asked us to work with him with a comb and electric toothbrush and that is work in progress. Overall had a great experience and love their professionalism.

I tried Lucky Dog on a whim because the location was convenient and they were able to get our pup in on shorter notice. I was a bit nervous since our previous groomer is very good - just very busy. We have a miniature poodle that we're weirdly particular how he's cut. I was concerned about "starting over" with getting to the cut we like. We don't like the "poodle look" but we also want him to look... cute. It's hard to explain. I was surprised: First try - they nailed it. They knew exactly what I was talking about. But the big thing? He liked it there. It may have been all the treats. LOL. We already scheduled our next appointment. Fun staff too.

Love that this place has no issue with bigger dogs. Seems to really customize service and treats every dog as individuals (no sense of stereotyping dogs) and assesses temperaments based on interaction with dogs. Did a great job with our 1.5 yr old Airedale puppy!

My dog is not a big fan of other grommers, but she's always happy after getting groomed at Lucky Dog. The service and the price are great. I really liked the fact that the dogs are treated fairly and not crated unless necessary. Very happy with Lucky Dog Groomers.

Our big doggos love it here. Always look and feel clean and sharp when they get home. Takes some coordinating with only weekday appointments available but well worth the effort. Not many places are always comfortable with big dogs and the folks that work here are clearly dog lovers.

Our dogs love Lucky Dog! We love how fluffy, shiny, and happy our dogs are when we pick them up! The groomers are great at being gentle with our old man of 13 and our younger dog’s exuberance. We also appreciate how communicative they are, including using text for updates.

Went here for the first time because our favorite groomer Leila moves here. It was a smooth process to get the appointment that match with my work schedule. The staff was attentive and prompt. We got the appointment that we need. The place definitely different than any other grooming place that we have been, however Mochi still welcome and when I picked her she also doing well with other dogs. My Mochi has skin growths (like other cocker has), and she takes sometimes to groom due to these skin growths and her anxiety. I am so happy that we found Lucky Dog through Leila. I definitely recommend this place and Leila. your dog also can be off leash in the store, but of course they asked your permission and evaluate the dog before doing so.

My dog was there for a bath and blow out and to get her nails trimmed. My dog has been to groomers in the area multiple times with no bad reports with her behavior. When I picked my dog up, the staff at Lucky Dog were extremely critical of my dog, telling me how difficult it was to trim her nails and insisted that she be sedated if I bring her in again. I was charged extra $20 as well because my dog was called difficult. Again no other groomer nor the vet has ever told me she had bad behavior. So then I was told multiple times that I had a difficult dog, which I don't. I was made to feel very bad about my dog when I left. Also the drying area is a huge dog crate with home depot fans bungie corded to the crate. Also before I ever brought my dog to this place, I had to sign a paper release that said I would not sue Lucky Dog if they killed my dog during the grooming session. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid. Staff is not professional.

I took my dog here for his very first grooming. The staff was very friendly, professional, and informative. My dog Rook looked great and smelled fantastic. The price was very affordable. It was a great experience, I fully recommend Lucky Dog Grooming.

Emily at Lucky Dog did a fabulous job on my "special needs" rescue pup. Her calm and gentle presence is a good influence on my terrier mix. Her haircut is exactly what I wanted, and my dog seems extra soft! I appreciated the first-time rescue dog discount, too. The bowtie they sent her home in is too adorable to take off. I highly recommend Emily for puppy spa day...she is a great new hire!!!

Today was the second time we took our dogs, Luke and Chewy to Lucky Dog. It is happy and full of good energy and kindness. It is clear and obvious that everyone here loves their jobs and loves the dogs. I am so happy that my doggies are cared for ..... and the GROOMING .. oh yea.. PERFECT .. and knowledgeable . The babies are happy and look fantastic. Highly RECOMMEND .If you are not coming here you are "unlucky".

I started taking my dog here, she's been 3 times so far and we love it. The staff is always pleasant and they do great work. Price is reasonable and I love that they don't have the dogs caged up, they get to roam freely behind the counter with the staff.Came to edit my review: 4 years later, I still love this place and still bring my dog here.

IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE ANIMAL, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!Our dog is a service animal and needed to be groomed. The situation alone is tough because it can be time sensitive. They initially told us our dog would be ready by noon and then pushed the time out later. When they called to inform my sister (the owner of the service animal) that the time would be delayed by over an hour my sister started to have an episode because she needed her service animal. The employee on the phone mocked her and told her “there was no reason to have an episode over this” and laughed in the background. I went in slightly early to see if there was anything we could do to get our dog to my sister faster to try to help with her episode… unfortunately I was met with the same ill-mannered remarks. It is an understatement to say that I am incredibly disappointed with the service. The groomer who did the haircut did a good job but it wasn’t enough to overlook the ableist and outright nasty attitude we experienced.

Lucky Dog Grooming is the best! I've taken all 3 of my dogs there (2 are deceased now). Whenever I mention haircut, Linda, and Melissa to my dog Shiloh, she gets excited and ready to go. The groomers do a wonderful job and everyone is pleasant, including the shampoo person. I'm not in the best of health and there's been times when Melissa would carry Shiloh to the car for me. Linda's looked out for me and my dogs in so many ways, you won't believe how kind she is. I love them and I I consider them family. Today I told Linda and her sister that I'm their long lost sister! This was our first time using the groomer. They were great. My wife thought the appointment was for 10:30 but as we were driving to the groomers she looked at a card she had written the time on and found we were an hour late. She called and they said bring our dog in anyway and they would groom her. So we did. A perfect job and then we learned that part of our tip would go to saving another dog. This pleased my wife since our dog is a rescued dog. Very nice people who did a fantastic job on our dog.

We have been taking our English bulldog to Lucky Dog for about 3 years now. They always do an excellent job and our dog always has a good time there. The staff is so friendly and they provide a quality service at a great price point.
