We have a lot of old family movies on VHS that have been left sitting in my parents' basement collecting mold. The VCR won't play them and I couldn't find anyone local who would even try to clean them, so I picked out a couple and mailed them to Recapture to try their mold removal and cleaning service.Fast forward a couple weeks; I'm a bit down in the dumps because one of our dogs just died, but there in my inbox is a link from Recapture to download the excellently restored footage of my family's first dog the week we got her 33 years ago.I will definitely be sending Recapture more videos the next time I am visiting my parents.

In desperation, I took a chance on Jay Glenn and the folks at Recapture LLC to salvage a VHS tape of our old t.v. show from the late 1980's. Out of 100 shows, we only had 10 left since the station recorded over previous episodes.The tape was in a damp basement for decades. It was unplayable and encrusted with white mold throughout the cartridge and in the coils of the tape, too. A hopeless mess...until Recapture worked their magic.They saved everything! We are so happy.It took them a while to restore it and our memories are now renewed.They are the best! Absolutely! If you've tried the rest, now try the best!

I sent a bunch of VHS in to another company to be converted. They did a nice job, but one of my tapes was broken and coudn't be converted without repair first. That company didn't offer repairs. I'm glad I did some reasearch and found this company, Recapture, who could repair and convert the tape. I sent it in and they were able to repair and digitize. It was a simple and professional process an my order was completed promptly. Their prices are reasonable and I will consider them in the future for any conversions or repairs. Thank you!

I had 7 vhs tapes - all 25+ years old - converted to dvd. One tape needed mega-repair as well. Within 2 weeks, I received back all 7 on dvd, plus the original and repaired vhs tapes. EXCELLENT service. On tapes that had multiple recordings, segments were separated on the dvd as well. Quality - both audio and video - is the best you could possibly ask for from these old tapes! Two of them were previously converted from 8mm to vhs and now from vhs to dvd, and are in amazingly good shape. I am so happy with the results. I would highly recommend this service. The price of $135 for all this was more than reasonable for all the memories they saved for me! I can't thank ReCapture enough!
