Some staff are nice so I hate to leave a bad review, but at least I have twice had my order messed up. Most recently, they actually stapled two bags together and one turned out to be empty and the other had a bottle of my med...but half the dosage I take. So one prescription was MIA and the other was half the dose what I needed. So I am screwed for a month because it's not like I can go ask for more because it's a medication. I get things happen, and it seems like there's a big staff turnover or most people are PT, but it has serious ramifications for people to not have the medication they need. I mean, come on, people.Normally I like using CVS in Target because you can use the CVS app to track and monitor prescriptions and then get things while you shop, but save yourself a world of heartache and look elsewhere for pharmacy service.Also, make sure you check GoodRx before you go because they don't always get the full discount which I get, but look out for yourself and don't pay $100 more than you need to.I apologize for the rant but I don't want anyone else to experience this.

When I got there, right away Jessica greeted me and said they would be right with me. Not a minute went by until Jessica came to help which she knows the names and birthdays if everyone I pick up for. It means so much when the team takes time to help and not just treat you like a number. After she came to help, John, the manager came up and told her he would take care of me because she was in the middle of doing something. He has not been there long but he knew my name! I definitely wouldn't want to get my prescriptions anywhere else! This team is wonderful!!

This CVS was located inside of a Target, which being a non-resident of VA took me by surprise, as I was expecting a drive-thru pharmacy, so it was a little more inconvenient than a Rite-Aid stand alone pharmacy would have been. Nonetheless, still efficient, timely service, even if it meant I spent more money at Target than at the CVS!

My wife and I switched CVS's 2 years ago. Reason being the CVS on Main (both in Waynesboro VA) was having issues staying open and taking weeks to fill prescription. Now the CVS in Target is operating in the same manner, but worse. On this date of Post this review. The pharmacy has closed 4 times and this last time they have been closed for 3 days straight. Moving our scripts to a different pharmacy that is NOT CVS. I hope this helps anyone considering this location.

This was once my favorite pharmacy, and I don't know what has happened but saying it has gone down hill is an understatement. There is no communication what so ever. My medication is out of stock and the only reason I know this is because I called wondering why it was taking so long to be filled. Would have been nice to know that morning, but no call was made. Was told it'd be in Monday... still didn't. Called Tuesday, still nothing. It's now saying Wednesday and I'm beyond frustrated considering this medication was supposed to be in my system as of Friday.of last week. Get it together CVS. I understand things being out of stock is beyond control, but communication goes a long way!

Highly recommend you guys hiring people that can speak English. There is one man that works in your place and he cannot hardly communicate because of how poor his English is. He is also very, very lazy. We have had many encounters with him. On one occasion, he was just standing there, and I came to pick my prescription up, he looked it up, realized it wasn't filled, and told me I'd have to come back another day because "he doesn't have time" SMH. Lazy!

We have been trying to get this pharmacy to answer the phone for the last 11 days. We are out of town and need to speak with them by phone. Out of desperation, we called the main line at Target, where the CVS pharmacy resides. A Target employee walked over to the pharmacy with me on the phone, and although helpful, the Target employee couldn't get them to ensure they would pick up their calls. Totally unacceptable. If at all possible, avoid this pharmacy at all cost.

Prescriptions are never ready when they are supposed to be. It’s happened to me three of four times. Lines are terrible. Prescription out of stock and and three days later it still was not filled and was told they wouldn’t have it for two more days. They never contacted me to let me know. Then because of the prescription it couldn’t be transferred to another CVS even though it was out of stock there. Terrible customer service. Would never recommend this pharmacy.

The customer service at this pharmacy is awful. Stephanie is uneducated and rude. She did not explain why, I as a Postal Worker couldn't get the 2nd dose of covid vaccine. All she said is your insurance won't pay for it. She then said I could pay for it out of pocket. Now why would that even come out of her mouth?She should've said I am Sorry we as a team wrote the wrong date down for you to come back in, that I can schedule you for tomorrow. I do not understand why it is so hard to educate employees on customer service. Had she of been friendlier and explained a little bit better, I would have been a lot better. Stephanie, this isn't the career for you. Kindness will get you everything. Try it!!!

Generally they are good, been going here for 6 years, started before it was CVS. Was better before, they are understaffed, that is the single biggest problem. However, in my experience the staff are good and efficient, just extremely overwhelmed. I thought about 3 stars, but they are good unless you are dealing with something out of the norm or a special request, then they aren't so good.

The CVS is located in The Target 🎯 Store in Harrisonburg VA.Medicines are Never Ready even if You call in a Day before and schedule a pickup. Don't Understand WHY?

Friendly service and I use this CVS regularly. My only issue is that they frequently send out texts--almost daily--but not the ones I really need (such as pickup is ready).

Good grief, don’t listen to these reviewers. I’ve been going here for years; pharmacy’s fine, staff aren’t rude, and it very much is located in this Target —there’s even a giant CVS logo outside of the building. I don’t think I’ve seen so many ignorant comments in one place.

No one ever answers the phone. They no longer have pharmacy techs there usually so the pharmacist has to do it all and they take forever. Don't EVER expect them to answer the phone because they absolutely won't. I will be having my prescriptions transferred elsewhere. Medicap in town has been great.

A CVS in a Target store! Don’t you dare ask the Pharmacy for help about a Target OTC product. They are CVS , they have nothing to do with Target! Target , get rid of of CVS, save your reputation, this a reflection on you.

Understaffed. Long lines and don't answer the phone. I've been on hold now for 20 minutes, and I think it will be quicker to get the doctor to transfer my prescription than to try to get it at Target/CVS.

If you have an allergy or can't have certain ingredients please don't go here. They honestly don't care and couldn't give the time of day. If someone would have an allergy that could cause anaphylaxis and they didn't care to look then they could kill someone. It's someone's life that could be at stake if you don't take allergies seriously.
