So my husband does self check out and he does 2 transactions. He uses my debit card and pays 12.11 for 2 quarts of oil.then does separate purchase using his credit card and paid 14.37 for groomer kit. When he went to leave the store he looked behind him and 2 employees was on either side of him like he was stealing. He told them to take a selfie next time and they told him to have a nice day. Because they could see receipts in each Bag.. Luckily I wasn't there or yall would have gotten your items back and I would have went somewhere else and purchased them from another place like walmart Because they love their customers.

Great store, Great staff and great location that keeps me from running to town for the basics but, I had to take one star because here lately they have been having a hard time keeping the weekly essentials in stock. Not sure what going on but I hope they get it figured out soon.

Stop by the store today the young gentleman that checked me out did a great job and was super nice. Upon leaving a girl thanked me for coming in and was awesome.!! The store was super clean and neat!

Always pretty cluttered and not always stocked well on many items. The employees are nice and helpful but the store itself is usually always a bit of a mess and has aisles blocked by carts and merchandise to be stocked, making it hard to get area the store quickly or easily.

This used to be my most frequented dollar general. They always had everything in stock and a neat and orderly store.Here lately, I don't know what's happened. The store is always a wreck... Shelves are practically empty and all the isles are so blocked with shipment carts full of boxes, carts, ladders, but never see anyone stocking. I thought at first it was just a seasonal thing, but it's every single time I go no matter what time of day I go anymore. Getting a shopping cart through the store is practically impossible these days not to mention dangerous to customers!Hopefully this is something that will not continue. I loved this store for how easily you could navigate before this started happening.

The management at this store is some of the worst I've ever seen, and they are incredibly rude to customers. I've frequented a lot of Dollar Generals but I would avoid this one at all costs!

I had a very very good experience today at the Dollar General located in Fishersville Virginia. The manager was awesome there was some articles that had the wrong price on them but was still being advertised for the Christmas special. And when I asked about it because I noticed that the date was wrong and that the sale went off on the 24th he said I will honor the the price that is printed on the advertisement. I was so overjoyed and said thank you because a lot of managers would not have done that instead oh we forgot to take it down that's not the right price anymore. And the clerk was a very very nice young lady that was very pleasant to the customers as well as respectful. That's the best I think of all Dollar Generals I have ever been in that was the most hospitable and very clean not cluttered but organized store. I have to Dollar Generals that are closer to where I live but from now on it's worth it to drive a little father for the courtesy I received there.

The chunky guy that works there isL A Z Y! He couldn't care less if there is a line of customers half way through the store, he wouldn't open another register for anything. His appearance is one of dirty and sloppy. Understandable if he takes no interest in himself, why should he care about others... Wow!

If there was an option to give no stars, I would. The cashiers in this store seem as though they hate life and are NOT nice at all. This store is convenient for me but I’d rather travel to another location to avoid hateful cashiers. Poor customer service for sure!

Drove up to the store at 8:53 PM got out of my car and the lady closed the door on me and shook her head motioning they were closed. When the sign clearly says they close at 9 PM. I will not shop at this Dollar General ever again. Put a bad taste in my mouth.

I love Dollar General, but this particular location parks their tall carts with merchandise on them right in the middle of almost every isle, long before closing. You literally have to turn, squeeze, and even move them yourself to get through the isles. The more irritating part is the employees, know it and jus watch everybody have to push and move carts jus to shop... and they dont care, they dont budge to move it or even attempt a bs excuse or apology.

This place is a disaster!! The isles are usually littered with boxes and plastic wrap and inventory carts are blocking several isles.I live down the road from this store and it used to be the best Dollar General around until they decided to move one of the managers from the Hopeman Parkway store to Fishersville. He is very rude to customers and he had the store on Hopeman Parkway a disaster. He must be friends with someone higher up for them to let him mess up 2 different stores. Luckily they have a better guy at the Hopeman Parkway store now and he's cleaned it up alot!

This is a great store always carries a wide variety of whatever I'm looking for! Love seasonal shopping! And picking up lunch stuff! People are always friendly that work there.

Pretty nice store, cheap prices from what I saw, and the cashier even doubled bag my 3 items I purchased which I really appreciated it, the aisles can be a bit cramped when there is a lot of people though, other than that it is a great store

Great place if you dont mind waiting 15 minutes to find an employee to get to the front to check out. I can only imagine how much inventory walks out the door.

The customer service I continue to receive at my local Dollar General is phenomenal. They are always willing to help me find something I need and ready to ring me up ! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Very frustrating. Chothes not tagged so you could purchase but everyone has a security tag so you couldnt steal them. Short staffed and long lines.
