Looks kind of suspect upon first glance, but the rooms are IMMACULATE. Very clean, sinks and tubs were spotless, beds were clean and VERY comfortable, close proximity to the Homestead and places to shop and eat, and very inexpensive. We stayed here on a trip out of town for work. I would recommend this hotel and rate it a 11 out 10Rooms: Very clean and comfortable rooms.

The Roseloe is a great budget option for Bath County. While the rooms are older, they are updated with nice floors and furnishings. The bathrooms need some improvement but are clean. If you are okay with your standard economy hotel and don't need lots of extra amenities, then this is a great place for you! If you are expecting a fancy immaculate hotel, stay at the Homestead down the road and pay 5 times as much per night.

Arrived late and cold. Quick sign-in and the price was fair. I was located at the units towards the end of the building. Other motorcycles were already there. We had our own parking area and our bikes were parked right outside our room windows. Room (even the bathroom) was clean, the bed was bug free and comfortable. I controlled the room temperature and the ac was doing the job. Small fridge and microwave worked just fine. Two other bikers that I met in the morning were happy with this facility, as was I. Keep in mind, we didn't want or need a lot of amenities. The three of us were travelling long distances, in different directions, and just required comfortable sleep and a hot shower before leaving in the morning. Cable tv was good. Very quiet neighborhood. I left in the morning feeling sharp to ride and well-rested. My next ride is to the bourbon country in and around Lexington, Kentucky. The RoseLoe is located about half-way there and I will pre-reserve, for sure.Safety: I'd be more concerned about animals than criminals.Food & drinks: Couple of local breakfast options nearby. Easy access, home cooked and priced fairly. There are local, name brand, gas stations close by to get you started in the morning.

Super kind service. The rooms have seen better days- it was a bit dirty and we use Clorox wipes to clean up. It was close to the spa baths and in a very pretty location. The rooms definitely could use some love though.There were no tissues can’t lie that kinda stinks.

Pleasantly surprised. Clean room, smelled nice. Beautiful area. This is an old motel but well kept. The only thing that bothered us was the AC. wall unit kept shutting off and we kept waking up hot, turned it back on, fell back asleep and it would happen again. Finally my husband realized it was on “ energy saver”mode. Once he turned that off the unit stayed on. Went to the office around 7:30 the next morning to get coffee but they were closed. No big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

this place is so bad. walked into my room and the door was unlocked. checked under the bed the space is so big a couple people could fit. the windows are molding and pieces of the wall are gone. a person cant make this up. I am basically going to use this place to shower and sleep in my car; yes its that bad. I will post pictures in a few. i give this place a year or so and they will have to close, you can tell its on the slower end of things.

They just renovated the room I stayed in, and it was quite nice. I have enjoyed staying here in the past, but the updates are a real improvement! The manager was very friendly and hospitable. We actually had the power go out while I was here- the whole area went out due to a big storm. My room stayed reasonably warm for a night without power and there was extra blankets available in the drawer. When the power came back on, it was very quick to get warmed back up, since the room had a radiator and an electric heater. The manager made up my room, even with the power out. I was very impressed with the level of service, especially with the unfortunate weather. I will always stay here when I visit the area.

Staff was friendly and hospitable. Room was clean and well kept. I was scheduled to be at the motel on Friday after finishing a dual sport motorcycle ride, but due to an unforeseen repair on the motorcycle it put me behind schedule.... long story short l completed the repair and the trail that I was riding at a very late hour and a day behind schedule. I arrived at the motel at midnight and the night manager was very friendly and helpful even after being woke up. The next day I needed to wash my gear and clean up, this meant staying past check out time. The lady in charge for the day was very understanding of my situation and allowed me to wash and dry my riding gear. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking to stay at a clean reasonably priced motel. I will be a returning guest.

This is a clean and well maintained motel. I am normally sketched out by motels, but this place is recently updated and well managed. We reserved online after the front desk was closed, and we're greeted by the owners at 11 o'clock to be let into our room. It had a flat screen TV, a small kitchenette, and pretty much new everything. We will certainly be returning.

While I appreciate pet rooms and no smoking rooms, it is nice if they are clean ( my room had dirty bathroom), and out side each door was a chair and an astray overflowing with dirty cigarette butts. The TV did not work, the room with the ice machine was overflowing with dirty laundry. I would have discussed all of this with the management, but the office door was locked at 9am when I left.

Stayed at RoseLoe for several weeks, kept the rooms on the weekends that we didn't work, just wished the room service sweeped the floor and wiped down the rooms. Owners had some plumbing work done to the water system during the week, just wished they had told the customers that the plumbers would be in the rooms, that way we would not have gotten upset when we pulled into the parking lot as someone came out of our rooms. It almost got ugly. My room had the full kitchen and had the front desk replace the pots and pans, because they were damaged and not useable. But all in all a good place

Nice little motel. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay! We were only there for less than 12 hrs to sleep but our room was quite comfortable. My only complaint was that the walls are quite thin and our neighbors were up all hours of the night talking and carrying on loudly!

Just cause the bed was comfortable but the room stinks and the bathroom is even worse it smells of urine straight up urine I had to go to the store to buy cleaning product to clean the bathroom just to get it to smell better.it work for bit but I think they need to change or wash the shower curtain and the nonslip pad that's in the bathtub... Over all it got a beautiful view impressed with the bed I just think the bathroom the cleaning wise could be a lot better. 🤷

Very nice and enthusiastic staff, very nice character, interesting layout. Kittionette was a lovely feature with pots and pans included. The outlets and amenities were outdated, but there was a nice view of the mountains out front.

Horrible!! Power went out several times, when using microwave and space heater. Had to go around back of motel to trip breaker myself. Last but not least, person working here told me I had a choice, either use heater for my room to stay warm, or have microwave use. To heat my food.One more thing, pump for storm door is broken, all I hear is storm door opening and closing

It's a great family run place. Very friendly staff. Nice, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. It's the place to stay in town for people that don't want to pay crazy prices, but like a clean, nice place.

While visitors might be hesitant of the vintage decor and atmosphere, I had absolutely nothing to complain about at the RoseLoe. It was comfortable and clean, and my husband and I had a great stay.

Great bang for the buck. Not the cleanest room ever, a little dusty, but I can live with that. Great location and great value. Has what you need. It's cozy and I'll be back.
