Live close by and pop in every nite and then when I need some things and don't want to go to Kroger or the supercenter. It's clean and the employees are friendly.

Let me start by saying I hate to give negative reviews. I try very hard to be balanced with the good and the bad when reviewing businesses, so it pains me to lean into the negative side with this one. However, today's visit was the final straw in a series of negative experiences at this location. When I returned home and checked my receipt, I realized I was charged twice for several items—resulting in a significant overcharge. I called the store. When I finally reached someone, he said the manager was unavailable and sounded like he couldn't have cared less about the error. He offered no apology and made little effort to help resolve the issue. I live miles away from this store, so running back over there to speak to someone in person is a huge inconvenience. Sadly, I'm not surprised. Most of my experiences in this store have been less than stellar. The people who work there just don't seem to care. Most of the time, they are unfriendly and appear far more concerned with chatting up their fellow co-workers and horsing around than they are in helping customers. I'm done, I'll do my shopping elsewhere.

This is the friendliest grocery store! The employees are helpful and greet you throughout the store making sure you are finding what you need. It is always neat and clean. The pharmacy is efficient and knowledgeable without the stress and drama of my previous pharmacy. I drive past other stores to come here.

They always have a great variety of food and health items. The staff is helpful if you have problems at checkout. Usually only one cashier is open, but the self checkouts have conveyor belts, which is convenient.

Clean store, good prices and convenient location. Has almost everything the bigger Walmart has as far as groceries and toiletries. Quick to get want you need and check out. Friendly and helpful staff.Got in and out for my monthly toiletries in less than a half hour.Prices are the same as the larger Walmart also.

Love going here compared to the Old Forest Rd and especially the Wards Rd Supercenters. Staff is very polite and welcomes you. It's generally not very busy at all and quick to get in and out of. I even did a pickup order a couple of times and the service was very good. I appreciated that they took the care to put everything in my car in an orderly fashion

Staff was very friendly and helpful when needing to find a seasonal item recently moved, and when I rang something twice by mistake. The store was clean and relatively well stocked. I did see a couple of spots with no product, like unbagged Russet potatoes. I'd also love to see more plastic-free products, especially in the produce department.I love the self checkout lines since I get to bag my own groceries and go at my own speed.

Always clean, very friendly staff. Let me say that again, VERY friendly staff. Love the savings app. And they always have a great selection of food items that I am looking for. The only reason this is not a 5 star is the weird cash policy they have about giving change for $20 or $10. But it's their policy. I am sure there is a good reason.

Receptionist was Great. The actual customer service reps need to do more work less talking amongst each other when it's a good amount of customers waiting to be helped. 6 available reps and only 1 with a customer. Wait time 30 mins. DMV can do better.

Not good today. Ordered medicine 2 days ago on web site. Said it would be ready next day by 2:30. Two days later went to pick up didn't have. I know have a medical issue. What to do? No Walmart in Lynchburg area has my meds. Order system stinks. Do I need to change pharmacies??? Please reply. I you want to talk we can.Steve

This market is close to my home and due to the low prices, savings catcher and small crowds I prefer shopping here when I'm not using the Old Forest road location for grocery pickup. The store is always clean and staff helpful. As a smaller store they run out of some popular sale and produce items during peak times. I absolutely LOVE the staff at this pharmacy and they make me feel like I'm their only patient. I hate battling the crowds at larger stores and although this location doesn't offer a huge selection due to it's small size, they have what I need and I have saved hundreds w savings catcher.

Although I can't speak for the grocery/retail side of this location, as I do my shopping elsewhere... The pharmacy is top notch. Staff is always pleasant, and Alex (Pharmacist) on numerous occasions has gone above and beyond to help. Very informative & excellent customer service. Would highly recommend!

Always fast in and out. They have a good selection of produce. I sometimes dread going to the big "K" store because the parking lot is packed as are the aisles, and half the time employees have their masks under their chins.I like being able to check myself out. No need to deal with a half masked cashier or bagger.

Employee took my Elderly Mothers groceries out to her truck one afternoon after sundown on her first trip there without asking. I told my mother to come here, because it was so clean and safe. She won't go anywhere else now. Thanks to the workers there for helping her and keeping this place so clean and safe for us!

I love this Walmart! The staff is like none I’ve seen before. They are all friendly, welcoming, helpful and are really focused on creating a great customer experience while shopping with them. Always asking how you are doing and if you need help with anything. They thank you for shopping with them. I have even learned the names of a lot of the employees there just from speaking with them. They truly appreciate your business and this is exactly why I choose shopping at this Walmart on Forest Rd over all others. If I could give 10 stars they would earn all of them! Great job everyone, keep up the great work!

I want to give 5 star to both the market and the pharmacy. The people are very friendly there, and patient to kids. I used to go to the Walmart pharmacy on old forest road, and they were always busy and not very friendly. I barely see any smiles over there. The pharmacy staff here are so friendly and always answered my questions patiently with a big smile. This is my new pharmacy for sure.

Friendly employees and great pharmacy. It advertises that you can order food online, but the website doesn't have this location listed that you can. Restroom, men's, is always clean. They usually don't have the beer, wine or liquid coffee creamer that I like but they do have a large selection of other kinds. A very nice selection of fresh organic vegetables. A nice selection of bakery sweets and breads but the hot cooked meats are minimal and the deli is small with only a few choices of cold cuts to choose.

A good place to shop. The store is clean and organized, the employees are helpful and the location of the store is very convenient. Most other the time we don't need the Walmart Super Store, we need something close and easy to navigate. I totally recommend the Great Value brands.

Not sure why but 2 cash only registers open and no one in line, most people use plastic, I think 2 registers open with cashiers and the lady we had was extremely friendly, but thanks for the store we have. One note if employees would smile and say hello they would feel better, I worked retail for well started in 1964, I no it tough sometimes with task they are required to do and customer service. Wal Mart catches a lot of slack this I do know but keep up the good work and thanks, Ray Langford.

Convenient store for my grocery shopping. Generally has the items I'm needing, but if I shop at the larger store in Bedford my expanded shopping needs including clothes, electronics, auto supplies, and a hair cut, can be nearly fully satisfied. The community store always facilitates faster checkout. The staff are good to offer assistance and are always pleasant.

Very clean and well managed grocery store. Friendly associates and managers, who work alongside employees - which is nice to see. Prices are consistently lower than other WM’s. Pharmacy is top notch! Alex is a gem. Great selection of OTC meds and vitamins, especially considering it is not a big box store. All-in-all, I would say the only negative would be lack of some products, but that is to be expected in a smaller store.

Unfortunately these stores in our area are no longer open 24 hours. But when the store is open you will find a plethora of items. However depending on when you shop some items are out of stock and this can be frustrating especially if you come there for a certain item only to see they're out of it. The staff is friendly and helpful but these types of grocery stores are more dependent on self checkout than having a cashier do it. If you do have a cashier check you out(giggity) your wait time could vary due to long lines for those registers. On a side note this store is very chilly inside throughout most of the year so bring a jacket.

This store does a good job staying stocked and clean. Like all Wally stores I would like to see more plastic bag dispensers in produce. Run a test and see how sales increase. The girls seen cuter at this store too.😍
