I’ve been to a couple cat cafes, but this one is the cat’s pajamas! Unlike the other places I’ve been, this place could stand on its own as a tea house. But on top of that they have a very clean and well maintained cat play area as well. The tea selections were well described, the employee was friendly and helpful, and the cats were so fun. Love the mission of this place and the service, will definitely come back.

This is the best place in Harrisonburg!!! They have an extensive coffee and tea menu along with some great treats. There cats are very well behaved and very well taken care of! One of the most amazing places I have ever been too, I will seriously never forget it!!! The cats are super well taken care of, with several water and food bowls, none of which were empty. They are also well groomed and not stressed at all. One of the best cat setups I have ever seen. I would give this place even more stars if I could!

There is literally no way Aristocat Tea and Cat Cafe could be more perfect, unless it were open more often and later! If you're a tea afficionado the tea here is really top-notch; its Keemun is the best I've ever had, and their first flush Darjeeling is good. They make their own macarons (e.g. pistachio, passionfruit). They serve Vietnamese coffee! The cafe is warm and cozy, it's weirdly easy to meet new people there, and everyone who works and volunteers there is wonderful! But most of all--Madrid rules the house as the maitre d'! He is organized, suave, charming, and runs a tight ship! (May I say he's very handsome, too.) This is the best way to end your week, a delight to look forward to.

This place is amazing. I am a vet tech and was thrilled with the care for these kitties! Multiple water fountains, food bowls, climbers covering the wall, beds everywhere, tons of toys. There was hand sanitizer and shoe covers for the health of the kitties, and everything was exceptionally clean. Such sweet cats, I hope they all find homes but the cafe is definitely a little paradise for them! I had such a fun time and can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our first visit to the cafe! The staff were so friendly & kind. The volunteers were friendly & helpful. The kitties were of course so cute & playful, and the drinks were very good!

This was such a lovely experience. I little piece of cat lover's heaven. We attended the kids "Kitty Time" for my son's birthday and had a wonderful hour sipping warm drinks and playing with cats. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the space is bright and beautiful.

I drove 2 hours to visit Aristocat Café + Tea House and it did not disappoint! 10/10 - would recommend! I’ve worked in veterinary medicine for 23 years and understand the importance of cleanliness in an environment such as this. The first thing I noticed is how clean the café is! When entering the cat room, there is no odor whatsoever, which is quite the accomplishment for a space that has many cats. All of the kitties were healthy, happy and playful. It’s so nice to see a place where the health and wellbeing of the cats is paramount- add delicious beverages and this is the perfect little hangout for any cat lover! I’ll be back!!

Held a teen birthday party at Aristocat Café over the weekend and it was so much fun! The teens and adults all had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the cats, tea and coffee drinks, macarons, and space! We brought birthday cake, highjacked a couple of tables and the couch area to hang out, enjoy our snacks/drinks, and open presents. The staff were delightful to work with, the cats were darling. Seriously the best time, ideal teen party location, and so. much. fun.

This place is incredible! Absolutely gorgeous cafe with a massive selection of lovely teas. Coffees and treats available as well. And best part is you can go in a separate stunningly beautiful,super clean, environmentally friendly cat room. You can cuddle and play with the most wonderful cats available for adoption! We went as a family and had so much fun and giggles!! Service is impeccable with the most lovely friendly owner!

Ive been to a few cat cafes, but this one was the best decorated, absolutely gorgeous inside. There were plenty of friendly cats to spend time with, and friendly people as well. Ill definitely be back.

Omg- I can’t say enough good things about them. This is the only legit tea house in Harrisonburg and they have so many deeeeeelish blends on top of the classics. Their coffee is great too. Love the staff. On top of that, cats. Mostly kittens!! Heads up- you need to pay $15/person to go into the cat room and play with them. But if you don’t want to do that you can watch from the cafe side through the wall-wall mirrors. I LOVE THIS PLACE 😭

Perfect start to Mother’s Day! My husband was worried about this and thought we would be sitting at a table and cats would just be walking all over the table and being in the way. That was absolutely not what happened. They have the cats in a separate room and you can go in the room and play with the cats or you can sit outside the room and watch the cats from your table.The staff was welcoming and courteous, and the shop had a huge variety of different teas, coffee drinks, and little treats. You can also buy cat treats and catnip to give to the cats while you’re visiting them.Obviously, the best part of the entire experience was the 10 or so cats that were in the loft. The cats were friendly, playful, and inquisitive. Everything you would expect from well socialized cats.I can’t wait to do this again!

This was the perfect spot for my cat obsessed 4 year old’s birthday party. He had a fabulous time and it was clean, well run, and the cats were so well cared for. The kitties were playful and happy during our visit and the environment was relaxing and inviting. The owner was flexible and accommodating with our mostly 4ish year olds who were accompanied by parents. I highly recommend this lovely place for a kid party or just a visit!

This is both a cat cafe with tea, and a tea shop with cats! The owner has curated an impressive selection of teas-- The puerhs and yellows on the menu show that she's knowledgeable about the good stuff. As for the cats, they're beautiful and well cared for, and hanging out with them is a relaxing treat. Aristocat Cafe is now one of my must-visit spots whenever I'm in Harrisonburg. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely end up adopting a cat or two from them.

An awesome experience that is well worth the money. The coffee is brewed fresh and hot, and they have a pretty insane selection of different teas to choose from. They have about a dozen cats that you can pay to play with for an hour at a time, which is well worth the money. They have lots of toys, and the cats are all well behaved.

Took my disabled aunt to visit the cats and they did not disappoint! The cats were so friendly! (Except Marbles, he was just hangry) The people were so kind and patient with my aunt as I was helping her meet the cats and she enjoyed every second of it! I didn’t expect much for myself until little Julius (shown below) snuck onto my lap and fell asleep! He’s precious purrs and pawing at my hands for more attention truly captivated my heart. Thank you Aristocat! Definitely coming back soon!

The best experience ever! The man who was at the register (didn’t get to catch his name!) was the sweetest and very welcoming. 10/10 would recommend coming here but just a little warning that the kitties do get sleepy at 4 and will most likely sleep during the 4 pm time (at least during my appointment) but woke up towards the end. It was still fun regardless and I will definitely come back!

Such a wonderful place to go and enjoy a great cup of tea! I am an avid cat lover so this was the perfect place for me! The only downside is the cost to see the cats, however I understand the need to supply them with food and litter! You can always just sit in and watch the cats from their viewing window which I think is also very nice! The cats were all sweet and unique. The cafe provides them with plenty of climbing and sleeping areas. Plus they can hide away if they are not feeling up to humans! I wish I could have took a couple kitties home! The ladies running the cafe were also very friendly and personable. They really know their stuff and have the best teas. I will recommend this cafe any time someone asks for something fun to do!

Absolutely amazing! Over 100 different kinds of tea and a very informed and personable staff that cares for their customers and their cats! If you’re like me and you still have an Earth and Tea Cafe sized hole in your heart (even though they closed years ago) please go give this place a try!! The tea was delicious, the cats were so fluffy, and the environment was perfect for relaxing.

A fantastic addition to Harrisonburg! The café space is gorgeous, with a wide selection of tea and coffee, local artwork, and a pleasant atmosphere. The kitty room is any cat lover's dream! The cats have an amazing space to climb, play, and lounge around. I also appreciate that there's a cat door for them to escape to the back room if they get overstimulated; and décor to hide in if they're feeling shy.

Beautiful cat cafe. I have been to over 10+ cat cafes throughout the US and Europe and this one was definitely one of the best. My husband got a delicious cider drink and we enjoyed an hour relaxing with the cats. I didn't smell cats at all, the whole facility was sparkling clean and all of the cats were clearly very well taken care of and happy. Wish we lived closer, this is a great spot.

Had so much fun with my daughter and friends. Such a chill place with a beautiful setup for the cats. The hour flew by just hanging with felines and enjoying my awesome tea. They have a great selection of drinks and snacks to choose from and are super friendly. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Age 7 and up are welcome to play with the cats. Special session on Saturday for younger children.
