I go to this location because It’s on the way home from work and convenient, not my favorite but not the worst by far! They have great manager specials early morning and the staff is usually pleasant, in the morning, in the afternoon they are less likely to speak… nonetheless always find what I need and it’s pretty fresh. The ladies at the deli!!! Yall are great! Always happy to help! And can we talk about the international seasonings!!! If you are a cook this should excite you!

My favorite neighborhood store .. store always spotless .. clerks are sooo helpful and always smiling!!!! Been going to this specific Food Lion for almost 20 years now matter where I've lived in Lynchburg love my Food Lion!!!

The store was clean, well stocked, and the cashier friendly. Plenty of parking. However, front line supervisor had not sent anyone to retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot. The corral inside the store was empty, and as a person in need of one for stability as well as carrying my purchases, it was an inconvenience not to have a cart.

It was a very nicely out together store compared to the other Food Lion on Memorial Ave. But they didn't have any 2%percent milk available... Also there was police officers there due to someone whom got caught stealing so 3 cops were in the building at the time...

This is my neighborhood Food Lion. Aka my Roar Store!! I love this store and the staff employed there. These people become like family, friends, & neighbors, not just people who work where you shop. I know a lot of them by name and they know me. The manager is awesome and so sweet. They are all very polite and go out of their way to help you. David who works there stocking has been there at least since I was pregnant with my youngest child who is now 11 and he is like an old family friend to me. They keep this store clean & they try to keep it as well stocked as they can. In these days it can be hard to do, Especially due to Covid & the many shortages going on.

I've been shopping at this store for over 20 years and while it has changed over that time, the good customer service has remained. The staff is always helpful and friendly, especially folks in the the deli. The store has a good selection, although I have noticed they have quit selling certain brands (example: Buddig thin sliced lunch meat pouches and Food Lion brand premium canned soups. Also I wish they had more diabetic friendly Food Lion brand products. One more area that needs to be addressed is the managment allowing people to prowl the parking lot asking customers for money as we enter and exit. That needs to be addressed. The store has a security guard, the guard should be handling that. Overall a good place to shop.

I will never shop at food lion again as long as I live after what I saw today. A manager harassing a cashier to pull his mask up while it was already up, in front of everyone while she herself was not wearing a mask and neither were 3 people standing with her. I asked her where her mask was and she said she was vaccinated. So, apparently food lion practices segregation and harassment based on peoples private medical information. I am so disgusted with your policies I am physically sick to see the abuse and I'm not going to give one more dollar to mask abusers including food lion. Stop the madness.

1. The employees smoke outside the door.2. The produce is horrid. I gave it a chance multiple times because this store is on the way to my mom's where I pick up my child at times, and it's convenient. Sad, sad, sad. A bag of apples that tasted like mold--I had to throw away. Rotten tomatoes and then this lemon I tossed in my cart only to find had rotted when I got home--same day.3. One elderly couple was coughing and hacking so badly all over the produce section and their cart full of groceries that a manager finally asked them to leave. This was during our Commonwealth's mask mandate. They never enforced it and this has been my observation in other local Food Lion stores.

Pros: Decent selection of food items. I've never had an issue checking out quickly. A great bakery department. Cons: Not as nice as some other markets. Small produce section. No real health conscious aisle

Not in the nicest part of town. I mean, lock your doors for sure but there's an armed security guard in the store and their selection is just as good as any food kitty. I even see the preachers buying boose here after church, it's that fine of an establishment.

The General manager at food Lion on Florida Av. Lynchburg VA, She really has turned that place around since she been there. Because that place used to be a dump before she got there, bum's would meet you coming and going when you get to the store and inside the store was very nasty, but look at it now. Great job manager lady you are the best, I hope the company gives you a bonus for cleaning up the place and again great job 👍

Guys, if you want a pretty decent selection of curry this is the place to go. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only that but they had a great variety of food. O don't really care for the prices. But pay for the convince of the store location. I don't even care I'll go back Everytime for the curry alone.

Cashier started bagging next customers order before I had paid for mine in process bags got mixed and I was shorted one bag of merchandise. No receipt givin had to repurchase items in bag :(

Everyone who works there has a kindness and a commonality to help the customer in a continuous way from the manager to the checkout, to the stockers. If you don't see a product, the store will look to see if it can be ordered for you. Now THAT is greatness!

Manager Kertrina Donigan is the only reason we all shop there. I'm 8 miles from here and 2 miles from the closest Food Lion to my house. I'm .5 miles from Kroger and .25 miles from Walmart. Stores she be at seem to be more professional, friendly and productive.

I was going there with the intentions of not finding what I needed, and what do you know I found what I needed, thank you Food Lion for having the low-carb breads, I would have had to go to Aldi's for this bread. Keep up the good work.
