Foodlion does a good job of providing a good selection of groceries. The staff is helpful and efficient. Great selection of pumpkins. Store trying very hard to provide a good experience.

Nice store. I understand they have to stock the store but leaving the extra stock on the floor to put up later is a big tripping hazard.

This Food Lion is only alright. Sale items are wiped out immediately and the stock seems to not really be replenished. Good examples would be drinks and the 5 green cantaloupe on the floor during a sale.The produce section is really lacking at times. They are all either green or going bad when purchased. The bagged salad fridge must be kept @ freezing because anything we buy goes bad by the sell date. Our last (Food Lion brand) bag of potatoes had to be thrown out because they had a chemical smell that couldn't be washed off. We were afraid to eat them.Update: 10/23/23No one seems to be reading these reviews for their store and their stocking problems persist. Wife drove the 30 minutes and was only able to fulfil 90% of the grocery list. Frozen food was wiped out and had to ask an associate to check in the back. Was told a truck would arrive tonight. The items in question were not even on sale so this seems to be a Grocery Manager issue.On a trip to the Hillsville store we noticed that the shelves were not bare and employees were actively stocking. If at all possible make your way there instead.

Disgusting. The fact that you would terminate someone's job for a mistake instead of just giving them a warning makes me never want to shop here again. That young man was one of your best assets. Walmart here I come.

Picked up some pre packaged salad. Always a mistake no different in this store. They never look at what is in the case just stuff the new behind the old it looks like. Customers know that. Late Sunday had to take what was there. This is Monday the picture talks no need for words.

Would like to see better hygiene practices in the deli one of ladies working on a day that I shop stuck her finger in her ear with her gloves on and never bothered to change gloves again before handling the food again. I don't buy already prepared foods from this location anymore because of this. FL need to train and retrain employees on sanitation practices.

The store and bathrooms are consistently clean. The staff are always helpful and the selection of products for different dietary needs and preferences including gluten free and organic has always been good. There are weekly specials. I have always liked their deli meats. The deli area looks clean and cared for.

good selection of food and alcohol, but service could have been better. one older lady definitely did not look pleased to be working and seemed to make it pretty obvious. although, the gentleman who had a bun and kind of looks like a lumberjack was very hospitable and welcoming

My Food Lion is great. The staff is always helpful and efficient. It's like coming home. Many of my friends come here to shop when they visit me. The produce is fresh andthe in store goods are always a big part of our celebrations. I love my Food Lion.

The produce is good. I like the availability of bagged salads. We also found seaweed, a favorite of my granddaughter!
