Visited 1/4/24. Don't waste your time going here. The mall is small and half of the retail spaces were empty or closed. As you to see in the pictures, the mall was practically empty with customers.

Usually busy but not terrible. I'll be honest with you lot, I'm only posting a review so Google will stop asking me to. I come to this mall like once or twice a month and it's not terrible, never dirty and always well maintained. Love hot topic lol

It opens at 12:30pm on Sundays til 5:30 pm, not great. They are adding new stores, like 5 Below and Hallmark. Hope it brings life to the mall.

Clean. Lots of awesome stores to shop. Love Annie Ann's pretzel stand and the Chinese food next door. Like the arcade and the hobby horses for the children to ride through out the mall.

Overpriced shops and products that you can literally drive less than a mile away and save 20% or more $. Arcade steals money with their new card and no contact for reimbursement. The Chinese restaurant is only good if you get there early, after 12pm it is old and dry. I will say it is well kept and offers convenience an comfort but at a price $.

Superb! This mall is amazing with a great selections of stores! There is an amazing pretzel shopp there too with amazing cinnamon pretzel nuggets! The stores arent far apart and are easy to walk to. Great service is always close and are very helpful if your lost and if you need to know where to go!

It's not as great as when I was a child but they still have decent stores. The holiday picture stand is way over priced for the quality of pictures. Food court is alright.

Some lady yelled a bunch of slurs at me for taking this picture of her store. I was at the mall, its a public place, I was not in her store, I was in the mall, but she said super hateful things to me because I had the nerve to take a public photo in public.Really awful, never going back to this mall, despite vacationing closeby all the time.

I feel like the "Mall" experience has become less popular. However the Valley Mall is still an amazing place to shop and be amongst other people. It's always clean, and comfortable being there.

I'm excited about 5Below opening inside the mall. They are down to very few stores and what they call a food court, has 2 options and pretzels. Personally, I'll stick with online shopping.

Made a trip to Harrisonburg last night specifically to come to your store after checking your web site and seeing that you were open until 8pm. Got there before 6pm and store gate was down and store was closed. If you're going to close before the mall then you need to update your website!!! Came out in brutally cold weather for nothing!

Valley mall is a great place to go shop. It has changed over the years. But a good place to go. My favorite ice JC Penny's and auntie Ann's pretzels love those things

A cool mall that tries harder not to die or let it's customers down. A good places to take the kids, not much food options but found the mall to be alive and well. The variety of stores are satisfying and they even had a bouncing house that our kids loved. Also clean restrooms are nice. Some shops are doing better than others but the location is vibrant

Total dead zone. More and more stores close all the time and the ones that are there don’t have enough help. They need a decent restaurant to attract families to this mall, who would then stay to shop — for example a Red Robin.

Nice shopping in a condensed area. Good eating everywhere. Lovely mountain views in all directions. You can sit in your car anywhere along Rt.33 and stare out the window. So relaxing, can't wait to return!!

Employees at retail store.. didn’t acknowledge my daughter and I...sat on their phones the entire time. Glad we are honest and just walked out...they could have been robbed and never knew it.

This mall is going to be a ghost town in the near future if they don't get it together...I've heard many rumors the rent is too high but you can see they are desperate to just fill the empty stores with anything like people selling Tupperware and other junk or girls out cookies...it's weird. This mall looks like it's on the verge of going under!..that's really sad because when I was a teenager this mall was always busy and had every store open for business - nicer stores back then too!

As the years have gone by, the Valley Mall has become much more dated and much less relevant. Gone are the days of the food court, and packed corridors of shoppers. Fingers crossed that some new stores will come in and breathe new life into it!

I really enjoy going on biweekly mall trips here, its clean and mostly quiet when I go and I like the range of stores.
