We were visiting Shenandoah National park this weekend and looking for somewhere to leave our dogs. I always nervous to leave them new places but mystic had great reviews. They definitely lived up to their reviews! They even groomed one of my pups while she was there and she looks amazing. They were well taken care of, happy when we picked them up. They were easy to communicate with, gave me updates when I called to check on them, played with them, etc.. would highly recommend to anyone considering. They definitely care about dogs and want to make them feel comfortable during their stay.

Love this place! We’ve been taking our dogs here to get groomed for a few months now and have nothing but great things to say.They always get us in the schedule quickly, we don’t have to book a month or more in advance like our previous groomer. The staff is very friendly too, I feel comfortable leaving my dogs with them. And we love the haircuts! They always give you the exact cut you ask for, no surprises here when you pick up! 10/10

I have been taking my Miniature Schnauzer to Mystics to be groomed for over a year. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.They are so good to my Ruth and she always looks great when I pick her up.

I was nervous dropping my dog off for her first time away from me but she did great. She's very anxious. I love the care they gave her and how they took the time to figure out what worked best for Fawn. I'll definitely be using them again when needed. It feels great to find a place you can trust.

We tried this place for the very first time today for our Gracie and Zeus! The staff was AMAZING and had such reasonable prices. They were amazing with both of our dogs and they looked so good when we picked them up! Definitely worth the drive for us and we will continue to use them for grooming and start boarding there! <3

Nice little pet care business. Only used once. They took care of my dog while I kayaked on the river. They seemed to do a good job, nice folks and clean facility. I'll use them again next time I want to get on the river for the day.

My 3 dogs spent the weekend at Mystic Pet resort while we attended a wedding in the area. I was a little nervous about leaving them at a facility that I didn’t have a personal referral too.When I picked them up they were fine and all went well. The owners were kind, caring and knowledgeable.

Garath and Lena run a CLEAN kennel and they genuinely care about your furbabies. Have been using them for 20 years with ZERO problems. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

We wouldn’t leave our dogs anywhere else! We have 2 dogs with special care needs and Gareth takes care of them like they are his dogs. Our dogs get so excited when they find out they are going to see Gareth and Lena.The grooming service is also excellent. Mary and Lena groom our little Bichon at least once a month. She is always so beautiful! Lena is extremely knowledgeable about pets. She has helped us many times with nutritional advice and health information. we are so lucky to have such a top quality kennel in this area.

This place is Phenomenal! Everyone in the place is exceptional. My doggy loves this place and loves all the people. I couldn't have my pet in a happier, better place. But they're selling it, I'm sad.

We found Mystic Pet Resort and Spa while searching for a place to take care of our pups while we enjoyed a hike in the local area that does not allow dogs. We couldn't have been happier with the service we and our dogs received! It was clear that our dogs had grown comfortable at their business in the short time they were there. They also received lots of human contact and love, just like we would give them. We were offered a tour right away without even asking for it. That is always a good sign to me that they have nothing shady to hide! They earned my full trust in just this one visit and I would definitely use them again! Thank you Mystic Pet Resort and Spa!!

We had never boarded our 1 year old heeler before and we unfortunately needed to due to our upcoming vacation. The first and second places I checked were booked but Mystic was not. I read the reviews and decided to book with them. I am so so happy we did. I called every day and was able to get an honest update. The main gentleman I spoke to took amazing care of my boy and eventually he got comfortable with everyone and the environment he was in I no longer worried about him. We will be using Mystic in the future as I now know my boy is in amazing hands.

This was mine and our yorkie (Cassie) first visit. I was impressed with the entire staff. They were courteous, informative, and showed gentle care. They groomed Cassie and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend your pet to Mystic .

I cannot recommend Mystic Pet Resort & Spa enough for our week long camping trip to Luray. We used their day boarding services for our pup so we could spend the day at Luray Caverns and also some time in the National Park without worrying about the day being too much for our young pup. She had a great time and was excited to go back a second day. The staff were so kind and helpful with recommendations in the area too. Thank you!

We boarded our dog with Mystic Pet Resort for a few days and had a good experience. We could tell the owners truly cared about our dog, which is very important to us as he's a member of our family. I started to give Mystic 4 stars because upon pick up we were told cash or check but no debit or credit cards which was a bit of an inconvenience, but I went ahead and gave 5 stars because I know he was well cared for and that's more important to us. If we're in the area again we will definitely use again and highly recommend!

Been using to groom 3 rescued Yorkies for approximately 4 yrs now. Owners and staff always excited to see us as well as others brought through their door. They show concern for anything they may see or find on my girls, are adamant regarding necessary shots (thank goodness!) and willing to share knowledge. They offer top grade pet foods (and supplies) which I purchase because there’s no other place locally offering them.Through their farm, they offer fresh eggs and pork. Both of which are excellent and prices appropriately.Caring folks willing to help and always do a fine job on my girls. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We had our 2 dogs boarded here during the day while we went to the caverns in town and they were AMAZING. They were very friendly and reasonably priced and took such good care of the dogs! Would 100% use them again or recommend them to others!

We had our Shih Tzu/Bichon mix dog groomed here several times and they do a great job. He went in desperately needing a professional grooming and came out looking and smelling great. Everyone is very friendly. We will be back.

My dogs are always happy at Mystic Pet Resort. The owners, Lena and Gareth, are always very accomodating and treat my dogs like family. Never worry when my dogs stay with them. Very clean. Lots of time outside for play.

Lena and Garith, the owners, live up to their establishments name by treating our pets entrusted with them better than their own. On 2nd boarding he spent about 2 hours just giving my dog, at the time a recent rescue dog, much appreciated personal attention. My dog became relaxed and attached to Garith and then Lena. We now live several hours away from Luray yet still bring our dog to them knowing he is in good and caring hands. Thank you Garith and Lena.

The guy who owns this dog prison Gareth "Kangaroo Jack" Price behaves like he is irritated when customers come by for the simplest services such as Dog washing/grooming.The owner of the small business has accumulated a reputation in the local Luray community for being aggressive, racist and difficult to communicate with. I have personally witnessed him get into a physical confrontation with a customer and reportedly needed to have his neck saved by his pleading wife on more then one occupation. If this is how the owners treat humans...imagine how they treat your pets.
