This Zoo was a very enjoyable experience. The animals were very active and healthy. We enjoyed interacting with them and found the grounds clean and natural. There are hills and requires a good bit of walking but trails are well kept and easy to follow. Great place to take kids to learn about animals and nature. We had a great time and recommend this zoo highly!

The guy in the office was not personable at all when paying for the tickets after that we went to the reptile exhibit first thing and we got to the end and a snake was coming out of its cage I go up to tell the guy and he calls over the radio saying “ apparently one of the snakes are getting out” ( as if he didn’t believe me) then as I walked out one of the workers was walking by me and I hear over her radio him saying “ I don’t see how that can happen” why would I lie about something like that! The grounds are not kept up with. The world largest rodent is there and reading the sign about it started that they are usually in packs of 10-20 of its own kind well he was the only one in there of his own kind so that isn’t health for that animal then we pass by what look to be a bull? ( maybe, there wasn’t a sign for it ) and it look so unhealthy you could see it’s bones protruding from under the skin and to be such a larger animal he most definitely should have had more weight to it if the didn’t want you petting or touching the animals they should have better fencing around them but they don’t I was not pleased what so ever when walking out the guy working the front asked “if we had a good time” I said I did tell the snake was coming out of its cage ( remember that’s the first place we went to ) and he acted like it was no big deal not once did he apologize he was rude about it I wouldn’t even give it a star if it wasn’t for the fact that you had to press on one to even leave a review

Honestly this zoo is so wonderful it's practically ruined all other zoos for me because none of them are as good as Creation Kingdom. ❤️ Don't let the negative reviews on here turn you away. Having been there many times myself the negative reviewers are either blind or crazy because these animals are super well taken care of and so happy. They have large enclosures and a lot more freedom than most of the animals get at bigger zoos. Very clean place. Also in a tucked away location that I think the animals probably really enjoy. Birds have perches throughout the park to sit on where they please. You can actually get close enough to the animals at this zoo to really appreciate them. They let you feed most animals there if you want for a small price but they don't allow anyone to harass the animals. I don't know how on earth they keep such good care of the place but I hope they never change (other than maybe to expand). Id love to take my kids here one day!

Please do NOT let any of the negative reviews on here stop you from checking this zoo out. I have been to so many zoos in my life and this is truly one of my favorites. I have been here 4 or 5 times now within the last year. It’s not huge, but it’s perfect. I have brought my stroller every single time that I’ve come to this zoo and yes it may be a little “hard” to climb up some of the spots with a stroller but it’s great exercise and well worth it. My favorite part of this zoo is how it’s very “hands on”. I LOVE getting to feed the primates and it’s neat getting to feed the hoofed animals too. And of course Tucker the giraffe is the absolute best. He’s so cute and full of personality and I love that you can get up close and interact with him. I went today to this zoo with my husband and daughter and we had such a blast! Parking was great and the staff was great and the bathrooms have always been clean, I love the little hand washing station outside of the bathrooms! Oh and the gift shop is great too. I can’t say enough about this zoo, I truly love it and I’m so thankful that I’m only an hour away from it. Can’t wait to visit again. 😁

Their field trip policy is very discriminatory against special needs children. Because their classroom does not (and cannot) consist of 25+ students, they will not be given as much as a $0.01 discount on admission. The divorce rate is higher in special needs families due to the financial strain the family goes through, so even a small discount helps. We just want to give our kids the same opportunities as other children!...... I will not EVER be recommending or visiting this establishment and will definitely be advising ALL of the special needs parents in ALL of the support groups I participate in, how they choose to handle classrooms with special needs, even though there is nothing listed that specifies this under the group rate information section of the website. Very disappointing. I expected better....

This is a great place for kids and animal lovers alike. Over 50 animals that you couldn't see without driving more than an hour from the Tri Cities. My daughter loved being able to feed the animals, especially the giraffe feeding. The park is well laid out with plenty of places to rest and shady spots. They have a nice picnic area and vending machines throughout the zoo. The gift shop is great, and everything is more than affordable. Well worth the trip! The staff is very friendly, as well.

I loved every bit of it. They have hand washing stations for after feeding the animals or using a restroom. My family and I have been several times and always have fun! My 14 year old son seemed to like it,especially Bella and the other tigers &my 5yr old just didn't know what to do! I do think it's a little steep on the food.. For the giraffe 🦒 u feed it 1 carrot, your child does, then that's it. No peeing it, no hanging with it a few. It's $5 to feed them once. Then the cups of fruit for monkeys, lemurs, etc & the hooked animals (goats, horses, gazelle) are high too. We hated we couldn't feed them more but still had a blast.

This is George. I am too young to have my account so use my Mom's account. Great place! I wish they would add a flamingo habitat, seal and sea lion underwater viewing enclosure. A rhino and hippo exhibit near the zebras would be superb. Vulture, condor and a large aviary would be so good. It would be great if they had an elephant exhibit too!

Fabulous zoo that is well kept and the animals are truly loved. Everyone we have met here has been incredibly friendly and nice. The owners really love the animals and love what they do. These animals are some of the happiest zoo animals I've ever seen. My husband and I love the layout because the pathways are mostly lined with bamboo which makes it so much cooler. My mom loved being able to feed the monkeys. It was remarkable to watch them go after the fruit & veggies. I would highly recommend this zoo to anyone and everyone!

I feel like this used to be a family farm but then one kid decided they wanted an exotic pet and it just grew from there. I had a blast! There were definitely some animals I wasn't expecting to see so that was such a treat! It is on a hill so there is plenty of walking and isn't very wheelchair accessible in some areas

$45 for two adults (under two is free admission with paying adult) and four separate animal feeding packs. I felt like this was a great value considering the time and entertainment we got from our visit. Was able to feed more animals than I expected. A nice variety of animals, and the enclosures seemed clean and all had water. For parents of young children in strollers or wagons - Be aware there are some fairly steep paths and the parking lot is gravel. But if you're reasonably able bodied you can do fine. The website clearly states that the terrain is sloped so just be aware when you make plans for strollers/wagons/toddlers. Only restroom I'm aware of is near the entrance so plan accordingly if you don't want to have to backtrack.Download the app before you go so you can have a park map to reference. Cell service is spotty in the park and I wasn't aware they had an app until I was informed at the ticket counter.Overall we thourghly enjoyed our visit and look forward to next time.

Visiting from out of state. Herd about it from from my girlfriend who lives over this way. It was her first time seeing a giraffe up close and feeding it. We had an enjoyable time seeing and feeding all the animals. Will definitely go again when I come back this way in a few months.

Nice little zoo. Good zoo for small kids. A variety of animals. Can feed some animals. Only things we disliked was $5 to feed 1 giraffe and you only get a small handful of feed, some animals especially the tigers need more shade over the enclosures! Some enclosures were a bit too small for the animals especially the bears, tigers & leopards. Some animals seem very sad & by the looks of the enclosures some get no interaction with the keepers. Also in this summer heat they needed more fresh water buckets placed in the shade. Only 1 restroom & it's an outbuilding and very very hot inside with no fan or nothing. Think they need to make improvements!

Enjoyed this zoo. I got to feed a giraffe! Have tons of monkeys, some white bengal tigers, peacocks, camels, birds, reptiles and so on. Great for kids and those that love animals. Not made for the handicapped person or people with back pain. I was on a knee scooter and it was a tough go. Basically on the side of a mountain with lots of uphills and down hills. All graveled. They have a really nice gift shop also! Prices not bad. If you go, make sure to check hours and days open first.

After reading reviews we decided to visit here. I'll say the animals looked healthy and fed, but they looked so bored.. small enclosures, little cages, no enrichment. Some of the animals were pacing the cages. The large cats were in really small enclosures. Some lemurs they had in the small building and they were all fighting constantly. I think this zoo needs to practice quality over quantity.
