I work here part-time. Spring is always the best season. The best time to visit in the spring is early morning from 8am-10am. We receive large plant deliveries once or twice per week during the peak selling season.

I am here at the moment and this spot is jumping. A great deal of huge lawn riding mowers and ATV’s for sale.All stocked up with bunches of plants and trees. It is so full and green and lush in here. The garden area in certain spots are getting to be stocked up or maybe ppl have bought a great deal of items so far.Looks like a lot of ppl getting a lot of help today. That is always a nice sight to see.

The staff at Harrisonburg Lowe's are very helpful and friendly. I like that they give a 10% discount to veterans and have veterans parking spaces. My only complaint on this trip is that the system didn't apply the bulk price for the items we bought so we had to get help to checkout. The staff members were quick to help us, but the system should really be set up to give the prices that are advertised without needing an override.

While looking for various items, appliances, light fixtures, ceiling fans, bathroom fixtures we encountered very helpful Lowe's associates. Maya in appliances was top notch, friendly helpful, knowledgeable and patient - she definitely knows all the appliances features and brands! Doug in the light area also was helpful as was Chip in helping us find bathroom fixtures. All the associates made our job less cumbersome and we appreciated it!

Customer service is very poor at this Lowes location as well. Unable to find someone to help you, and when you do they tell you to just buy the item online. I was at this location and was looking for a push mower spark plug. Online inventory showed many were in stock, but none were on the shelves. Asked for help as an employee was walking by, and they didn't offer to help. I got the great response of, "If its not on the shelf we don't have it". I then informed them that online the item showed in stock in store, and I asked if the item was located in the back, and just hadn't been placed on the shelf. I was then informed to just buy the spark plug online then. Traveled quite the distance, because this was the only place I could find a spark plug for this particular mower, and I left the store frustrated and with nothing. I ended up going to Auto Zone who had employees there that wanted to help, and was able to help. Next time I need a spark plug I will just go there.

My husband and I went in purchased two big items and a few smaller items. We received the help in the departments that we were getting the items from. After payment was made, we asked for help to load these big items on the truck. We received no help at all. The girls in the front said they would get someone but they were so busy talking to each other to care about their customers. Thanks to a Good Samaritan we got our items loaded. The store definitely needs to work on customer service!!

0% customer service helping you load anything and you're lucky if you can find someone to help you find things. Materials on every aisle you're trying to shop. I'd say store needs help badly

Y'all NEED to hire more cashier's and actually open up the registers that aren't "assisted self checkout". I worked at Lowe's in Pennsylvania, and we always had at least 2 registers open and all of our self checkout. You're claiming you want it to be assisted self checkout, but when customers need help there's only one poor soul there to help all of them. My boyfriend and I have been strictly loyal Lowe's shoppers, but we're about ready to go to Home Depot instead.

Lowe's are short on help. However when I did someone to help me, they were very helpful and polite! I was greatful for the politeness as it's PR like this that will help me to decide to go back later!

Today was the first time I've ever had an associate rase the price on something at the register. I stop in often to look at clearance items and randomly come across some that ring up $0.02. They usually just ring them up and continue on. Today one rang up at 2 cents and they just guessed on a price and rased it to $8.49. Even after rechecked on their pocket computer that also told them it was listed at only 2 cents.

Taking advantage and of appliance (dryer) sale during January. Tyre ( Lowe’s sales re in store) did the order for us and scheduled the delivery for Monday January 29. The process from beginning to end was hassle free due primarily to Tyre.

This store scammed me by selling me defective LG appliances, out of 3 (about $5000 total) two appliances failed within just over a year. First the fridge after 6 months, while under warranty which took me almost 3 months to get refunded through LG and then the dishwasher after 13 months. After calling out the manager on their unwillingness to help customers and worse on their recommendation for LG appliances in the first place, he tells me that 13 months for a $800 dishwasher is acceptable and it's only because I had higher expectations on the product that I am disappointed. Is that a joke or just purely insulting?

Clean and well stocked. WAs looking for a Storm door that is not a common size. Hoping they would haveit in stock, they did have the size but was white and wanted black which is order only and takes a month. Ample parking and plenty of handicap parking.

Mateo who works in painting department has been very helpful and has very good customer service skills. Since I have a painting company, I spend quite a bit of money in Lowe's and Mateo has been very helpful in finding what I need, so no regrets. Thanks Mateo for your kindness!

We bought a freezer, waited a day and half to unbox & start it up, well the compressor wasn't kicking in so my husband called the store. 11/12/23 at around between 3 and 4 pm he always asks who he's speaking to so that he knows who he spoke to. Whoever the woman was was very rude & said I don't have to give you my name & hung up on him. After 2 more tries Tyree in appliances helped him.you need to talk to your employees on how to treat customers. Thank you Tyree for all your help.

Review changed to 1 star - they wouldn't allow me to return my products, as I am missing a few random receipts. I had managed to purchased alot of the electrical for my house on gift cards, and only some on my lowes card. They did let me return the products on the lowes card, but not the gift card. It would be a nightmare trying to keep every single one of those receipts!

Their website is impossible to check local availability. Looking to pick up a few items locally and when you bring up the item, their sites list stores all over the State many miles and hours away where the item is available instead of the select store you're searching in a specific location. Went there for 1 item for which they actually showed having store stock in my selected location, and it was no where to be found according to the inventory location specified on their site, no item was found and also confirmed by sales help at this store who said info from website is not reliable for their store stock. Very poorly designed website to bring customers to local stores. Went across the street to their biggest competitor, their website was accurate and correct showing inventory and location, and bought what I needed in mere minutes! Will not be returning to this store because there's too many hassles to find what I'm looking to purchase there anymore.
