I got this pretty girl from petco. Her black and white coat pattern is so pretty. I named her sapphire because of her beautiful blue eyes. Her and my Guinea pig Festus get along just fine. The people at petco that I talked to were very friendly and helpful. I felt so welcomed when I entered the door there. I highly recommend every body to go here for the great customer experience. I will be coming back there for more future purchases. I just want to thank the managers, the cashier, and everybody else who made me feel welcomed and provided me with the best customer experience I have ever had in a very long time.

I want to give a shout out to Jess! She did a great job with my 4 month old…his first groom! She also took plenty of time to consult with me and give me tips so that I can help get him more comfortable with the whole process between grooms. He left there very happy, not upset or traumatized.I honestly wasn’t expecting a lot with his first groom…didn’t even think they would be able to give him a full cut, haha!She really went above and beyond my expectations!

Petco gooming services is professional. The service area was well organized and clean. They were able to squeeze me in same day. I intended only a wash and nail trim and ended up getting talked into a complete cut and style because of small (to me) patches of matting. It takes time to find a good fit with a new groomer. This time the cut was alot shorter than I anticipated but I am willing to give it another go when pup's hair grows in (4-5months). Prices were fair.

I went in last week to grab a few things for my dog (I usually to go petsmart but I was in the area) and went to just look around at some of the pets for sale. I was disgusted at the living conditions of these poor babies. The ferrets were living in a poop covered enclosure, and their food and water containers were also coated in poop. It also smelled foul. Yes ferrets can have a smell, but the smell that came off of that enclosure was obviously from lack of cleanliness. They also had sooo many ferrets in one space…I don’t know how many should be in one space but that just seemed way too overcrowded. Then I went to look at the hamsters and rats, and again, enclosures were coated in feces and pee as well as food bowls. Absolutely horrible living conditions for those animals. Then when I went up to pay I was met with a rude sales person who asked why I was getting specific things for my dogs (a basket muzzle for my dog who is going to board and training classes and the trainer told me exactly what I needed to get for her because she’s been known to bite) giving an attitude and telling me that I really shouldn’t be using a muzzle. I should never have been met with that kind of judgement. Extremely disappointed in this Pet Co.

Friendly people working there, but ferrets are kept in a small area and were fighting. Do better by the animals in your care.

The grooming staff expected a curly coated Cockapoo, but my Gracie is almost all Cocker Spaniel. Leah gave her a beautiful Cocker cut that wasn't too short or too long, but really showed off her beautiful Cocker coat. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will return for Gracie's next groom.

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful there. They even know all 5 of my dogs by name when I go in and the backstory of the one I rescued. They always make time to pet your fur baby and give treats!

The store was clean, and had nice lighting. The employees were friendly. The only con was the layout of the store it felt like a maze, what I thought would be a fast trip ended up with me wandering around for ten minutes ( I could have asked someone for help but I didn't mind searching myself, like a scavenger hunt lol ) If you are someone who has kids as in human kids you might should put a leash on them so they don't disappear on you.

This store was well stocked, I had only been here previously a few times but it had been over a year ago. No staff interaction except when I was checking out. Bring your own bag-- they are going green. They do not have it posted, unless I missed it, but each bag will cost you $0.10. Other than that, the prices are a bit higher than Petsmart but they offer other brands.

It's a nice little store with a LOT of product and great prices, but all of my fish keep dying less than a week after purchase. I bought life fish elsewhere and they're still alive months later... I'll stick to buying pet supplies from here and live animals from somewhere else.

I went to buy a few hermit crabs. There wasn't anyone on the sales floor that I could find and the cashier was busy with a line of 4 customers. I had to wait until she was finished before I could get her attention. At which time she paged someone to help me. This employee came quickly and was very helpful. I don't know if it's the economy or Corporate America's greed but it's the same in most stores; they just need more help.

My husband went in to buy a fish on Sunday. He was told they would not sell him a fish until he bought a bigger tank, took it home, set it up and let it condition for 36 hours. He complied with some very disappointed kids. I went back today with the child who had patiently waited. Walked in at 5:00. Waited to speak to the girl behind the counter. Requested help to get some fish. Was told she would call someone and to wait by the fish. 15 minutes later I went back to the counter and asked another employee at the counter for help getting some fish. Was told the same thing. After 15 more minutes of watching employees go everywhere but to us at the fish tanks I walked out. 30 minutes, two face to face requests for assistance and still no fish. We will head to Petsmart tomorrow. Last time we were there we had a fish picked out and bought in about ten minutes. They helped us pick compatible species and answered our questions without the condescension we have felt at petco. Petsmart will be where we shop from now on.*sidenote: If petco offers for you to join their vital care program be aware that it is a one year commitment. They did not mention that in store, nor did anything say as much. We called and got it cancelled but not without some headache.Edit: returned for more fish because I was right next door and thought I would give them a chance. Got super fast and helpful service. Perhaps the time of day matters. Either way I feel like they redeemed themselves.

My son has reptiles and he likes to get supplies from this store. The store is clean with a friendly staff. He purchased a few things from this store. He has a Russian Tortoise called Mr. T. He got him about3 years ago.

Shirley and Zoey are always great, I never feel like I'm being talked down to when I speak with them about anything, they are always smiling and willing to help. I love the conversations about bettering my pets care as well! Super great employees those two!

The lady who helped us would not sell my child a Goldfish, was extremely rude and unhelpful. Went to Petsmart and was able to purchase the fish with no issues or rude employee. Have been shopping there for over a decade and will no longer be going back after how they treated my family.

Usually a trip to petco is always a great experience, but i am highly disappointed after my visit on 1/23/23. I was pleasantly surprised looking through the selection of cat food and seeing most products were on sale. This excitement turned into disgust very quickly after I found that product after product was expired. One bag of food even was out of date by 2 years! By law pet stores are allowed to sell product outside of the use best by date technically, but there should be laws to regulate the sale of pet food products. To make matters worse, the store allegedly closed at 7:00 pm and the employees closed the doors promptly at 6:50 pm, locking out several customers.

I've had my dog clipped here for several years. The last time it was $63 and today $81. She's a 25lb dog that's shaved! I know everything has gone up but this is ridiculous! I'll buy shears and shave her myself. I will not be going back because of high prices!
