Shenandoah Farm Grocery has very polite clerks. Just about all you need from a convenience store. Propane , Ice , Beer , Tobacco products , drinks, chips , snacks , VA LOTO , pet food , Ice Cream , Bread , Milk , etc .Price is what you'd expect from a country/mountain convenience store .

I love country stores. They have a complete different feeling and experience over big name stores. The people that work at them are entirely different then those at Walmart, Target and such. They have a PERSONALITY. They actually talk and interact WITH you and not AT you. They know how to smile and be polite. They want you to enjoy your visit and come back. Yes, you might pay more at these little stores but it not about the money, its about the experience. It's about bringing back good memories of times gone by. You can find things in these little stores that you cant find elsewhere. It an enjoyment just to walk around and look. I can still remember when people were people and treated other as such not its all about me so what do you want. Support these little stores as big name is running them out of business more every year. Thank you for the enjoyment I get in every visit. Wish we had more people like you today. As Arnold likes to say, I'LL BE BACK.

Pretty good for being in the middle of nowhere when you don't want to go all the way in to town for an item or two. It has most things any convenient store has and it's really convenient to have the store close by. Okay beer selection but not great. No Sam Adam's, Legend, etc the last time I checked but a few IPA's. No restroom so go before you leave home.

Update. Recently took away stars for COVID practices. I have seen a lot of improvement. Either the employee has a mask on when I enter, or will put one on when they see I am wearing one. I appreciate this and know it has not been easy for those who work all day behind a counter or are stocking products.

Prices are absolutely insane!!! I spend less driving all the way into town to pick up what I need including my gas!!! Talking about price gouging 😡

When I was a little kid I used to come here to get hunt brothers pizza. It's been many years since I lived here but i stopped by last summer and it was pretty nice.
