I wasted my time driving to this AAA location. We are taking a European vacation for four people. We had researched flights and pricing, which was amazingly higher in price than a couple of years ago, pre-covid. So I was hoping that AAA might find lower pricing than what I could find. I walked in around 10 AM on Tuesday, showed my AAA card, and said that I needed to get some competitive airfare pricing. Even though I was the only customer in the building and there were at least four employees at desks being casual, I was told that they could not see me without an appointment, and the earliest would be on Friday. Sorry, but this is poor service, not even to ask me any brief details of my request. This is just another in a string of incidents over the past few years that have me wondering why I continue to maintain my AAA membership.

I signed up for a membership at this store, with a transfer from the previous state I lived in. Not only did they sign me up for a NEW membership, they never canceled my old one or even transferred me to VA.The level of incompetence is appalling. I was charge not only for myself, but for my wife’s membership as well. And neither of us have gotten cards, which I have called and left numerous voicemails for.I have had to deal directly with a AAA corporate office in order to not only get a refund, but to actually be assigned to the proper district for my membership.Do not use this office, just use AAA over the phone or online, you will save yourself time and money.

We went here to get passport photos and to browse travel trinkets. The woman who helped us went out of her way to accommodate our children. I would highly recommend this AAA location.

Battery dead, I'm out of state and left my new card at home. Was able to call office and get roadside assistance to bring a new battery to my location in Florida and install it. HOW GREAT IS THAT!!! Everyone was so nice and helpful. A big thank you to Demoss and James. 🙂

I booked a getaway trip to Disney World for myself and my husband in September through this company for early January. I requested a king size bedroom with a garden view. I called Disney in November to verify everything was all set and was told we only had a room with two beds. I asked the AAA agent and she told me she had messed up the reservation when we changed the week for work reasons. She then did nothing to recitify the situation. Long story short, we ended up with a handicap room overlooking the laundry mat with two small beds - so much for our romantic getaway. I would not recommend booking travel through this company. I know I will never use them again.

This is a great AAA store to visit! Someone greets you as you walk in. Everyone in the store is polite, personable and professional. Insurance, travel needs and member services handled with a smile. Everyone treats you like you're their best friend.

We planned a trip to Ladson, SC Called to rent a car and make a mistake in stating the time we would return the car. We got charged for 3 days instead of 2 so called the Lynchburg office and after much explaining we were sent to a supervisor. Explained the problem to her and she stated since we had listed a driver other than myself she had to talk to that person. This happened to be my Granddaughter and we wanted to designate her as the driver. I tried to tell the supervisor it was my card and we had never had a problem doing this with other companies. She insisted on talking to my Granddaughter. I asked her to look up my card info as we have three people on that. The card number was in my name and my Granddaughter is listed on that membership. Well to make a long story short if I can. My granddaughter called her and we were given a conformation numrer QK4QFG. We thought we were set. No, when my Granddaughter went to get the car we had been transfer to National and she could not be listed as the driver. I am 80 years old and do drive but was not planning on driving for 6 hours to SC. I had to drive to Lynchburg from Altavista to sign the paperwork and give them a credit card and still be listed as the Driver. I have been a member for over 30 years and when my Granddaughter called the Lynchburg office from the Airport she was told we should have gone to Hertz. We did pick a car from the Hertz but the one we wanted was not available and we did not know we had been transferred to National. The gentleman there was extra nice and tried to accomodate us but I still had to be listed as driver. The supervisor at Lynchburg was so interested in tell me that the company would be in trouble if they let someone change a reservation. If she would have looked up the membership as I asked she could have worked with us to make our travel much easier. I have used your service many time to have a someone tow one of our cars and have always been amazed at the wonderful service we had with AAA. I would be very reluctant to use the Lynchburg office for my travel plans, The customer is not always right but the is a problem when the supervisor will not even look the membership information to verify who she was talking to. The great price you gave for rental of a car was wonderful but not when I had to load up a 4 year old and drive 30 miles to the airport to find our that I was expected to drive 6 hours to my destination. Thank you for you patience in reading this long review and hope to be able to use your company the next time I plan a trip but would be reluctant to go through the Lynchburg office. If I could have given less than one star I would have. My daughter, who has AAA coverage, was left stuck in the snow because AAA would not tow her out. They said the street had to be plowed before they would come! If the street had been plowed, she would not have been stuck in the first place. How ridiculous. I will not renew.
