First off, I wanted to extend a special thanks to the young lady whose name clearly is not Michael but whatever your name is, ha ha, thank you very much for helping my girlfriend, and I find liquid death in the back and it was definitely our pleasure to hold the door for you, as you were able to stock it up for other customers. Also, I want to express thanks because we were 50 Cent short and somebody had left change. You were able to use to help us, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate that and I am grateful for your customer service.

My wife and I spoke with the managerJessica about a couple of issues we were having. Little did we know we had just met one of the most compassion, helpful, joyful, and loving person in the world. She blessed us with what we needed for us to be able to carry on our way. Normally I don’t complain because I love Love’s and usually all my experiences are great… but after being on the road for at least a week between showers (such is the life) it’s very disappointing to have a disgusting shower. The grout build up on the wall was so nasty and the toilet had obviously not been cleaned. Very disappointing.

At 5:45 PM, I waited 3-4 minutes until someone from Subway restaurant came out to make my sandwich. During this time, I called out twice. It turned out there are 3 ladies working, but not one bothered to attend to customers. Not a single word of apology or thank you after I got my order and paid.

My fiance and I went up for some subway last night around midnight because we don't live far and love that it's a different late night dinner than what Mt. Airy has to offer. Michelle was there by herself and one person kept creeping in after another. We work in the food industry and know that that pressure is a little uncomfortable, especially when the person ordering wants 4 things (the pretzel and churro are really good btw) .. we were being a little needy. The other half likes her bacon crispy so she had to cook that first before toasting the sandwich. Nothing unusual for me but for the employee we can be considered "those annoying customers" lol Michelle was smiling and polite the whole time and we could tell she was nervous for the 6 people waiting behind us but she probably handled them just as well too.It was the best subway I've ever eaten.We have been coming to loves occasionally for 10 years and very rarely have a bad experience here. So I wanted to share the good experience we had last night with Michelle because we felt she deserved a shout out!

Ms. Haiegh, the manager, should be in a Loves commercial. She leads through competence and friendship. All the males in the shop look to her.She is even polite to the call ins on the phone, when swamped with other responsibilities.And she fixed my truck, of course. Always nice to see a shop run like the spirit of the Midwest, outside of the Midwest.I sure wish TA was more like Loves, or loves built more ❤️'s.

One of our drivers forgot the CDL at this store, Mr Josh who is the manager took care of it and mailed it back to us. He was very polite, very nice person too. We cannot thank him enough for helping us with this. Thank you Mr Josh.

You need to hire different managers! Was treated like a child because the lottery machine malfunctioned!! Gave me quarters and said “ I will give you quarters so you won’t put it back in the machine” No worries i will never be back! Lottery commission should investigate! If she treats everyone that way nobody will’ play the lottery!

Super nice and clean facilities! The showers here are pretty big comparatively to other Love's Truck Stops. The Love's employees seem a little over worked but they still have great personalities. Much love to them and what they do. This Love's stays extremely busy. The McDonald's here takes forever to get out an order.

Shower rating. Have you ever had a homeless man gently pee on you? That is what I would imagine this shower was like. I guess the water did eventually become what could technically be called hot but I dont like to skate on technicalities I want to be certain. Also it was installed all wrong. Like I hope whoever installed it got hit by a car as he was leaving. Not like struck dead but crippled enough to get out of the shower installing business and if he did somehow manage to install another shower I hope his wife was then struck by a moving car, again not in a way that killed her but in a way that assured there would never be any children by this man. That would be my dream.

Bad setup, true shop, and repair shop are right where the fuel island line is. Would have to wait until fuel island line clears before you may have a chance to backup to the repair bays.Older gentleman for the repair bays wouldn't check my truck for a mid trip inspection in the lot as the fuel island line was lined up out to the road and wouldn't reserve a parking spot due to not having any more drive hours for the day left. I had all the stuff he would have needed for the midtrip(depth guage, pressure guage, and battery-powered grease gun)Sounds like he didnt want to do a little extra footwork and convince for service.

We stopped here to get gas today. The pumps theoretically dispense gas, but they would freeze whenever we tried with our card. The staff were no help whatsoever. Had the same experience at two different pumps. Ended up getting $20 of gas with cash and will go to another station.

People we very nice. Gave extra towels when asked. Hot shower with decent pressure. It was a treat as a woman to walk in and have a nice heart shaped wash cloth. The extra touches do make a difference. The shower floor looked discolored but was clean. Thanks for a good stop.

By far the worst designed lot I've ever seen. Every time I've pulled in here, it's been horrific just trying to get to a gas pump. This is the last time ever.

Truckers:Showers a bit on the smaller side, going to talk about shower 1 specifically. Hottest temp was just enough to not be cold. I had to fix the handle holding up the shower head, you're welcome lol. Pressure wasn't out of this world, but did the job. The rest room was clean and this was the first loves where they took out the time to put the shower rag in a little heart so I added a star. 2.50 wash and dryer, dryers hot enough to have a hefty load and dry in one go. The card pay option was out but they did give me change for them. Overall not too bad, up at 0130 and still spots to park at though it is Sunday lol

I guess when you have a little girl still liveing home with her parents running the shop it would explain all your short comeings. Worst shop iv ever seen and I like stopping at loves usually!

They have the same items as most other convenient stores.. as far as night management, they allowed a subway employee to harass me on camera, video & audio while the employee was on the clock.. they asked me to not come back because a family member of mine broke up with their employee the day prior off the clock and impersonated Subway corporate employees. They are currently getting Love’s sued. An attorney has been contacted & maybe they will choose more responsible management next time who take accountability for what goes on, on their shift.

Card reader on kiosk wasn't working, so hit the button to pay at register, but no receipt printed off, no one at register to talk to about placing an order, and finally an incredibly long line which told me maybe I should just leave. 😒Store was clean... so I guess there's that.

Everyone was extremely friendly. The store was busy but the staff had the lines moving quickly. Courtney in McDonalds was extra helpful with my kiosk issues. She should train others in customer service. Great job!!

We love this Love's. Good spot to stretch the legs and a very nice sized fenced in dog park. We let ours run for a few minutes to tire her out as we get ready to keep traveling. Clean facility. Trucks have a separate entrance so you don't have to worry about driving amongst them if you aren't a fan. Coming north on I-77, it is the first exit as you enter Virginia.

They have everything you could possibly need. They even have those awesome little STOK shots to add to your coffee. Restrooms are clean and the toilet stalls are very privately enclosed with stone instead the usual vinyl enclosures. Great rest stop!

We always stop here and the is always clean and kept up, but understaffed... Pumps need work (diesel)... OMG... How long should it take to get a TIRE changed... Here Two hours and still waiting... Finally got the tire pull down to top off and guess what... Half the pumps aren't working.... Were in the tire check to fill up... Come on Love's got to do better!!!!

Showed up on 01/18/21 on road call for trlr 372920. No gas for compressure . Had to wait tell 01/19 in a m to get tires fixed . while waiting watched mech work on someone else's trck in front of shop. Poor service

I never went to a Loves truck shop and it takes forever, to get me in the shop. The bay is open and all the staff telling me different stuff. Just put a tire on the trailer. That’s it!!! They giving me the run around
