We drove an hour and a half to check out this "3 story walmart." Well, I was a little disappointed it wasn't on all levels, just the top level but I liked the layout. The parking garage is nice too so you're not out in the weather putting your groceries in your car. The cart escalator was neat! Overall, nice walmart!

Nicest staff ever at a Walmart. Maybe it's because Grundy is in the mountains. Everyone knows that dwarves live in the mountains and dwarves are always friendly. So was Benjamin, the manager I think??? But that is rare for Walmart. He was helpful and went above and beyond to welcome me to the store and answer all of my questions. Overall the store was very clean and well organized, and I love the multi their parking system with the canopy. It was raining all day and I went in the store dry as a bone and got in my truck the same way to leave. Thanks for reviving my faith in Walmart employees! This store is an hour from me but worth the drive, and good enough to consider shopping here regularly.

I had a bad experience trying to use my Wal-Mart+ card at checkout. I had to uninstall my Wal-Mart app and download it while standing at the self check out register. And, I still wasn't able to use Wal-Mart+ card. Very aggregated.

This Walmart is awesome. It has a parking garage. And the store is three stories. One of two and all of the United States.

Grundy Walmart is awesome! The staff is helpful and friendly. Some will go out of there way to make sure you're satisfied. Clean and maintained well. Bathrooms very clean. Yes our Walmart is unique it is a two story building with escalators and even one for your buggy! Lately the staff/ employees has changed some areas inside are great like the fresh veggies and meat aisle but some seem neglected like pet food and gardening, not as well maintained like it use to be.

The Walmart looks really cool because it is actually multi level with a parking garage. It has escalators for your shopping cart and escalators for you to ride down too. When you get past the oh this is so neat part, it's still a Walmart. There is some shops around on the bottom level (or was last time I was there). The staff was nice but several items were out of stock. The store was not nearly as busy as most Walmart stores and the people were wayyyyy more polite than normal.

Try to do all my shopping here or whichever one I am closer to. Affordable prices and friendly service. Also they are pet friendly, so no leaving our fur babies behind! 😁

Cleanest Walmart we have ever seen! Parking garage, neat organized, did seem like a big box Walmart, but was huge!Great architectural change!

Convenient but doesn't have as much as other Walmarts. The escalator and buggy escalator is always broken (or one or the other).

I do grocery pickup and I've never had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly and get everything loaded in a neat but also as quickly as they can.

Always great service there. There is only one problem. They have a little of everything but a lot of nothing. So, lots of stuff is always out of stock, and only a few alternatives. Sometimes frustrating and disappointing!

I have called and called this store in Grundy Virginia since yesterday and nobody at customer service will ever answer the phone call. It’s a shame as big of company as Walmart is that they can’t fix something like this.. I hate having to call this store and it’s bad enough when you have a buggy full of groceries and your only option is to go threw self service to check out plus bag your own groceries because there’s no lanes open for checking out your groceries and when you leave the store the escalators never work anymore. My advice to anyone is go on to food city in Vansant Virginia it’s much easier..

I bought two tires and had mount and balance. Came without appointment and was gotten in within 10 min. Price was good...about 20 dollars cheaper than surrounding quotes I had gotten. Staff was polite and helpful.

Its a great store simply because its has almost everything you need without having to stop at 3-4 different stores but the one in my area is always packed with only 1-2 registers open and 4 self check outs that's cramped into one small area so it takes forever to check out. If they are only going to keep 2 registers open then they need to make the rest of them self check out it would make it so much faster.

This store has a little of everything and alot of nothing. Which really limits selection of some things. The hardware section is very limited. In the Pet isle the cat section is not only limited but never stocked. There is no fresh Deli which is unusual for a Super Walmart.

Extra friendly staff, which is a plus for a Walmart. This one utilizes a parking garage underneath it, and stairs, elevators, and escalators to reach the main store. Very unique and cool.

Very Fancy with the covered parking garage so you don't get wet at all. If it's raining or snowing they have you covered. Also the escalators for you and your buggy. I have never seen anything like that before. I was impressed.

They was sold out of what I needed. But they was very helpful and super nice. We visit the area atlest once a year most. Of the time more for side by side trips I will continue to use this location

Well, this store all in all is a very good little store(and I use little lightly). They offer just about all you could ask for when it comes to food, produce and basic home merchandise. Parking can be a pain sometimes, especially during the first two weeks of a month, because the facility has a two story parking garage that can get a little cramped at high capacity. The escalators can be hit and miss sometime to wether they work or not and the elevator that is on site takes its sweet time. So other than a few draw back I do not think they take away from this store at all and would recommend anyone here to do there home shopping.

Pick ups are never done in a timely manner. Rather than hire more employees to clean buggy's and conunt the occupancy of the store the pick up people are made to do it. That means you will be waiting a while for your stuff. It is faster to just go get it you self.
