I came here for the $10 dog wash and continue coming here because the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. After a couple of visits, they remembered me and my dog. It's really nice to walk in the door and have someone greet you and ask if you want them to set up a tub.There's a great variety of treats, and if your dog is having trouble with something the staff knows enough to recommend alternatives. I also appreciate the manager helping me find a replacement food when my dog was recommended to get off grain-free diet. It took a few visits and some pet food samples, but we're on a new food that he loves and his coat looks great.

Excellent customer service and suggestions while seeking treats to carry along with me while I visited customer offices and locations for the merchant services division of my company.Was greeted as I entered the store and given immediate assistance upon requesting suggestions for the product I wanted.Lots of quality products, great customer service, clean and well stocked store. If you own a dog, you can even give you dog a bath in the facilities provided for a nominal fee.

This place is great! I stumbled upon it during a trip to another store. The staff was very sweet and helpful. There is an amazing selection of products. All that are very good for your pet. I like it more than the big chains and they have have a dog washing area too!

My favorite store for pet supplies! They have a wide variety of products at reasonable prices. Their self service dog wash is open again by appointment and you can't beat $10 for a wash. They collect donations and support local rescues!

Super friendly staff and great selection of food. I found most of the stuff I needed and that's hard to do because my dog's diet is particular. They also have discounted food and a lot of sales. There's even a bath area that you can wash your dog at. I did get food there that was a little spoiled but I went back to the store and they gave me a full refund.

While there are many Pet Values in our area, I have always loved coming to this one the most. I used to come here to use their washing station all the time but after today I will never step foot in this place ever again. I arrived at today (2/10/2020) at 8:28 PM and I was greeted and there were two people in the front asking if they can help us. I began to walk with my two dogs to the washing station and they said we close the station at 8:30. WHAT? I even asked them if they are serious and the gentleman at the register said yes. So I just walked out in disappointment. How do i know that this is not true is because I usually leave my office around 8:20 PM and I find my way to the store and no one ever says anything to me. No where in the website does it even state that they do not offer washes after 8:30 PM. Coming from a owner of several business in the area myself, this is ridiculous. The staff just sitting there waiting for the shop to close on a rainy day. Sounds like laziness and poor management to me . I know for a fact that if the owner was there this would not happen. You do NOT turn away customers before a store closes. This is how many businesses fail in our area. It's not like we were going to take long. I needed 15 minutes tops as per usual. Every dollar adds up and it is clear, the staff does not need peoples services after a certain time because they have to get ready and go home. If that was the case... just change your time of operation. I hope you treat people a little bit better and give better services. I used to only shop at this store but I will no longer come here again.

I rarely write reviews for any establishment but the staff there are so friendly and wonderful, I opted to do so! This store is just down the street from the Vienna dog park and my pup plays hard and gets dirty so we go to petvalu for a wash... the self wash stations are clean and plenty of towels are available. The store is well stocked and the staff are always helpful. We always enjoy our stops at petvalu.We shop for dog food there as well as a variety of treats! I recommend it! They have cats for adoption all the time and pet adoption events frequently. So check them out!

Want a place to take your dog and wash them and never have to clean up the hair or wash a towel? This is it. 10$. Staff is also always super friendly, helpful, and ready to answer questions. We love this place!

Good place to get quality pet food. Staff is eager to help and are pretty nice. The dog wash area is definitely a plus as well. They give you everything you need as well as a dryer!

I usually go there for the self serve dog wash. At this location, the bath area is well maintained. You will get a lot of dog hair if long coat dogs were recently washed. They also support local shelters.

I had the best experience today at the Merrifield store. I went looking for a birthday present for our 3 year old Cocker Spainel and I ended up choosing a few toys and treats. The young woman working offered to make a special basket and wrapped it with bows and ribbons. Absolutely amazing. Great customer service and will be back for sure!!!!!
