I wish I had taken pictures, but the store was very neat and organized. The few people I saw working there were focused and productive. The shelves, surprisingly for the holiday, were nice and stocked. And I can tell the cleanliness of the store was well maintained!

I don't usually shop at Food Lion, but there aren't a lot of grocery store options in this area. Pros: The store is clean and well-stocked, most items are priced well below Kroger, and the lines are short and move quickly. Cons: It's a very basic store. You won't find any of the fancy ingredients on a foodie's grocery list here. It's a good store if you need to pick up a few essentials. The Kroger near me can get kind of busy, so it's nice that it's easy to get in and out of this store quickly. The staff is hit or miss in terms of customer service, but that seems to be the case at EVERY grocery store around here.

This is by far the cleanest and best stocked food lion in the area in my opinion. I like the produce, I can usually find what I need pretty easily, and the prices (although higher usually than Walmart and sometimes Kroger) aren't too outrageous if I'm just going on for a few things.

Very calm. Not a lot of chaos. Has a small town feel, as it should. Bedford is a small town. Reminds me of the grocery stores when I was growing up. Clean, neat and friendly.

It's my mom birthday tm and this wonderful lady name Cathy was so nice she singed happy birthday to my mom. She was so sweet and helpful. She recommended some cookies at the bakery there and they're so good. Thank you Cathy for singing to my mom happy Birthday.

Well, We have shopped at this Food Lion for over 20 yrs and never experienced anything as rude as we did this evening. And this is the first time I have ever given low a review for anything. So, As my husband parked in an almost full lot a young employee named Jacob was standing in the cart holder. As we both exited the car young Jacob walks over next to our car and started ranting at my husband that he better watch out where he’s going. Now by the time this kid was near our car we were already out of the car. He clearly walked next to our car after we were already parked and on our way out. We BOTH clearly saw him messing with the carts we’ll before we parked. He continued to rant for a couple minutes as we walked into the store. So we walked over to the managers office and mentioned this to the Manager and she said she would speak to him. Minutes later as we checked out on a very busy evening the day before Christmas EVE, we notice Jacob texting on his phone in the front of the store just outside the managers office with a store full of shoppers. Needless to say we will be shopping a whole lot LESS at this location.

Usually short lines. Convenient quick in and out. Store prices are good if you stick with their house brand. Would prefer pull through parking spots but the location is handy.

Heading to Kroger-- stopped in to Food Lion because they have better limes-- ended up finding what we wanted here at competitive prices, so we filled our basket and skipped Kroakster all together. How convenient! I was pleasantly surprised. The staff beamed an attentive, aim-to-please the customer, attitude. I did not feel "taken for granted." I'll be shopping here more often in the future.

Food Lion is always clean & isles are not clogged w/ inventory. They are a little expensive on things but what grocery store isn't. Folks that work there are friendly & helpful, some of the customers are helpful also.

Parking lot can be a bit inconvenient since the rows are not pull through parking. This food lion seriously needs a update since it just seems dingy but the staff and friendly and it's always well stocked!

Went to this Food Lion on a Sunday afternoon on our way home as we were passing it & needed a couple items.It is laid out different from our Bedford store.Couldn't help notice the fried food/chicken smell as soon as we walked in.While we love it to eat, just do not want to wear it as cologne all day!There must be something wrong with their ventilation system.....other than that it was like any other storeJust don't stop here on your way to somewhere you'll be in close proximity to people cause you will leave smelling like a greasy spoon!😂

Small lil food lion in the middle of the country woods, very clean, polite and helpful staff. Was in the aisle looking and was asked if needed any help. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean. Some reason at time they were out of bananas lol, found that to be odd, but everything else was very organized.

My favorite place to shop. Everything is clean and organized . I can always find everything I need. The staff and management are always on point, kind, and courteous. Best food lion for sure! Always a repeat customer at this location.

People are nice and will help you anyway they can. I forgot to order a cake for my mom birthday. I was looking at the cake. A lady asked me if I needed anything and I told her what I needed. she said give me 15 minutes and 15 minutes later my cake was done.

Love the staff here! As Food Lions in the area go, this one has some of the nicest produce. Produce staff make an effort to keep produce fresh and varried..they try new things to see if we locals will like it. They also will try to get unusual things if requested. Overall a pleasant place to shop. Cheers for the deli department too. I wish the parent company would rethink ending having fresh baked-on-location bread..that fresh bread was Soo much better!

Thursday night before the forecasted snow on Sunday, just left Walmart Timberlake to pick up 12 items, OUT of all but 3 items, I decided to leave the 3 items and all the bad attitudes working there and go to Food Lion, New London. UNBELIEVABLE, they actually had all 12 items that I needed! All but 2 registers were open, I was greeted with a pleasant “How are you tonight” . One day, Walmart will fall from grace just as K-Mart did. My loyalty will move to Food Lion after local business support!

A very scary experience. I only shop for groceries once each month and it's suprising how much groceries are going up from one month to the next. If we don't get the Demoncrats out of office this country is going to go broke.

Average smaller market with typical needs. Not large enough to carry all the various items seen in Walmart & Kroger stores today. However, easier to shop in for routine groceries. Clean, well-displayed & priced.

I do enjoy shopping there, but some of the cashiers act like they really hate their jobs. They need to either be thankful they are employed or find another job. Bad attitudes make customers shop elsewhere.

Pretty standard Food Lion. This store is newer and better maintained than many I have been in. Some deals are worth it, sometimes Kroger is a better pick. You just have to watch your costs between the two.
