THIS 711 off Gunston RD in Lorton VA locks their doors and closes their store everyday at midnight 12AM. A bit confused after the 3rd time going there I asked the 711 Associate why? He pointed to a sign that said “closed” but then pointed to another sign that said in short, police are on duty at this particular location to “ deter crimes.”Noticing my complex expression the 711 Associate said “the police make us close store at midnight.”My questions to the owner of this 711 Franchise is… Will this be a new policy for ALL 711’s to close early or just yours off Gunston Rd??? Are the Fairfax County Police forcing you to close your business early?? Finally, if it is true that you will be closing early, what is the reason this decision was triggered? I have always felt safe no matter the time visiting your establishment and the convenience of this location was a plus especially, for late night runs. Whatever the reason is, I’m wondering if this will be a trend nation wide.

I read a review here that said a greeting goes a long way and it’s true. Nice peeps in this location. They’ll greet you as soon as you walk through the door and when you exit. Best 7-11 service fr. Parking is scarce and the location itself is tucked away in the corner but definitely worth going here if it’s in your route

Was poor service, I rang up $22 worth of food. I specifically told the clerk I was going to put what I bought in the car and my friend was still in the store looking at something to drink and food and that I would be paying for him after I put my food in the car. My friend was on the phone looking at drinks when the clerk proceeded to walk up to us saying “are you stealing, my store has already been robbed 4 times this months after I had returned words saying “I already bought $22 worth of food what business do I have stealing?” We had finally got to the counter where he had finally rang my friends food up, I then proceeded to take a picture of him and he kept repeating to me “I can take pictures too” Then he grabbed his phone then touched my friends food, then he kept asking for payment from my friend before I had to make it clear I was paying for my friend and had told him. Do better please.

A simple greeting makes a big difference. I pass by this store vs any other one due to the simple fact that I get greeted as I come in the store and treated with respect as a paying customer. Not a single other 7-11 I been to, and I been to a lot of them, as I am in the landscaping industry, treats you like these guys do. Stay consistent and that will take you guys much further!

These people are scammers. On multiple occasions they would not honor the corporate deals for coffee. I showed her the offer and she refused to acknowledge it as legitimate. I even mentioned the banner sign over their doorway. You need to keep an eye on them. They are scammers! It was just a dollar saving and they wanted to scam me. Beware!

Very friendly staff. They engage the customers as they walk in and make a genuine effort to make small talk at the register. Clean store also! We camp every year up at pohick bay. And make a point of stopping in every day on the way out for coffee.
