I live 4+ hours away and when we visit Harrisonburg, we always make sure we stop here. I was disappointed this time.We ordered the j petal special, the beef crepe, and the j petal cocktail. All of them looked amazing. The sweet crepe lived up to expectations.The savory crepes were disappointing. There was no cheese on my beef crepe, and when I asked I was told they don't make them with cheese anymore. So, why would that be on the menu, then?The j petal special...the beef was inedible. It was so fatty that it couldn't be eaten.The beef was cold on both crepes. I brought all of the issues up to the workers and was told they would work on it. I was hoping I could leave this review saying that they remedied any of the issues, but they didn't.I no longer care about coming here. $41 for 3 crepes and only one of them didn't disappoint.Edit: My card was charged $49. I left a cash tip, too. So, $50+ for 3 crepes... I'm not happy. O wasn't given a receipt, either, so I can't even figure out what all I was charged for...

*****Update, came back the next day for a savory lunch crepe and it was really good. Tried two poke bowls, different teas, a different dessert crepe, and confirmed this place is really good.******We visited this place for a treat. The crepes are delicious, the ice cream is great, and the tea is on point. The crepes are cooked to order and artistically put together and the ice cream is made before your eyes. Yes, takes a minute, but how else would you get made to order? We'll come back to this place every time we visit Harrisonburg.

Driving through Virginia back to North Carolina stopped here for lunch, I left my prescription reading glasses and realized when we were already back in North Carolina! The owner took my call and was happy to take down my information and help in getting them shipped back to me within the week.The amnesties are couches and a swinging chair for couples and pictures. They offer every type of food so there’s no way you won’t find something you love. Love this place!!! My daughter and I treat ourselves here at least every few weeks. The staff is always pleasant. The atmosphere is laid back with nice upbeat music. My daughter usually orders blueberry boba milk tea and berry crepe. We have always been very happy with the service and food

I love J-Pedal! Their fruity drinks/tea and bubble tea and always refreshing and hit the spot. Their poke bowls are always made with fresh ingredients. They also make sweet and savory crepes and rolled ice cream with unique flavors, so they have a bit of everything. The atmosphere is laid back with bright lighting and comfy sofas. I always love coming here with a friend since it's a nice place to hang out.

I will definitely be back for Boba at this location. I was taken by a friend stating that J-Petal sells good boba for a good price. I loved the boba flavours that were available so I can’t wait to be back to try different ones.Delicious drinks for sure! The cups were very nice and modern looking and the best part: they are reusable!J-Petal sells amazing ice cream too! Everything they sell is high-quality, that holds high standards all for a great and reasonable price for their customers.

I wouldn’t recommend trying this place out, I only have two stars because the crepes were acceptable and they looked goodPoke: one of the worst I’ve ever had, I got the large for 18$ and got two salmon and one crab, it had 14 little pieces of salmon, I really thought it was a joke that that was two portions it was barely enough for two bites of salmon. The plate was just full of rice and sauces and covered with tempura flakes. If I’m honest it’s not even worth 5 dollars. Look at the photo and see.Crepe: looks good tastes not bad but I was so disappointed with the poke i wasn’t able to enjoy it.The staff: the guy was very nice and seems to know what he’s doing, the lady was very unprofessional and sketchy using her hands with the gloves on to check her phone and fix her cloths the cutting the avocados without changing her gloves. It was clear that didn’t want to be there, add to that that she seemed to be training a new person (I hope she doesn’t teach her to be like her)All in all I definitely won’t be back again and I wouldn’t recommend trying it out even though the photos may look good, or just get the crepe DEFINITELY DONT GET THE POKE

So I went two days in a row while staying in harrisonburg for a few days. I'm so said that I have to go back to my town where there isn't a J-Pedal! The food is amazing! I got the J-Pedal crepe for breakfast and the salmon lovers bowl for dinner along with their special drink! I love this place and will be back next time I pass through!!

The blueberry bubble milk tea was super delicious and sweet. It was like a blueberry pie filing.The poke bowl was super filing and delicious. The portions that they give doesnt look like it would be alot, but as you are eating it, you'll start to fill full especially since they give you miso soup too. The miso was alot very good, not watery, not too salt, it was just right.I would definitely recommend it to others to give it a try, especially if you are from out of town (and have lot of these places where you live). Only this J-Petal have thr Poke bowl. The one in Reston (if you're from around there) doesnt have the Poke bowl.

Love this place, I live in Waynesboro and will drive up just to eat here! The crepes are so good and there are tons of options. Boba tea is awesome get taro, coconut or mango with lychee jelly if you want it super tasty!What really surprised me was how good the Pokebowls were! Warm, delicious and tons of healthy toppings and actually good quality fish and veggies chopped up fresh right there.After filling up on everything I never have room for the rolled ice cream or the frosty ice dessert they have but they look amazing too.Great place for kids with huge couches, a swing and cute atmosphere. And big tables for college kids with a big crew.Any of the sweet crepes are perfection. The only bad I would say would be the savory crepes are usually kinda cold when they come out and the avocado in the beef crepe was not ripe one time but otherwise they tend to be pretty tasty.Kid-friendliness: Big couches, yummy kid options, they hand out free pocky to all the kids.

This place has so much potential. It started with a really very nice guy taking the order, but then the execution was nothing short of a disaster. It took 35 minutes to get the 3 items we ordered. This was mainly due to the curly haired staff on the rolled ice cream station, which seems to be more interested in flirting with each other than making the orders as they come in. The girl was just handing out ice cream to whomever stood there, laughing and joking with her colleague. She did not care if the people she gave ice cream to came in first or last. That was a joke and soured what could have been a great dessert evening. Also, hairnets would not be a flaw. The manager was, I think, not aware of the chaos. The rolled ice cream and crepes were good, but if it takes over 30 minutes to get your order with 5 waiting customers in the store when we ordered, that's bad. And one more recommendation, let customers know if you are out of berries when they order, not when they get their order and just add something else and tell them it is what it is.

Service and atmosphere are both nice! But the food seemed only okay to me. The poke bowl rice seemed a bit hard, the avocado was definitely hard and the beans were hard. Needed more soy sauce or some sort of sauce. The desert crepe was okay, but I could tell it was regular store bought ice cream and chocolates. Looks much better than what it was.

This is a really trendy and different place for Harrisonburg, and the Thai ice cream is super tasty. Only complaint I have is how long it takes even on weekdays for the line to move forward and to have your number called to even choose toppings. The crepes go a little faster, but still expect close to a 10 minute or longer wait. However, the food makes it pretty worth it!
