I really liked my experience here. The food, most made to order, is worth the stop alone! The bacon eggs and cheese on sourdough bread was satisfying.The location itself is very clean. The bathrooms included.It was also a comfort away from home to make my own hot tea.Friendly service. Very kind and welcoming people.

I will be honest when I say to write this review really saddens my heart! I went to sheetz yesterday at 1:34 to load money onto my elderly mother’s cash app card. Made the transaction, paid in cash! Well, after returning to my elderly mother’s home. I realized the receipt said declined. This is pretty much where my nightmare began! I drove back to the sheets that I had created the purchase with cash, to inform them that the money that I had paid Was not going to go to my card because the transaction had declined. The cashier, didn’t get a chance to response before the manager overheard us speaking rudely tells her to stop talking to me and says I have to make a call before we can give you any type of refund. I patiently waited 45 minutes! to just have a. Phone handed to me, and yes, he handed me the phone rather than telling me himself that he was not gonna to be able to give me my money! Even though the transaction happened less than an hour prior, And paid in cash. I was not a happy camper. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the fact that I was not nice to Holly on the phone at this point. As you can understand, I was very upset. Holly informed me that irregardless of the fact that I paid in cash, They had to do a full countdown before they could refund me my money. I asked Holly is it possible that the money will make it to the card even though it says declined. She said, that’s unlikely. So now I have to wait three days before they can give me the 500 They so easily took from my hands. I called today and talked to customer service, And they were not very much help either. At the end of the conversation. I told him that this makes it hard for me to want to be a continuing customer, And his response was we understand where you’re coming from and after we give you your refund if you choose not to be a customer, we understand. I wonder if you told all your customers that how many customers would you have left? This is a huge inconvenience for me not for sheets for me. Most companies would offer a gift card, gas points, free food, something as compensation for the three day wait that I will have to to endure before getting the refund I should have received the day I came in with my receipts. And honestly, I felt like I was treated like a criminal. The manager was completely red in the face, Would barely make eye contact with me, And did not apologize for the situation at hand! And did not have the decency to tel Me himself… Instead put me on the phone with Holly! I have to say after I get my money back if I get my money back. Most likely will never return to another sheets again! And if you enjoy that kind of treatment, go ahead and keep going there! I will take my business elsewhere!

Rude employees at this 12259 Lynchburg Salem Turnpike Sheetz in Forest..... I called a employee "buddy" and he replies "thats condescending, how would you like it if i called you that?" Since when is buddy condescending? I asked him and he said "You know it is, stop playing dumb."

Place is very dirty inside with gnats and flies everywhere. Trash bins are often overflowing. Condiments for the coffee station are rarely restocked. It’s obvious that their manager is very inept.Employees are very nice however.

My husband and I had the worst experience at the New London location this evening in regards to asking the cashier to manually enter our sheetz card number. He stated that he could not do that and the register would not allow him to input numbers….even after we told him how to do it and which options to push. We knew it could be done because we were advised by their corporate office and a manager at one of the locations that since the company could not get our points transferred the only way to use the number was to have it manually entered. The gentleman at the cash register was rude, arrogant and was not customer focused or oriented at all. We left our food tickets and other items and our money went to another location who DID manually enter our sheetz rewards card number. Basically, the worker LIED and just didn’t WANT to manually enter the number for us.

Had the most awful experience when I prepaid for my gas with cash then I made an order at the MTO and my pump somehow became unset. I went back in to ask the cashier who had just checked me out to reset the pump because I was now ready to pump the gas since I had to wait an extra long time on my food order. She then proceeded to tell me that there was no such transaction on the screen then called the manager over her walkie-talkie to tell them that I was imitating a purchase and then when I asked her are you serious you just checked me out 3 minutes ago she then proceeded to call the manager back to say hurry up because things were getting hostile. I literally was just standing there waiting for the manager who came up on the screen and reset it within a matter of 5 seconds I am completely thankful for that manager who I believe name was John as far as the cashier I did not get her name but if that is the kind of workers that they're going to hire and continue to have on their front end then I will no longer be stopping at that store. It was rude, kind of embarrassing for her to insinuate that I had not paid for my purchase of gas and furthermore she was not willing to help or come to a solution of my problem on her own.

They are not as clean and well maintained as Wawa and I have even visited their stores in their hometown of Altoona, PA. Yet they have a variety of different food and drink and they are always doing good business, so they must be doing something right.

Really friendly people, they’re nice as can be at this Forest VA Sheetz location!I sometimes stop for gas or a Coca Cola. Sometimes I get some alcoholic beverages. Have your ID ready! Theyre checking everyone, even older folks when buying alcohol. Just cooperate, they’re just doing their job. There was a older man I saw who got a little mad at the cashier, he asked her if she was serious and muttered a nasty word. I’m disappointed / surprised at hostility towards an employee doing their job ;likely following employer mandates, enforcing the law. Life’s too short to be as petty as that to show hostility! Better to be safe than sorry

We stopped to get lunch for our road trip. All employees were wearing masks. The MTO touch screen was, as always, easy to use. I got a cheese filled pretzel, which was okay,, but i would have preferred mozzarella cheese. The cashier was friendly and talkative.

Sheetz is da bomb ! I get free MTO stuff when I called, and well breakfast lunch and dinner 5 free items. Can't really go here with out spending 50 bucks so that says it all.

Every time we travel between Roanoke and Richmond/ Williamsburg, we almost always stood for either a bathroom break, to grab some coffee or some MTO food, or to top off the gas tank. Plenty of parking and lots of gas pumps will let you get in and out quickly. Service is usually quick, the cashiers are friendly, the bathrooms are pretty clean...so make the stop when you can.

This 5 Star rating goes for REGGIE MONROE. He is a Fantastic worker who is very friendly and very HARD WORKING!!!!!!!! One night I went here and it was him and some other dude up front he was doing register and food table!!! Give this man a raise REGGIE MONROE is THE BEST EMPLOYEE THIS SHEETZ ON 221 FOREST VA BY JEFFERSON FOREST HIGH SCHOOL HAS HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stopped by at 440 in the morning, wanting to grab a bite to eat. What i got was a bag of cold, half empty fries and a burger where the toppings were half off the burger. Gas was cheap tho, so 2 stars for that.

It's OK bathrooms is disgusting manly young teenagers work there and there lazy so I dont eat there at all God you should have seen the bathroom and it's been like this on more than one occasion

DO NOT GO TO This sheetz between hrs of 11pm to 5am NO COFFEE and dont know how to fix food. I have tried several times and is ridiculous if you orderbreakfast u want coffee
