We came here looking for an Easter brunch dessert and the bakery was amazing. Found a fresh fruit tart that was incredible. Also found some zany peep donuts. We didn't check out the rest of the store but it looked quite nice.

Dissatisfied shopping @7:30 2/07/2024. Sections of produce empty. Manager did respond when asked for my needs. NO CASHIERS!!!! If I have to check out myself, then I expect a discount. I don't work for free. Shopping elsewhere if Manager does not raise the bar. Hire the best not just a body.

Very limited clean eating selection of foods. I’ve talked with customer service reps in the store a couple of times and asked for them to sell what’s available in the organic aisles at the Martins in Winchester, but there has been no change. Often times, the few items I want are sold out or I am taking the last item in the Front Royal store. Go to Wegmans in Gainesville or to any local farmers markets and you’ll find a much better selection of healthy foods.

Once you find products you love, they stop carrying them. Also, the prices are ridiculous. I came from Sarasota Florida which is pretty luxurious and the prices aren't this high there. I wish Martins would move out and PUBLIX would move in.

I won't shop here, Will do my business at Strasburg food line. The 2 times I shopped here, both times my car was damaged in the parking lot. Hit and runs, Noone seen a thing. Store is Expensive hard to get in and out of.

Martin's has a Chinese food court . Food is good for express hot chinese food . Very convenient during shopping .Managers special is 3 items plus ( low mein or Fried rice ).See pics .

More expensive than Wegmans. Swiss milk sells out multiple times a week and they think their watered down store milk that is bleached too much is a good replacement. Their distribution and inventory maintenance is awful.

Products like Zevia were on a "healthy" aisle. I found quite a lot of gluten-free stuff on that aisle, but low-carb stuff was very limited and a few of the products we might usually buy were priced higher than we usually see so we passed on those items.The staff was super nice, though, and I'm really glad they stock Zevia even though it wasn't with the other canned drinks.

Front royal is a food void. I go here when I have to. Its dirty has expired items on the shelves and the parking lot will get you killed with idiots driving in it. On the positive side the pharmacy takes Tricare.

Avoid Walmart shop at the grocery store if they still have people that bag of groceries for you, the produce a superior to any big box retail and for the most part, they hire local people so you get exceptional service this location has good Chinese food as well

Very busy place. Most of the workers are working unlike Walmart were all there employees walk around without a clue. Mostly always clean. Nice people

Good sales on meats and seafood. Nice variety of fruits and veggies which are always fresh and clean. Butchers station will do anything for you from cutting down a roast into steaks to steaming shrimp. Martin's even has rotisserie chicken, a hot food bar, a salad bar and a fresh, hot Chinese Food bar. Prices are a little higher than Walmart, but you get what you pay for.

I shouldn't be this excited about a grocery store that is basically giant BUT...We have never been to a martins. Traveling through, stopped and it had many things and varieties that nova giants do not. Honestly was much cheaper too!

Not nearly as large as the other stores (martin's) in the area, but still able to carry most of the essentials that you would expect in a grocery store.The Staff is friendly, the produce fresh, and the smell of shrimp will entice you every step of your shopping experience.

I am currently suffering from a strained ankle and foot. Due to swelling and pain when walking for too long I am using a mobility aid to walk. I tried to use one of the motorized scooters but after unplugging them, turning them on, and pushing the button to move it nothing happened. I tried four different ones. The power light didn't even come on. I think that ensuring that these types of things are charged and available is important. The lack of attention to their charge and thus their availability is a form of ableism. I don't always need it but people like my father who is a disable veteran and an amputee does. The store has at least 6 of these scooters and when I was there two of them worked. Do better.EDIT: BELOW IS MY PREVIOUS 5 STAR REVIEW:Other than a little mix-up with a food pick-up order, Martin's is great. The prices are even better when we have a rewards card. They have a self-checkout and wand for quick in-store shopping.

Yep, another $30 wasted on cold cuts that are just lumped into a pile instead of taking the time to lay each piece down properly. I truly dislike buying cold cuts at their deli.Ok supermarket, with good produce. The deli section doesn't slice cold cuts well and usually can't slice paper thin. If you use the computer to order cold cuts they will be thick. Bread in the bakery is 4-5 days old and they freeze bread then put it out. THAT IS NOT FRESH BREAD!!! For the price they charge it is ridiculous. Just serve 1-2 types of bread and make it fresh everyday and throw away the day old crap.

Very limited supply of certain items such as pimento cheese and the only chicken salad I can find was their brand. Also my rewards card would not work with my phone number and I signed up in early September. I don't carry those things around with me cuz every place has to have one! There were several other items that were very limited in variety. I really was shocked. Martin's is new to me as we do not have this chain where I live.

Love their muffins although sometimes it's a guessing game figuring which flavors are which. Aside from that the produce is always fresh. Prices can be a bit high but the sales make it affordable. Front Royal location is always clean and the lines move smoothly. This is definitely our go to store and I highly recommend it!!!

Martin's is a bit pricey but if you shop smart you can save money. Becoming a valued member is one of the key things to do.The inventory is comparable to other large chains. Some things don't make sense to me like why garlic wouldn't be with the onions.Most importantly, they offer Boar's Head deli meat because in my opinion there is no other. You're going to pay a premium for it at Martin's, however

My GF just bought a rotisserie chicken from here at 5:30pm. Brings it home, and it's not even warm on the inside. 106 degree internal temp. The tiny, print on the label says PACKED AT 9:28am. Pretty sure that is a major food safety violation to sell after 3 or 4 hours. One that the health inspectors used to fail a store for if they found just one. Tried to call the store to alert them before they KILL SOMEONE with contaminated food, but the managers just let it ring off the hook any time you ask to speak with one and the employees who do answer just transfer.
