I think this small little Country grocery store has some great tasting food and very good prices with very good customer service and you will not regret it if you stop by to get something. This grocery store leads back to over 70 or 80 years ago when my grandparents were alive and it's still running today which is amazing that it has been in business this long on route 250 in Fulks Run Virginia.

Fulks Run Grocery is also the home to Turner Country Hams. The store may look a bit quaint and plain on the outside, but the inside is far from plain or ordinary!Fulks Run Grocery is locally owned by the Turner family. They are one of the founding familes for this area of northern Rockingham County.The store is a combination of ham sandwich shop meets old time grocery and gift shop. Think Cracker Barrel store but back in the 1930s with a rough wooden floor and antique furnishings.You can find many beautiful handmade crafts, locally produced home goods, foods and candies plus REAL bottled, carbonated sodas that are made using natural ingredients. They also have an extensive collection of colorful patterned Czlavic imported pottery that I havent seen elsewhere in my valley travels.Looking around you will find some personal collections from family members on display around the walls. A Variety of taxidermy animals, birds and fish adorn the walls plus a respectable size arrowhead collection.Stop in and get a freshly sliced ham sandwich, drink a bottle of real pop and have seat in their antique themed dining area. Make sure you get a selfie with the moose head before you leave!

The world's best hams, fried ham sammiches, and so much more!! They have soaps, and jams, and polish pottery!! This store has been in their family for generations. If you find a better fried ham sammich, you had better wake up cause you are dreaming!! I will most definitely be coming back for more!!

Stopped by on a quest for milk. They don't have milk but do have some of the best bacon we have ever eaten. My wife and I didn't catch their names, but the couple running the store were so nice and made our shopping experience very pleasant.

Great little store. Stopped by a week ago while staying in nearby orkney springs. Bought some ham sandwiches which were great. They have great gift ideas soup mixes jams and jellies. My wife and I bought some Fulks run stickers, put them in one of our three bags at the register and somehow threw the bags away without taking the stickers out. I called the store after getting home in Northern Virginia and spoke to a gentlemen and he gladly mailed us some new ones. Gotta stop by. Good food, good store, good people

Not only is the store a great experience but the food is amazing and the owner is the best. My motorcycle broke down infront of the store and after waiting for a tow the owner went out of his way to get his trailer and drove me all the way to Harrisonburg! Talk about great people. Got to hear all about the history and how the hams are made! Thanks Ron!!

I drove 4 hours from Chesapeake Va. I got there just before closing 4:57 pm. The door was already locked. But they still came out to talk to use. We needed to my polish pottery, but the lady said that they only sell smaller items. I was hoping to buy from someone locally not online..

Nice place to stop on a motorcycle ride. We paused in this parking lot because it was paved and had restrooms. It's a neat old fashioned store inside, with plenty of ham products but also enameled cooking pots and local history books. They sell coffee and soda, as well as a broad selection of candy and snacks. It's a good pit stop, gas is just up the road.

A quaint country store with a lot of local goods (pickles, jams, and other preserves), a deli, and the best country ham you'll ever eat.They've also got some neat little toys, plenty of novel candy (gummi fried eggs? Hilarious!), some nice pottery, and a collection of books with several volumes on historical families in the area.

There fried ham sandwiches are amazing. This is a old country store and the owners and staff are always there to help if you are looking for something. They have fried ham on fridays and there deli is great.

A must stop anytime you are close! They have an unusual assortment of merchandise and some of the best ham you will find anywhere. Make sure to pickup some of the ham sandwiches on hamburger buns they have in the cooler by the register.

It was rainy really bad so had to pull over plus I was craving a Country Ham Sandwich. Their food truck was out because of the COVID19 so you can't go inside but its okay. I brought 4 sandwiches and 2 cokes, drove on home. No One has a Better Country Ham Sandwich!!!
