Good location and they do work hard to keep their areas stocked. Needed to ask a couple of questions about a Storm Door...could not get an associate after several tries. Bought the door and got lucky that we were able to install without getting our initial questions answered. They seemed to be short staffed for a Saturday morning.

Feb 1, 2024. I have called and spoken with the Install Sales Office and I am supposed to be hearing from the installers who will come back to the house and take their own pictures of the flooring in question and then a claim from Lowes will be filed with StainMaster. I will update as this issue progresses.We purchased sheet vinyl for a kitchen floor. Looked at sample on large roller in flooring section. Made the mistake of not looking at reviews for the particular pattern. It was installed today. They did a fantastic job but if there is an uglier pattern I haven’t seen it. I took photos and went back to the store and met with John in flooring. The large sample on the display roller we looked at isn’t there anymore. It was in November when we saw it. He opened another roll and it’s ugly as well but not near as horrible as the batch we got. He said there are variations in dye lots. I don’t know what recourse we have . We’ve spent a lot of money on something that truly isn’t fit for even a work shed let alone a kitchen. If only I had read reviews . It looks like someone ran over it with a wheeled machine with black tar on it… not a marble print at all. If there is any customer service at Lowe’s I hope they will assist us with this .

Purchased 3 strands of GE Christmas lights and placed them on an outdoor tree at Thanksgiving. By the first of the year one strand completely did not work, the other two only half of the lights on each strand worked. Removed them from the tree and verified that the fuses were still good then tried to return them on Jan 10th. The return personnel nicely informed me that by policy these types of things cannot be returned after Christmas. The fact that they were junk and only lasted a month made no difference and not even a dollar could they provide for my inconvenience. My conversation with the store manger was not as cordial. It seems he had already made is mind up and was not willing to budge from "company policy". I think if he had said "I'm really sorry for your inconvenience" and not interrupted me while trying to state my case, then I would not be writing this review. While the lights were under warranty, I had no desire to get them repaired. The fact that all 3 strands failed in about one month demonstrated the poor quality and low probability of future longevity. I did not want to deal with the experience next year. Anyway, I feel that after all the thousands of dollars I've spent at Lowes they would take into consideration the situation involving less than $100 and attempt to make some sort mends. And at least be more polite. It also seem a commons sense thing to do as now it will be the last place I shop. To some extent, I don't blame the local Lowes manager for his position and behavior. It is reflective of the Lowes corporate culture where they are too big to care and hide be hind policy for which no one could identify the author.

I love to shop for plants at this store. I collect succulent and cacti and I can always find a large variety of those types of plants at this store. It's very organized and very clean store. I highly recommend it and I will shop there again.

Went look for weatherstripping for my exterior door. Went down aisle 4, to the end, and found 3 associates talking. One asked if they could help me, I showed them a piece of stripping I was looking for. She pointed to general area and went back to talking to her two friends. Usually you cannot find an associate to, to find one is surprising. To find three is even more surprising but to get no help is socking.I called to complain, took 12 minutes to get someone to answer the phone. I got transferred and that person hung up on me without even talking to me.So, I went home and ordered what I need from good old Amazon.

Unbelievably bad customer service. 2 1/2 weeks ago, I ordered roofing shingles and a number of other items online. Most of the items arrived and were picked up, but the shingles were scheduled to be available later, on May 15. On May 15, I received an email that they were delayed. Today, I called customer service to ask when the might arrive. After being hung up on 3 times, I finally got through to a customer service agent for Lowes (Tiki). Tiki asked me to hold while she called the distributor/manufacturer. She came back and told me that the shingles I ordered were no longer available and that the store should have notified me that they were canceling the order. They didn't. She then offered me a 10% discount on the remaining order. While I was waiting on hold, I searched the Lowes website and found another shingle that I could use, though it was slightly more money, BUT it said they were in stock. When Tiki came back, I asked if in addition to the 10%, they could deliver the alternate shingles at no cost as a courtesy due to the delay and inconvenience. Once again, I was put on hold. When she came back this time, she said they could only give me coupon code for a future purchase. WHAT? She said the 10% was no longer valid and that was all she could do. I spent over 1 1/2 hours on the phone and got nowhere. I asked to speak to a manager and of course, no manager was available. Home Depot here I come.Update May 20I spoke to the assistant store manager at the Lewisburg store. She was extremely helpful. She had received an email from the telephone customer service people and was therefore familiar with the issue. We found alternate shingles and they are being delivered next week. Moral of the story is avoid the online app and especially the online customer service line. From now on, I’ll just talk to the store people the first time. Increased the star review to 3 (1 for the online and 5 for the in store experience).

Lowe's is Lowe's. We know what they carry, expect hit or miss expertise and advice from the employees, and get frustrated when their app says they have plenty of an item but it's nowhere to be found.This Lowe's has found a new low by inventing the in-person pop-up ad. An employee pushing a cart approached a customer next to me today and asked if he had a Lowe's card. Upon learning he only had a Lowe's Business card, she kept pushing a second Lowe's card. She then rolled over to me and appeared personally offended when I told her I wasn't interested. Is Lowe's corporate condoning this?

Absolute worst store in the history of all stores!. I feel like I've wasted way too much of my life on this place. Lost ordered items... mis-priced items...damaged special orders etc. I love the old guy that usually works the lumber and garden register who has been there forever. He's the nicest and most knowledgable employee in the place. The rest of the employees are usually rude and argumentative. I've had multiple women on the registers snap at me when they were 100% in the wrong. I've been forced to shop here for years because of proximity. However tonight was my last night at that store. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and so should you!

I wouldn't go here and shop again of it was the last home improvement store in VA. If I could give this store and it's workers no stars then I would have.Went into the store on May 7th to buy a washer. Associate said they had the washer in stock and it would be delivered on May 20th, expect to hear from delivery drivers the day before with a 4 hr window of when it would be delivered the next day. May 20 comes and hadn't heard nothing so I call the store. Associate that answered was very rude and so was store manager as well. They told me that they no longer sold the washer that I was supposed to be delivered to me and they didn't know how they could help me. They wasn't going to call and let me know anything all. They were going to keep my money and still give me no product. They were not even going to look for a solution. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks that work at the Lexington VA Lowe's. Their homeoffice definitely needs to look more into the management and workers they have at this store. This kind of treatment to customers will ruin them. I will no longer shop at Lowe's.

Love this store. The endcaps are definately the place to find the deals of the day. But in general they always have stuff on clearance just have to look for itFound everything I needed and a little bit more. Plus they offer a 10 percent military discount and veterans reserved parking spaces. Thanks Lowe's!!!Update...... Had a hard time today finding someone to help me out. I realize it's Monday about 5 pm but usually the store is buzzing like a beehive with workers asking if you need help. This evening I had to look for an employee to help me in the construction supply area. It was just weird..... Hope it doesn't stay like that. Maybe they are just short-staffed or it was a scheduling mistake or maybe just an off day. But it was definitely not as normal.Thank you

Delivery is handled by XPO and third party. I spend approximately 75-100K per year at this store and have watched the service collapse in the last two years. I have had drywall delivered and damaged on site, damaged before delivery, and always delivered late or not at all. Inside delivery of drywall didn't happen at all one time though I paid for it and they just left it outside to get moisture and be damaged further. The appliance delivery today never happened although I called XPO and they told me I was the "next stop". The appliance wasn't even on the truck. Four calls and this is what I end up with. Lowes put so many out of business and now they have failed to even live up to sub-par. Go to home depot or maybe spensors home supply and try your luck with service there.

I felt very safe and valued here. The employees all wore masks. Almost every customer wore masks. The employees were very helpful. One department manager assisted me with getting vinyl gloves for the foster care agency where I work. Great experience!

The store itself has most everything we've needed for home improvement projects, and the employees are often helpful. My main complaint is with their home "improvement" service that does installs in the home. We had a bathroom built onto our existing porch 2 summers ago. The contractor and crew took much longer than estimated, and there were numerous issues along the way. Then, this past winter our bathroom porch flooded due to a leak from the improperly installed plumbing. It was more than a year after the work, so Lowe's was no help at all (even though the independent plumber advised our homeowner's insurance that it was due to shoddy work, and they alerted Lowe's). More recently, we asked for an estimate to get a floor installed because they had a great special on Pergo. It took less than a week to get someone out to measure, but now it's been more than a week since they measured, and still no estimate from Lowe's. An associate called me the day after the measurements to ask what floor we wanted and said they would call right back. We are looking elsewhere for a contractor. We will continue to buy products from the store.

Always had good service and help with some of the heavier items I've been picking up. My only complaint, and this is unlikely to matter to anyone else, was the state of the incredibly sad looking carnivorous plants. I almost bought them all just to nurse them back to health.

Terrible customer service. Ordered some lumber to be delivered Friday (building a deck) and never showed! Next they said it would be delivered Saturday morning. Morning comes and goes finally received delivery and the order was completely wrong! Total lack of respect for everyone's time (had a bunch of people called in from out of town to help) and the service we thought we were paying for! Disappointed and extremely frustrated with their inconsistent organization and inconsiderate customer service 👎
