my mom will come here i've gotten the kimchi here i think it's homemade and it was really good up there with pickles i'll like some of the asian style stuff like when i was a kid and i'd see a asian family home and apprecaite other demographics the different characteristics and traits um this is over near the va (veterans affairs) outpatient clinic being in harrisonburg can be fun to see the college campus haze and glaze

This is probably my favorite grocery store. It is small and not especially upscale, but they have a nice selection of oriental and Mexican food products along with great prices on fruit and vegetables (quality on those is generally good, but not always). Their fresh tofu (weekends only) is the best I've ever had. They also have fresh herbs like Thai basil and cilantro for very reasonable prices. Seedlings of hot peppers and Roma tomatoes in the spring are also great value.

Visiting the area and stopped in to buy a few things. Very well organized, clean, just needs more varieties of other Asian foods. Otherwise, it's an excellent place to buy Asian goods and produce.

Hidden behind "Taste of Thai" restaurant, this Thai/Mexican grocery has an amazing assortment of hard-to-find Asian and Mexican produce, including herbs like holy basil, Thai basil, culantro (also cilantro), epazote. Not all available all the time, of course. Ataulfo mangoes by the flat in season. Lemongrass, green papaya. Also they have fresh tortillas by the bag, sometimes still warm. Whole tamarind. All very unpretentious and reasonably priced.

I realized that there is less selections in freezer and refrigerator with Spanish items. Vegetables are lacking of items maybe waiting for a shipment because this is my second time that I noticed that.
